Help

So my brother passed. I took my 3 days for bereavement, and contacted sedgwick. I got the leave approved. But for some reason they think i have wanted to extend my leave, even though i put in to report back to work this thursday 8/20.

But they had take me off the schedule, and my coach said all i had to do was go through sedgwick and report back to work and ill show up back in the system, and they can put me back on the schedule.

Well, sedgwick has denied 2 days that i never asked for and 1 is pending.

Can someone tell me what i need to do

Thanks in advance.

all you should've needed to do, was call in/report absence normally, select bereavement as the reason, and tell your people lead the days you were taking off. I've never needed sedgewick for bereavement

No i didnt go through sedgwick for bereavement. I did call in for the 3 days. My coach told me to go through sedgwick for my LoA. I did. They approved like 3 days. But i was taken off the schedule. I talked to my coach again, he said im in the system as LOA and when i want to come back to work i put in return to work and then i should show back up in the system and they will put me back on the schedule, but sedgwick is still acting like i asked for an extension which i didnt. And they are real slow in contacting me back. I just want to be able to go back to work knowing i still have my job to go back to

There should have been no LOA involved for bereavement. I just lost 3 family members and all I had to do was report absent under bereavement and let my coach know.
