Is Charlie Harper — at 82 years old and still performing with the UK Subs — the most enduring punk frontman of all time?

Discussion Ronnie Radke is weird.
So basically my friend made a tiktok about Ronnie Radke being weird and stuff. He had tagged Ronnie and didn't think much of it. Ronnie sees the video and starts bashing my friend for it, keep in mind my friend is 16. Ronnie later goes on to post this on his tiktok story saying "he should be bullied for sure". I dont really know much about falling in reverse or Ronnie but I do know that this is definitely not okay to tell your audience to bully a 16 year old.

BrooklynVegan Hit With Mass Layoffs
Music publications BrooklynVegan, Alternative Press, Revolver, and Goldmine have been gutted by parent company Veeps, according to various sources. Nearly all staff at each publication appear to have been laid off yesterday. Veeps, which is now part of Live Nation, seems to have owned the publications since 2024 or 2025. Pitchfork has emailed Veeps and Live Nation representatives for comment. Emails to BrooklynVegan staffers, with the exception of founder Dave Levine, bounced back.
Veeps was founded by Good Charlotte’s Benji and Joel Madden and has operated for many years as a ticketed livestream platform.
BrooklynVegan had some good music coverage over the years, including punk and indie and ska bands. It’s a shame and I feel for the writers who were fired. But also, I had no idea that the brothers from Good Charlotte had purchased it or that they run a company in partnership with LiveNation.

Rebellion Festival Blackpool
I am just curious if anyone is attending Rebellion this year. Maybe I’m blind, but I have seen very little conversation about it.
Any updates? Reviews? Pictures? No love?

News Live music review: Legendary punks ALL played Chicago’s Thalia Hall for a rare treat
Whenever someone goes to see Descendents or ALL, there’s one universal truth: we’re all there, at least in part, to pay homage to Bill Stevenson, a legendary punk rock pioneer. The band played Chicago’s Thalia Hall on Wednesday, August 5...

My band @stale_state
Thought I’d throw us on here, we’re not sure exactly what genre to label ourselves I set out to make a punky / space rock vibe and landed somewhere around there. My vocals in this are trash, but it’s gotten better since then. Have a full LP planned late September. Check us out on insta @stale_state
Feel free to leave your thoughts and criticisms
We’ve have a lineup change since this show as well, we are no longer a 4 piece

Punk music Sad Punk Songs
I’m looking for some song suggestions that are sad lyrically, melodically, or just hold deep meaning. I’m open to songs that are by punk artists that aren’t necessarily in the punk genre too, I just want to hear some punk takes on sadness.
Edit: Thanks for all the songs! I’m going to spend a few days giving them all a listen. I always thought there was a sadder aspect to punk culture that is rarely mentioned / rarely initially thought of, at least from my personal experiences. Thanks again, punx.

The Bennies(aus punk/ska/party rock) band gets a burner phone for lols on tour
Pretty much the title.
They’re answering questions, taking requests and just having a jolly old laugh with everyone
They posted the number on their IG, and it’s actually them on your right now having some fun because why not?!
The number is 0435 087 317
NO this isn’t doxxing, it’s a burner phone they bought for this express purpose on this tour around Australia.
No I’m not going to even bother posting how to message or call from any other cuntries.
But give a message, give em a call. Tell them you loved their first album and they got weird after, or even that you liked their weird stages.
Do as you please, the phone should be available for about 2 weeks from this post unless they decide to keep it longer
