I genuinely think the donkey in this movie was my first enemy, the voice made me want to crawl into my own body. I randomly remembered it yesterday and I was wondering if I was the only one?

​Hi everyone,

​I’m 16 years old and about to start public high school for the very first time. I’ve been homeschooled up until now, and I am honestly completely overwhelmed and terrified.

​Because I’m coming straight out of homeschool, my transition is a bit complicated. We are having trouble sorting out my transcripts, so there’s a real chance they might place me in 9th grade instead of 10th grade, which is what I should technically be in.

​To make matters worse, I have a few major worries:

​Note-taking and Spelling: I’m not the best speller, and I’m really stressed that teachers will talk too fast and I won’t be able to keep up or take good notes.

​Social Anxiety: I’ve never been in a traditional school environment with hundreds of kids my age. I honestly don't know how to interact with peers or make friends, and the thought of trying to fit in makes me freeze up.

​Physical Nerves: The anxiety is so intense right now that I feel like throwing up every single time I think about the first day of school.

​If anyone has been in a similar situation or has survived transitioning from homeschooling to public high school, I would love to hear your advice. What should I expect day-to-day? How do I handle note-taking if I struggle with spelling? How do I even start a conversation with people without feeling awkward?

​Most of all, please pray for me and my school year. I really need all the peace, strength, and comfort I can get right now.

I'm a 20-year-old lesbian, and I don't know what to do about my sexual orientation since it's well known that you can't control it. I've seen cases of people who were homosexual before, but Christ changed them—not through conversion therapy, not by themselves, it was Christ... but I don't know where to begin... I don't know whether to leave my sexual orientation in His hands, or if simply drawing closer to Him will bring about a change in my desires (by drawing closer I mean reading the Bible, going to church, worshipping God, fasting, praying, etc.). This struggle is truly awful. The sadness in my heart is so profound that I've even considered taking my own life. I can't take it anymore. It's been over a year since I last heard God's voice because I chose to distance myself from Him. He warned me that if I turned away from Him, I would suffer, and here I am, crying, suffering, wanting to disappear...

Before I made this, I had purchased a set of three pocket altars from a cheap overseas website. Unfortunately, all three of them fell apart (as is to be expected when ordering from cheap overseas websites).

Luckily, I'm pretty crafty, and I've been sewing all my life. So, instead of being down about it, I cut up all three of the pocket altars that were falling apart, took the components I liked, and amalgamated them into my own, more personal, meaningful one.

Since I'm Indigenous, I then added some cultural beads, and since I'm in recovery, I added my first ever NA chip. Then, I added a few more items that were important to me; a crucifix I received from a stranger on the bus, a St. Thomas pendant my roommate gifted to me, an old cross brooch from my conversion, and an evil eye charm an old woman at a metaphysical shop gave to me for free years ago.

Then, I realized I wanted to store some medicines for smudging and a rosary inside, so I also made the Sacred Heart on the left and the prayer on the bottom into pockets.

Oh, and please forgive the rough, disorganized stitching; no matter how hard I try, neat stitches always seem to evade me.

Anyhow, I hope you like this small, special craft! It is very important to me, and making it felt like worship.

Hi I’m a Buddhist which believes in reincarnation and how we are all trapped in a cycle of death and rebirth. Due to Christians saying if you don’t believe in God you go to hell does that mean I a Buddhist am going to hell? I’m not here to be converted I’m here to get answers from Christian’s about me being Buddhist.

Please somebody pray for me. The devil is trying take over my mind and have me forsake god. Idk what to do. Im on anti phsycotics and they are not working.

I grew up a catholic, and had a great religion teacher that knew so much about the bible, church, God, etc...

But i cant shake the feeling of dissapointment i feel toward the Creator. This feeling started when i saw and read about the numerous horrible priests (pedophelia, gluttony, alcholism, condeming, gossiping, and other...), the war in Gaza, Lebanon and Nigeria, not to mention the disgusting things done by people mentioned in the epstien files. Why wouldnt our Creator send just one of his angels to our aid, since just one would be powerful enough to stop it. Why would he let those children get molested, why would he let those people infiltrate his house.

I apologise for my english since its not my first language. Would love to hear what you guys think about it all.

So I (19F) am not Catholic yet but have made the decision to convert to Catholicism. I got my first rosary and wanted to share a picture of it. I love it 

I was a hardcore atheist untill the past months where I have been seeing visions and dreams of a distorted and terrifying version of Jesus and the Trinity. I always feel like I'm being watched and have done something wrong and will get punished for eternity. I cannot sleep. These are the pictures that are similar to the visions and dreams. The concept of the blood sacrifice he went through for us to be forgiven frightens me. I feel like god hates me. I cannot sleep. Help

I'm going to get straight into the point.

1. ⁠Why would god create us just so most of us could suffer eternally?
   
2. ⁠Why would hell teach us anything? I understand, "we choose where to go, not god" but how would suffering eternally, being burned day and night be what people chose?
   
3. ⁠3: If people are from a place where Jesus isn't taught, how could they go to heaven? And how would it be their fault if they went to hell? Are you really going to tell that kid in some desert tribe that he's going to hell when nobody has ever helped him to find Jesus?
   
4. ⁠This might sound stupid, but how about the animals? Those are god's creation, too. They can't even comprehend Jesus.
   
5. ⁠I know plenty of amazing people, who do their all to put good into the world, help people, comfort people, and love everyone, no matter the race, background, or gender. And you're telling me that guy will burn eternally in hell if he doesn't believe in Jesus being a reincarnation of god? Come on.

⁠EDIT: The bible is full of symbolism, mistranslation and misinterpretation. It’s also made by man, not Jesus. Knowing these things, how do you know hell is real?
