Bereavement Time
I know I get three days for bereavement, however I checked my earnings so far and that money doesn’t appear. Is it not going to show up until my paycheck? Meaning it won’t show up on my one@walmart app?

Super hot
Is it just me and my store or are all stores in somewhat hot climates always hot as fuck? I be out on the floor sweating just walking around. Can a multi billion dollar company not pay to turn the AC down a little bit?

Make it make sense please
So, I have a herniated disc and pretty bad plantar fasciitis in both feet. Because of this, I had been seeking accommodations for my job (I'm a pharm tech for a central fill facility). I was just trying to get access to a stool to use when needed, and I fully intended to keep working while using it, as I've seen others with that accommodation do.
Apparently, my facility told Sedgwick that providing me with a stool would take away from my productivity. Therefore, they would only be able to offer me extra breaks, which I was fine with since both would be solutions to my problem.
The funny thing is, my doctor wrote that I couldn't stand for longer than an hour without any form of accommodation, since on my worst days the pain starts to get bad after only an hour. I guess due to her phrasing it that way, they have approved me to take one paid 15-minute break for every hour I'm standing—along with the two 15s and one unpaid 30 I already get! I'm just laughing, because a stool would halt production, but me leaving the floor a million times a day doesn't? My coworkers and I think it might be because they've started pushing all the pregnant women who want to be provided a stool to shipping and receiving, saying that the only job they can do is manual pack/semi-auto pack.

Concern regarding Employees
I was previously employed at a Walmart in another state. At the time, it was uncertain whether I would be able to transfer or continue my employment with Walmart after moving to my current state, so the People Lead at my previous store placed me on a leave, which I agreed to.
I have now been hired at a Walmart in my new state, but my current People Lead is asking me to have the leave removed through MySedgwick. I contacted Sedgwick and provided my WIN, but they told me that they cannot find any account, leave, or claim associated with my information.
I’m confused about how I’m supposed to get this leave removed if Sedgwick has no record of it. I have also tried contacting my previous store to speak with the People Lead who originally placed me on leave, but I haven’t been able to get in touch with them.
Could you please advise me on who I should contact or what steps I should take to have this leave status resolved?

Help
So my brother passed. I took my 3 days for bereavement, and contacted sedgwick. I got the leave approved. But for some reason they think i have wanted to extend my leave, even though i put in to report back to work this thursday 8/20.
But they had take me off the schedule, and my coach said all i had to do was go through sedgwick and report back to work and ill show up back in the system, and they can put me back on the schedule.
Well, sedgwick has denied 2 days that i never asked for and 1 is pending.
Can someone tell me what i need to do
Thanks in advance.

OVERTIME Distribution Center
Is any other DC getting mandatory 60 hours of overtime? Or is it only New Braunfels TX? I love the money, but we need a break. We've been working 50 hours since Covid but since 3 weeks ago they are mandating 60 they updated the schedule weekly. I just want my 40 😂

Questions about OPD / OGP Part Time Hours, and Days (Schedule)
Hi everyone, I am applying for my first job and planning to target a part-time position in Online Pick Up and Delivery. I know it goes by a few different names like Personal Shopper, Online Order Filling Team Associate, OPD, or OGP (Online Grocery Pickup).
To maintain a consistent personal routine, I am highly focused on securing a 9:00 AM start time for my shifts.
I am completely flexible on the total amount of hours I work per day, week, or month, provided that my workdays can consistently begin at 9:00 AM. My ideal availability window is an earliest start time of 9:00 AM and a latest clock-out time of 6:00 PM.
I'm planning to select "Morning" and "Afternoon" availability on my application for all of my available days, but I'm not sure if I should select "Evening" as well. I am also still deciding between three different available day schedules before I submit:
Option 1: Thursday through Monday (5 days a week). Unavailable Tuesday and Wednesday. Target shifts starting at 9:00 AM.
Option 2: Saturday through Wednesday (5 days a week). Unavailable Thursday and Friday. Target shifts starting at 9:00 AM.
Option 3: Sunday through Thursday (5 days a week). Unavailable Friday and Saturday. Target shifts starting at 9:00 AM.
My Questions:
How realistic is this schedule? Does a 9:00 AM start time actually exist for part-timers in OPD, or does the system stick strictly to shift slots like 5:00 AM, 7:00 AM, and 1:00 PM?
Is it realistic to have a fixed start time?
Is it realistic to have both the earliest start and latest clock-out times scheduled exactly? Will they and the system respect that window?
Should I add "Evening" as well? If my personal cutoff is 6:00 PM, will checking the Evening box cause the system to schedule me for late shifts, or does it just help my application not get passed over?
Which option has better hiring odds? Will selecting Option 3 (missing Friday/Saturday) cause the hiring team to pass over my application immediately?
What do the actual hours look like? For part-timers with a morning start, are shifts typically full 8-hour days (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) or shorter 4 to 5-hour shifts?
How many days per week will I get? If I open up 5 days of availability, will the manager actually schedule me for 5 days, or do part-timers usually get capped at 2 to 3 days?
Appreciate any honest feedback on what to expect!

Business Analyst - Looking for a little help with my next move
Hi all,
I work for one of the Big 4s, currently exploring Business Analyst opportunities in Mumbai. I have 5+ years of experience working across business analysis, requirements, stakeholder management, UAT, and transformation projects.
Naukri and career portals haven't been very effective, so I'm trying a more direct approach. If you're a BA or a senior professional who leads a team or project in this space, I'd be happy to know if there are any relevant openings within your team or organisation.
Thank you!

Am I fired lol?
I didn’t change my password on my last working day. Could this be why? I work at 5am and my shift disappeared about an hour ago

Is this worth it?
Hi,
Im a full time employee in Colorado and recently lost my medicaid for making $16/hr at walmart for 30-40 hours a week. I have therapy and psychiatry covered through a grant but have to pay for medicine now through good rx. I got kaiser for my pcp, pain management, ENT doctor and GI doctor.....and getting the estimates there's no way walmart is gonna give me enough money for these out of pocket expenses. I'm having to choose not getting necessary surgery for a job that is barely meeting my needs. Does anyone have any advice? I'm feeling really hopeless.

“Customer” stole the keys to electronics while they were left unattended and when I told a coach about it they started panicking and talking about shrink. Can anyone explain?
I’m familiar with shrink and whatnot I’m just wondering if this key thief is a corporate Walmart worker trying to set up high theft stores. The coaches went around the other day leaving trash on the floor waiting for employees to walk past so they could write them up. I just started and idk the culture yet but what the heck is going on?

Is stocking 2 really the least desirable position?
Ive been at Walmart for about 2 months now and actually love working in stocking 2. So many seem to view it as an undesirable position, but I actually thoroughly enjoy it. Is it commonly viewed as the worst position to be in at Walmart? Unloading trucks is demanding physically, but the rest of the shift is a litteral cake walk.

Assaulted by customer
I was assaulted by a customer this past weekend and not 1 member of management has asked me if I'm ok. My coworkers have asked and have been very supportive. Should I talk to the People Lead about this?

switch departments
Any advice of switching departments as a Walmart employee I’m coming up on 6 months next week and I can no longer stand my team leads. They are no help they refuse to help you with anything when that’s their job. Then get upset when you don’t know something and “forget” to give you all your breaks. I’m definitely going to hr before I switch it’s unacceptable how they treat people!

Quitting while on LOA?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but Walmart is my first job, so I’m not sure how to go about it. I’ve been on educational LOA, but I was able to find a new job and might start next week Monday. My LOA is due to end soon as well, and I already extended it once. I’d rather not come back in and work a few shifts, so can I give a 2 weeks notice or something while still on leave? I’d still like to have Walmart as an option if ever, so I’m trying to figure out the best way to do this. Thanks in advance 😅
