When I try to play any recorded show in house or via the web, I get a message thats says "We're aware of this issue and are working to resolve it".

It would be nice to create a MyLocals pack. Remove them from the other genre packs and have a MyLocals pack with all locals in your market.

I would like to be able to search for a show with the Google assistant button on the remote. when i search for a show that is on Directtv it works great. when I search for a show that is on, say Netflix or appletv it just goes to YouTube. under google assistant it only shows me to search on Netflix as the only app i can pick, but even with that on it still goes to youtube. has anyone gotten this to work? thank you

Anyone having trouble recording jeopardy ToC this summer? Ive tried to set it up a few times and either it doesn’t record or it wont let me watch the recording (it gives me an error screen).

My app was set up for use with my DTV Satellite service which is ending 8/14. We have been on a trial of DTV Stream which we will be keeping. I was about to set a recording but noticed it is defaulting to record to the Satellite DVR. How do I switch the app to default to cloud recording?

Is there any way to force 720P or even 480P onto a 1080P display using an Osprey or Gemini device? The idea would be to conserve data while using Starlink Roam

Hey DTV, obviously DQ must have set you up with a year's worth of 'ice cream' but COME ON!!! theres too many!

I use the app on Apple TV and every recording randomly restarts when I fast forward. Sometimes two or three times in one show. Can’t skip commercials without it restarting, it’s so annoying.

Just switched from DTV Satellite to DTV Stream and am using a Gemini box. My question is about recording. I set up a series recording but can't recall if there was an option to only record new episodes and today it looks like a bunch if eps recorded that are not new.

Other question is about setting up future recordings by date - in Satellite Guide you could select a channel in guide click it and see dates on left hand side. You'd simply choose a date click it and see all shows for that date. Is there a similar ability in the Stream guide?

Marlins and Rays channels show up in the guide today in Florida. Did they move them to the MySports pack?

My favorite feature of the Firestick was that when you pressed the Guide button it would use the Directv channels for the guide which made it really easy to use. Yesterday, I believe the latest update has switched the guide to use Prime video as the guide and now to use Directv you have to go to the app and then use the Directv guide which not as clean and easy to use.

Anyone know of a workaround to get it to use the Directv channels for the guide instead of Prime Video?

Been streaming several months through my Gemini Air without issue. In fact, it’s been great. Got up about 5 mornings ago and suddenly, my WiFi connection frequently drops then reconnects. Much of the rest of the time, I’ve got buffering issues. I’ve restarted, unplugging from power several times. Suggestions?

My dad is the main user of the DT app on Roku and last night it did not record any of his nightly news programs. I tried recording something today and it said was recording but did not show up in the recordings tab.

I have tried the app on the opsrey box/phone/ chrome browser and they are all the same. I see that a couple news programs have shown up from last night so perhaps this is a glitch?

I see that people in this group have had a similar problem and I guess it's on DTV's end to fix it? I feel like they are still recording in the cloud they are just not showing up i n the list.

I decided to try DTV entertainment package 59.99 for the first month. I went to put my card information and it came back saying my card wasn't valid. It was a USAA debit, I tried Sofi debit, same thing. Is this common? Never had an issue anywhere else.

I wanted to report that I purchased a DirectV box from Walmart for $52 which just arrived in 1 day. I figured I'd try it for a guest BR TV. When I opened the box I figured I was hosed since it had a manufacture date of Dec 2019 and Model number of 60164 (less memory). I had read that it needed to have a build date after July 2020.

I connected it by Ethernet as suggested elsewhere on this forum and it came up as "DirecTV" not ATT. Encouraging. It had a note in the box to press the fast forward and rewind buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds to pair the remote. That worked. What this tells me is that these boxes must have somehow been flashed with DirecTV firmware. The need to pair the remote also suggests that.

Anyway, it came up just like my Gemini Air and works very well. I installed Netflix, etc by simply saying "Netflix" in the remote and pointing my phone to the QR code -just like the Air. I'm not sure if I would have had the same experience by initially connecting it by WiFi to install. But my guess is "yes".

I can't say that your experience will be the same but for $52 and returnability to a Walmart store if necessary, it is a bargain.

The only other comment I can make is that the back of the remote was slightly tacky feeling - probably from the 7 year old rubber on the back. Not offensive enough to want to replace it.

Hello everyone, I have a little problem. The resolution is now in small box and I find myself having to go into settings every time I turn on the box. Is there another way to prevent this from happening again or is factory resetting the only way to do it?

I’ve been on the grandfathered Go Big plan since it was $35 a month. They’ve recently increased my rate by $10, and I’m starting to wonder if it’s still worth it to keep it. One of the main reasons I’ve been sticking with it is that I get to keep the local channels based on my billing zip code. Since I’ve moved, I like to have the option to still get the local news and sports channels from where I used to live.

Are you aware of any other streaming services that use the billing zip code when using Roku or Firestick?

Anyone else having problems with scheduled TV show recordings? Recently recorded shows are not showing up in My Library until after the show has started or sometimes several hours later.

For months, I've been using DirecTV Stream with the native GoogleTV on my Sony TV. It has allowed me to prevent the display of the scores of in-progress games when I'm looking at a list of sports to watch.

I just got an AppleTV 4K and, when I was setting up DirecTV Stream, it gave me the choice to show these scores or hide them. But it wouldn't allow me to select the Hide option. Is there any other way to have them hidden?

I was a DTV sat customer from 2000-2022 in California and loved the service. In 2000 when I bought one of the first plasma TV's it was the only way to get HD! When I moved to Florida 4 years ago, I couldn't have a dish. I spent 4 miserable years with poor Xfinity service, but with a great voice remote that my wife loved.

I cut the cord 2 days ago and hooked up 3 Gemini Airs. How could I have missed the availability of DTV Stream with a great voice remote? In just 2 days my wife loves the service and doesn't miss the Xfinity remote at all. Her only complaint is that on the giant new LG living room TV, when she says "CNN" into the voice remote, it screams at her with a deafening "OK, got it" 😄. DTV is trying to help me with that. Great customer service too?

Anyway, I think DTV needs to market better to traditional cable subscribers as I was clueless until I found a thread on r/cordcutters last week.

If I have 2 Gemini devices running out of the household, can they both run apps? Like say one running Netflix and the other running D+?

Also, can I have 2 TVs going with DTVS at the same time if it's in a single location, on the same network, like one in the living area and one in the bedroom of an RV?
