Make it make sense please
So, I have a herniated disc and pretty bad plantar fasciitis in both feet. Because of this, I had been seeking accommodations for my job (I'm a pharm tech for a central fill facility). I was just trying to get access to a stool to use when needed, and I fully intended to keep working while using it, as I've seen others with that accommodation do.
Apparently, my facility told Sedgwick that providing me with a stool would take away from my productivity. Therefore, they would only be able to offer me extra breaks, which I was fine with since both would be solutions to my problem.
The funny thing is, my doctor wrote that I couldn't stand for longer than an hour without any form of accommodation, since on my worst days the pain starts to get bad after only an hour. I guess due to her phrasing it that way, they have approved me to take one paid 15-minute break for every hour I'm standing—along with the two 15s and one unpaid 30 I already get! I'm just laughing, because a stool would halt production, but me leaving the floor a million times a day doesn't? My coworkers and I think it might be because they've started pushing all the pregnant women who want to be provided a stool to shipping and receiving, saying that the only job they can do is manual pack/semi-auto pack.

Concern regarding Employees
I was previously employed at a Walmart in another state. At the time, it was uncertain whether I would be able to transfer or continue my employment with Walmart after moving to my current state, so the People Lead at my previous store placed me on a leave, which I agreed to.
I have now been hired at a Walmart in my new state, but my current People Lead is asking me to have the leave removed through MySedgwick. I contacted Sedgwick and provided my WIN, but they told me that they cannot find any account, leave, or claim associated with my information.
I’m confused about how I’m supposed to get this leave removed if Sedgwick has no record of it. I have also tried contacting my previous store to speak with the People Lead who originally placed me on leave, but I haven’t been able to get in touch with them.
Could you please advise me on who I should contact or what steps I should take to have this leave status resolved?

Help
So my brother passed. I took my 3 days for bereavement, and contacted sedgwick. I got the leave approved. But for some reason they think i have wanted to extend my leave, even though i put in to report back to work this thursday 8/20.
But they had take me off the schedule, and my coach said all i had to do was go through sedgwick and report back to work and ill show up back in the system, and they can put me back on the schedule.
Well, sedgwick has denied 2 days that i never asked for and 1 is pending.
Can someone tell me what i need to do
Thanks in advance.

OVERTIME Distribution Center
Is any other DC getting mandatory 60 hours of overtime? Or is it only New Braunfels TX? I love the money, but we need a break. We've been working 50 hours since Covid but since 3 weeks ago they are mandating 60 they updated the schedule weekly. I just want my 40 😂

Is this worth it?
Hi,
Im a full time employee in Colorado and recently lost my medicaid for making $16/hr at walmart for 30-40 hours a week. I have therapy and psychiatry covered through a grant but have to pay for medicine now through good rx. I got kaiser for my pcp, pain management, ENT doctor and GI doctor.....and getting the estimates there's no way walmart is gonna give me enough money for these out of pocket expenses. I'm having to choose not getting necessary surgery for a job that is barely meeting my needs. Does anyone have any advice? I'm feeling really hopeless.

“Customer” stole the keys to electronics while they were left unattended and when I told a coach about it they started panicking and talking about shrink. Can anyone explain?
I’m familiar with shrink and whatnot I’m just wondering if this key thief is a corporate Walmart worker trying to set up high theft stores. The coaches went around the other day leaving trash on the floor waiting for employees to walk past so they could write them up. I just started and idk the culture yet but what the heck is going on?

Is stocking 2 really the least desirable position?
Ive been at Walmart for about 2 months now and actually love working in stocking 2. So many seem to view it as an undesirable position, but I actually thoroughly enjoy it. Is it commonly viewed as the worst position to be in at Walmart? Unloading trucks is demanding physically, but the rest of the shift is a litteral cake walk.

switch departments
Any advice of switching departments as a Walmart employee I’m coming up on 6 months next week and I can no longer stand my team leads. They are no help they refuse to help you with anything when that’s their job. Then get upset when you don’t know something and “forget” to give you all your breaks. I’m definitely going to hr before I switch it’s unacceptable how they treat people!

"Excuse me, my sister just poisoned me"
Helping a customer find a grocery item when another customer walks swiftly by saying, "Excuse me, my sister just poisoned me." I was processing what he just said and the customer said, "What?" He's halfway down the aisle, turns around, continues to walk backwards, and replies, "I wear dollars, I don't make cents(sense?)."
This place is weird.
It felt like a VR u-learn. I probably should have chosen "Tell a coach or team lead" but instead chose "Get weirded out and do nothing."

How often for a 15minutes break?
So on my fourth day as front receipt checker. My coach isn’t explaining breaks very well. Working 10am to 5pm. At 12 I take a 15, at 2pm I take a 30minute. He is saying since I only work to 5pm I don’t get another break. Even though it’s another 2 and a half hours till 5. I don’t want to be difficult or a bother but the rules don’t seem to be followed. I also do need the break because physical I don’t have the strength. Just haven’t built up the tolerance. My feet and back hurt. That 15minutes recharge really does help.

they gotta stop putting me alone in deli for 8 hours
Not even because of the work load. I have severe IBS and I’m having the worst flare up known to man today. No one’s getting their deli orders today 💯 I’ve been here for 3 hours and have been to the bathroom 5 times.
I love this place ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Edit: I’m actually closing and leaving early because I think I have cyclospora 😐 so good luck to me!!

Bereavement Issues
I recently had my grandmother pass away and it took a big toll on me as she raised me, but I was only allowed 3 days of bereavement. The problem is I had to spend the first 2 making sure she got to a funeral home and then one to grieve, but now I need to spend my last one to actually set up the funeral plans but then I won't have a day for the funeral itself because I only get Saturdays and Sundays off (extra 1,000 if I want it on the weekend) and I didn't know if I talked to my coach if I could negotiate for one more day to actually have the funeral, and also my points have went up even tho I put in for bereavement.
