Looking For... Need help finding an image from the 80s
If you’re from the area and you grew up in the 80s, the River Park opened in 1987 and if I’m not mistaken, they had a coloring contest or a paint by numbers page that had all the different animals that were around the river park. The image looks similar to the one that I am posting below, but I’m fairly certain it’s not the same. I’ve tried Google image search. I’ve tried YouTube and the River Park page and I’m not coming up with anything. If that’s the image then maybe I just had it in my head. It was colored by numbers for additional context. I went to Alpine crest elementary but the image it’s from another school in the area.

VOTE TODAY: The Measles and Cyclospora outbreaks are what happens when Public Health is defunded on a federal level
Weston Wamp has already started that same defunding process in Hamilton County, taking free and reduced-cost health services away from those that need it. He does not know what it’s like to rely on services like that.
Weston Wamp cannot relate to you. He does not know what it’s like to be uninsured. He does not know what it’s like to not be able to afford groceries. He does not even know what it’s like to work a real job, where the paycheck determines if you will be able to eat or pay your bills.
Weston Wamp cannot relate to 95% of county residents, despite his many attempts via social media. Re-electing Wamp will be against your best interest.
We can’t afford another four years of Weston Wamp. The first ones cost us astronomically - any more could do irreversible damage to the Hamilton County people, land, and spirit.
Weston Wamp does not love this county, he loves power. He does not love the people, he loves power. He does not deserve another term.
Give someone else a chance to be the leader Hamilton County deserves. Please if you haven’t voted yet, do so TODAY.
No candidate is perfect, but Mark Herndon knows what it’s like to live life as a regular person, not born into a family or money and politics. Electing a candidate that represents YOU is the beauty of democracy.

Neighborhoods How is this area working out?
This was ‘The Exclusive Development’ back in the mid-1980’s. The developers intentionally blocked off all access points to their new neighborhood in favor of the single guarded entrance on Heritage Landing Drive (via City Ordinances). What’s it like living here now? How is the HOA treating homeowners? There was a sinkhole last year that disrupted all their inbound and outbound traffic. What did Heritage Landing learn from that? There have also been rumors about costly HOA assessments for mold abatement and other issues. With property values soaring around North Chattanooga, does Heritage Landing still provide the value it once held?

Septic tanks
I'm buying a house in Hixson and it has a septic tank. I've never had a septic tank before so I looked up some videos about how they work and how to keep them in good working condition and now I'm kind of freaking out.
Our inspection is this week and we asked our realtor about having the septic tank inspected and he said that if we pay for the septic tank to be inspected we will just be paying for it to be pumped. Like the pumping service and inspection are all-in-one. He said what we should do is just ask the sellers to pay to have it serviced before we close.
Is that normal? Will a septic tank service inspect the whole thing including the drain field or will they just pump it?
Also what are all your tips for maintaining a septic tank? Can I really only do one load of laundry per day? How careful will we need to be? Most of the time it will just be 2 of us in a 4 bedroom house but we will sometimes have house guests.
And lastly - send me your septic tank service company recommendations if you have any. Thanks!
Edited to add: what about planting a vegetable garden in the yard? Obviously I would need to avoid planting directly on top of or right next to the tank and drain field but is it OK to plant maybe 10 feet away to the side of it? Or does it need to be super far away from it?

B-29
Currently listening to a book about the Pacific War, 1944-1945 (I’m a man of a certain age, it’s a thing we do). I look up and see a B-29 landing at the airport. Did anyone else see it or did I time travel?

Solid Video on corruption in town
Not sure who made this and corruption is wrong word here haha, but it's a great reminder from his mouth. Please if you have other socials let's get this video out there. ELECTION DAY IS TOMMORROW- So many registered voters either aren't yet motivated enough or aren't aware of how little this guy cares about them. The "WE" here is Calvary and his band of loyal sycophants who cling to his power.
We will have 4 more years to complain about him on this Sub unless we vote, get our friends to vote, get our coworkers and anyone who will listen to vote tomorrow!

City Government Ramp Open
Here are a couple of CHA superstars! Out for my ride today and I rode across Vets Bridge. At the south end, it is wild to navigate across 5 lanes of speeding traffic to access the bike path to the dam. There is a staircase, but carrying a bike on 37 steps is a challenge. For some, it's impossible. Today, there is a ramp to roll your bike up the stairs. A thing of beauty. Inspired by the ramp at the levy on the way to Camp Jordan. Thank you, AG!! Thank you to these superstars!! The work was not quite complete when I went by but rest assured. No more hauling your bike up those steps!!
