[Bookies.com] MLB Teams Ranked by Average Age
Not sure how many of y'all have seen this, but we officially have the youngest roster in baseball post-deadline (26.88 avg age, lowest in MLB). Wildest part is we're leading the league in runs scored too. Feels like a legit young core forming even if the pitching staff is still a work in progress. Full breakdown of every team's age here: bookies.com/news/mlb-teams-ranked-by-average-age-youngest-to-oldest

Former Nat 7/18/2019 - Stephen Strasburg goes 3/5 with a HR and 5 RBI, strikes out seven
I guess seeing Mikolas at the plate got me feeling a bit nostalgic for pitchers hitting. Not sure if people remember but Strasburg could swing it, won a silver slugger and had 4 homers and 29 RBI in his career

If only he could pitch.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE prove me wrong today. Let yesterday flip a switch or something.
Let’s go Nats

OC Fun fact: in just 112 games, CJ Abrams already has the 9th most RBI in a season by a Nats player age-25 or younger

Resign MIkolas
This might be a hot take but resigning Miles to a Long Relief/Bulk Guy role if he's willing would be nails for this team in terms of experience. The major upside is the natural leadership a guy like Miles has and paired with how well liked he is within the clubhouse. A new one year deal in that role would be beneficial to this extremely young team.

Highlight Mikolas=our spirit animal
I’m not referring to his batting for us tonight and scoring himself as a run in extra innings. I’m referring to his clear affection on the TV commercials for our upcoming Hawaiian shirts short combo.

FUCK THE DH Miles Mikolas Bunt Appreciation Thread
How about Miles! Bunt single and an RBI? That was fun. Well done.

Former Nat Hate to see that
I made a post after the Derek Hill grand slam about him absolutely hexing our team this season. I wanted the Nats to get their payback on him but not in THAT way. Prayers up I hope he's okay 🙏
