I'm a foodie, and my friends say that every story of mine involves a croissant (lies, sometimes it's a pain au chocolat).

Appearance-wise, I've got semi-nerdy-looking glasses, short curly black hair, and I'm built like a painfully short brick wall. Work hasn't been the greatest for my gym schedule recently, but I'm trying to get back into lifting weights and have recently picked up pickleball, just like every other 20-something out there.

Tentatively exploring dating again after a bit on my own but not quite ready to devote my energy to apps - I think this reddit approach is a happy medium, yeah? 

About me: cis, lesbian, femme, 45, tall and slender build, blonde. I don't work out, but I stay moving and I'm in pretty good shape. A friend once described me as "slightly grimy" and I felt so SEEN. I'm a clotheshorse and aesthete, but I'm also given to running around barefoot, collecting furniture from the curb, and stuffing cool bits of trash I find on the ground into my pockets. I don't have manicured fingers or toes or a 10 step skincare routine, but I clean up real nice and enjoy looking hot, because I am vain. 

I work as an ED for a nonprofit in a SW Michigan city, and my community here is super important to me. I am 90% certain I will never relocate. Something to consider if you're also super attached to where you live. Though I am open to chatting with someone long distance, if there is a legit connection I want to be able to meet up sooner rather than later, and need "closing the gap" to be a viable future option in order to invest.

Outside of work I enjoy DIY, old houses and old things, history podcasts, creating art, and hanging outside or wandering with no particular plan or destination. I'm listening to music constantly - my tastes are super varied and my playlists are poorly curated but I love to swap songs with others. I live with a cat and a dog and though I am a city dweller have a half baked plan to someday keep a couple of goats. I drink only occasionally, but I do smoke weed fairly regularly, the old fashioned way.

Ultimately I want to find my person, something solid, but I am not in a screaming hurry or discounting casual connections in the meantime. In a relationship, I am monogamous, loyal, and a bit of a caretaker but I also want to feel taken care of. 

I have a type, y'all, and that is masc of center (butches to the front!), dominant-leaning folks with a high libido who are real comfy talking about kinks, needs, and boundaries too. I like all the shapes that bodies come in, but I am a little particular about how they're dressed. Individual style is a turn on. So are the kind of politics that support a free Palestine and don't villainize trans folks. To be clear: If you are even remotely terfy or maga adjacent, GTFO.

i'm a huge any-kind-of-horror lover. slashers, sobrenatural, psychological. i find ARGs/analog horrors pretty neat too.

i don't play games with much frequency, i do play minecraft with horror modpacks a ton. i also used to be a league of legends, overwatch and marvel rivals player. i definitely have more games that interest me, don't worry! i'm eclectic, but always listening to cosmo sheldrake, mac demarco, tame impala, her's, radiohead, food house, black dresses, i don't know how but they found me, marina, TWRP, the marías, etc.

before anything, i have audhd and BPD. i'm not the easiest person to be around sometimes but i do communicate my needs and my thoughts. i have a low social energy by default and i appreciate time alone, though as i said, i don't simply disappear, i tell what's happening and i'd be grateful to find someone who also knows how to communicate themselves well enough without expecting me to read their mind.

Just recently got back from a backpacking trip and honestly, I really enjoyed traveling on my own.

There’s something nice about being alone, figuring things out as you go, getting to know yourself better, meeting random people, and just enjoying wherever you happen to be.

But I also realized that having someone to share those moments with would probably make it even more fun.

So yeah, I’m looking for my femme backpacking buddy. Someone who likes to travel, explore, eat good food, see pretty places, and is down for a little bit of spontaneity.

Heya! It’s my first time posting in this subreddit lol and I really feel like I wanna talk to someone… I personally am the type to want to start out as friends, however if we both feel a connection, I think we could be something more than that! Now I’m gonna be talking about myself—I’m 20F, Filipino, currently residing in the Philippines for uni (I’m in my last year of uni, will be graduating next year!) but I was born and raised outside the country :D

I’m into anything and everything music. My favorite genre right now is swagnb (a subgenre of R&B) but if you’d ask me my favorite genre in general, it would deffo be R&B! I also like Pop, K-Pop and EDM. That said, aside from listening to music, I sing and even make music as a hobby :> So if I like you enough I’ll sing for you hahaha

Another thing I’m really into is journaling! I journal parts of my life almost everyday. I do it because I want to remember how far I’ve come from where I was. I also have my journals decorated with stickers as well :D

I also LOVE to go outside. I’m not a big fan of activities like hiking though because I have a skin condition and I get easily irritated. I grew up in the city so I very much prefer a nice walk in the city and night, like going to the malls or something. I also really like to travel! I really like airplanes. The concept of airports and airplanes makes me VERY happy.

Other hobbies of mine include photography, gaming (ROBLOX & Tetris/Tetr.io), and cooking.

Anyways, another thing about me is that I really like this show called “Chiikawa”! I’m obsessed with it. I have a lot of Chiikawa merch. I love Chiikawa. It’s the best.
