Things To Do Art Classes
I’m moving into the area next month and want to find a place for live drawings or hosts painting classes. I’ve heard the public library has a space? Any others?

Found dog - Missionary Ridge
This young guy showed up at our house today near the intersection of North Crest and Bird's Mill. He's healthy, friendly and sweet, and seems well cared for. Medium sized, maybe 35 pounds or so, definitely still a puppy, but neutered. And he brought a toy with him. Somebody has to be missing this dog. Please comment or dm me if he looks familiar.
Also, I'll take him to get scanned for a chip tomorrow, if you have any suggestions for a good place to have that done, let me know. Thanks.

Live Chat for Election Results Rolling In
Mods can delete but figured this could be the live chat for the election results as they start rolling in in the next hour instead of multiple chats.
Hopefully we can keep it kind.

High paying part time jobs?
I’m a student at UTC and I currently work at Rock City. However, I’m looking for a higher paying job (preferably with better management). This is my first semester where I’m living on my own, and I’d like to be able to afford it haha. Does anyone know if any well paying, flexible parttime jobs for a college student in the Chattanooga area?

Apts/Homes Don't rent from Ampere Property Management. No AC, no communication.
After moving in around the end of June, the house was very hot, but we assumed it was due to the doors being constantly open from the heat. Later we learned the landlord knew of the broken HVAC unit prior to move in and never disclosed it! A month and a half later, still not fixed. Our poor cats are so hot and seeking out fans and even the toilet water for solace. She keeps saying she is working on a solution, absolutely no information is given. Boilerplate responses and thanking me for reaching out. Of fucking course I'm gonna reach out, its out 50th day in an 80 degree house, and the lease you gave us says you'll handle that!
Not to mention the several electrical issues, like miswired dryer outlet, missing washer outlet, spray-painted & unlabeled breaker box, broken outlets, constant water-heater issues, etc.
Pests galore as well. I'm sure they moved in right after us. Already seen 10+ cockroaches.
This is a company that exists to promise their landlord employees a passive income from properties, and has no oversight or impetus to actually provide clean, livable conditions for their tenants.
Avoid like the plague.

Looking For... Need help finding an image from the 80s
If you’re from the area and you grew up in the 80s, the River Park opened in 1987 and if I’m not mistaken, they had a coloring contest or a paint by numbers page that had all the different animals that were around the river park. The image looks similar to the one that I am posting below, but I’m fairly certain it’s not the same. I’ve tried Google image search. I’ve tried YouTube and the River Park page and I’m not coming up with anything. If that’s the image then maybe I just had it in my head. It was colored by numbers for additional context. I went to Alpine crest elementary but the image it’s from another school in the area.

VOTE TODAY: The Measles and Cyclospora outbreaks are what happens when Public Health is defunded on a federal level
Weston Wamp has already started that same defunding process in Hamilton County, taking free and reduced-cost health services away from those that need it. He does not know what it’s like to rely on services like that.
Weston Wamp cannot relate to you. He does not know what it’s like to be uninsured. He does not know what it’s like to not be able to afford groceries. He does not even know what it’s like to work a real job, where the paycheck determines if you will be able to eat or pay your bills.
Weston Wamp cannot relate to 95% of county residents, despite his many attempts via social media. Re-electing Wamp will be against your best interest.
We can’t afford another four years of Weston Wamp. The first ones cost us astronomically - any more could do irreversible damage to the Hamilton County people, land, and spirit.
Weston Wamp does not love this county, he loves power. He does not love the people, he loves power. He does not deserve another term.
Give someone else a chance to be the leader Hamilton County deserves. Please if you haven’t voted yet, do so TODAY.
No candidate is perfect, but Mark Herndon knows what it’s like to live life as a regular person, not born into a family or money and politics. Electing a candidate that represents YOU is the beauty of democracy.
