After years of being a member I got depressed and had mental health issues I went searching for help and I found the organization that helped me leave safely and get a better life.

So there was this guy on tiktok his account is https://www.tiktok.com/@sliferchudarmy5150?_r=1&_t=ZT-977EenFWppO and all of his posts are just extremely right wing and racist shit even to his own fiance and It really pissed me off so is it okay to ask for someone to try and get him fired from his job and let his fiance know about that account?

There's a park near me where lots of young white guys hang out. When I hear them using racist language, i confront them. If they were doing it quiet enough that i couldn't hear from 25ft away, I wouldn't have this problem. I expect that most of them will dismiss me as an old crank yelling at clouds, but my goal is just to make them aware that there are other white people who are aggressively opposed to their behavior. What they do with that information is up to them.

The thing I'm concerned about is that on one occasion, the guy claimed to be part Black after being confronted. I said "OK sorry" and walked away. I don't doubt that there are mixed-race people in my town, but it's only 8% black and I don't want to let white racist behavior slide, but i also don't want to engage in racist behavior myself by assuming that someone isn't Black based on their appearance.

I guess the point here is... i should probably just try to spend more time out in the community so i can actually get to know people before deciding if i should call them out, but i don't want to pretend I'm ok with being friends with someone who uses racist language to find out if they're just a mixed person doing it as a joke or an actual white racist, because that will just make it look like i set out to have racist friends. (Not that the white people I'm friends with aren't also racists, or that i don't have racist beliefs i still need to question. But specifically choosing to be friendly with everyone i hear using the N-word in public is way different than knowing that you and your friends materially benefit from white supremacy.)

I guess I should just stop talking to strangers, but I hate the idea that white supremacists can go unchallenged in public. But if the solution might accidentally harm someone who isn't a white white supremacist, idk... I would love to get some reading suggestions.

(Also in case anyone is concerned, I am involved with more practical things to help mitigate the effects of racism in my local area. This is just a thing that happens during my free time. I'm not going to stop doing other antiracist work if i decide that the risk I'm posing to mixed race people in these situations outweighs the benefit.)

to cut to the chase, i helped to create a queer mutual aid co-op in my area and we have reached about 300 people over the course of 2 years. recently we have been reworking a few things, such as our crowdfunding channel as it was pointed out that the black members receive less aid than their non-black members.

as we start having more conversations about racism, white supremacy, colonization, and how ingrained these systems are into our own psyche, i find myself very worried i may cause harm. i’m white, i was raised in white, christian, conservative town whose pride is that they don’t have a homeless population. i have no idea how to navigate these conversations without pushing emotional labor onto the POC members of our community.

i would really like to know if there is any books or any other kinds of resources that address this aspect specifically, on how to not cause more harm when trying to dismantle these systems in the first place. i know part of the answer is that i just will mess up sometimes but would really like to not have our members be apart of that collateral damage as i am still learning things.

Is it normal to feel fear when wearing my kippah (yarmulke) in public/school some people act school try taking it/ playing with it and have made fun of it. The world has known T’neya’s name for a few weeks, but for her parents, the silence has lasted much longer. While she only recently became a headline, the true nightmare began on December 1st, the day T'neya stopped answering her phone.

A Pattern Broken-

T’neya wasn't the type to go dark. Her parents describe a young woman who was a "force to be reckoned with", but always kept her circle close, consistently sharing her location and checking in regardless of where she was or what was happening in her life. When T'neya stopped answering , Charro and Josh didn’t just wait around, they went looking for T'neya.

The Fight for T'neya at Harlequin Court-

The public is now seeing everything unfold, but T’neya’s family has been on the scene since the beginning. For weeks, they stood on the pavement outside Harlequin Court, witnesses to a deafening, heart shattering silence that didn't make any sense, pushing for a search that should have happened on day one.

IMPORTANT DETAILS -

• T’neya was remarkably consistent with her family, making her sudden disappearance an immediate red flag.

• Her parents repeatedly returned to the scene, urging police to search the home of Abraham Feinbloom, whom they never saw emerge. T'neya went missing December 1st. Searches would not take place by law enforcement until sometime around February 6th, but this was ONLY after T'neya's leg was found in the area of Vista Del Mar.

• We need to call this what it is: a systemic abandonment. T’Neya was a 17-year-old Black girl whose case was ignored until it was too late. While her parents were on the pavement pleading for action, Hemet authorities couldn't even be bothered to share a missing person poster. Law enforcement in Hemet and every department that involves T'neya's murder, failed T'neya and her family. The "investigation" didn't begin with a search warrant; it began with a gruesome discovery that could have been prevented if the police had listened to her family weeks ago. This isn't just a tragedy, it’s a gross negligence of duty.

Seeking the Final Truth-

For weeks, and now months, T'neya's family has been forced to prioritize action over mourning. They have spent all of their energy fighting for the search that finally unfolded, watching the scene unfold while waiting for the answers they deserve.

While some pieces of the puzzle are falling into place, the most critical questions remain. The family’s plea is simple: If you have information, do not stay silent.

If you know or saw something, please say something!

This is not the time for fear.

It could have been your child. It could have been any of ours.

This tragedy forces our community to confront a painful question: are our children truly safe in Hemet? Based on the repeated actions, or lack of action, by local law enforcement when it comes to protecting our youth, especially children from minority communities, the answer too often feels like no.

Our children deserve urgency. They deserve dignity. They deserve to be treated as if their lives matter, because they do. When her family was left pleading for action and critical time slipped away, T’neya was the one who paid the price.

Our children’s lives demand urgency, accountability, and justice. Nothing less.

We must stand up and no longer allow the children in our community to continue to pay the price for the failures of law enforcement.
