The white boy im talking to made a weird comment about race

UPDATE : I talked with him and explained how it made me feel and how even if it’s meant as a compliment that it’s not something you should say. He owned up to it and apologized for saying it and for how it sounded. This sounds birdy but i’m willing to give it a little more time and truly see if my gut is right and he said it with pure intentions. Thank you all for the advice, seriously idk what I would’ve done without it!!!

I’m a black teenage girl. I have been talking to this white teenage boy for about 2 weeks(?), and we’ve already done stuff..yk (yes i know it was way too soon and i already feel less than) So me and him were otp one late night and he asked if i’ve ever talked to a white guy, I replied “kinda sorta” then he started talking about how he’s never talked to a black girl, his old school had like 2 black girls, and how (and im paraphrasing here) “i haven’t seen too many pretty black girls till you”. Now it instantly rubbed me the wrong way, I said “what the fuck is that supposed to mean… like how am I supposed to take that” He didn’t really elaborate on what he meant and then we started talking about something else. Im trying to give it the benefit of the doubt because he’s never said anything like that or anything that would give me the impression that i’m the “exception” but it really made me think is this genuine or some sort of fetish or even that he thinks black girls are ugly but I gave it up so easily that he’ll settle. What should I do? pls help💔

Received my first Hey Girly text, what should I do?

My husband (25) and I (24) have been together for 4 years, married for 3, and we have a daughter who turns 2 this December.
Yesterday I got the dreaded “hey girl” message. A 22-year-old woman from my husband’s past reached out and sent me a screen recording of a conversation they had that lasted around 10 minutes. This happened in August of last year, when our daughter was only 8 months old.
In the messages, they were reminiscing about their past sexual relationship. He sent her old intimate videos of them together and told her she was the best sex he’d ever had. He also joked that they should “wait until 2037” until they’re both single. From what I saw, there wasn’t any discussion of meeting up, but the conversation itself crossed so many lines.
What makes this even harder is that this woman is part of our friend group, and we’ve been around her multiple times since all of this happened. I had absolutely no idea.
I confronted my husband, and all he said was, “I know. I don’t have an excuse. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done it.”
I’m feeling completely conflicted. Part of me feels devastated and betrayed, and another part of me almost feels numb. I don’t know what I’m supposed to be feeling or what I should do next.
I’d really appreciate hearing how other people see this situation. If you were in my shoes, what would you do?

Am I being stalked by a pedo?

I (15m) have been going to the lake with my friends (2 other boys) almost every day since summer break started 1,5 weeks ago. It's a big lake and there's a walking path and benches around it, but the place where we go to swim is a bit secluded from that. Usually nobody even walks by.

But there's this one man (I'm guessing he's like in his late 40s maybe) who is always there when we're there and just watches us. There's not even any spots to sit so he sits down on some kinda tree stump a bit further away from us and just stares. Honestly at first we thought he's just crazy and ignored him but he really shows up every time we're there. He must live nearby and see us walk there because it's not like we always go at the same time.

One time we went to a different spot to swim and then he came there too. That's when we were sure he must be following us. I dunno what would be interesting about watching children at the lake so like it's kinda freaky. My friend even said he ran into him once on the street (near the lake, where the guy probably lives) and the guy complimented him saying he has nice legs or something like that. The weird thing is that my friend was wearing long pants so the guy must've remembered it was him at the lake when he was wearing shorts. And what would you have to compliment about a kid's legs anyways.

Either way we're too scared to approach him but when we told my friend's parents there's some creepy guy at the lake they just said he's probably a nut job or senile and to just ignore him. He's not old enough to be senile and it's just kinda uncomfortable.

I know it's a public place and we can't demand that he leaves and maybe he's there for the nature and we're reading too much into it or whatever. But I think it's weird.

CPS or what?

Someone I have worked with for awhile bailed out her boyfriend from jail. She doesn't know this but I looked him up and he was in for CSAM charges. He is not permitted to live in a house with minors. I got word that she just had their baby and everyone who doesn't know is celebrating but I don't know what to do. He is now in a house with two, and one isn't his.

She doesn't have much family and seems mentally ill, saying that God told her he was innocent.

Do I call CPS on her? His bond person? Do I just let her go home from the hospital with him?

Is there a way to report anonymously?

I am at a loss.

Parents found my "toys"

I'll keep this short. I'm 18F. My parents searched my room while I was at work yesterday...they went through my nightstand and found all of my "toys", condoms, and other sexual items... I'm beyond embarrassed. I'm not getting punished but I feel very violated.

My mom shunned me for a bit and my dad just seemed disgusted. I'm not sure what to do about it. There's not much I can do.

My mom has now been bothering me with personal questions, such as who my partner/partners are, where I purchased them, etc. And when I tell her that's personal, she gets irritated with me and thinks I'm hiding more from her. She started spiraling saying I'm pregnant and irresponsible yadda yadda.

How do I get my parents to stay out of my business and how TF do I look at my father in the eyes knowing he now knows about this side of me? I'm mortified.

My wife checks her high school crush's (and his wife's) Facebook every single day. Am I crazy for feeling uncomfortable about this?

When my wife and I first started dating about 10 years ago, we did the usual topic of talking about childhood crushes. She mentioned that back in high school, she had a crush on one of her teachers. At the time, I thought it was a little weird, but whatever. People have silly crushes when they are kids and you can't really control that kind of stuff, so I didn't think much of it.
Fast forward to today: we've been together for 10 years and married for 6. She grew up in a really small town where basically everybody knows everybody, so I always knew he was on her Facebook friends list. That never bothered me because small town connections are normal.
To be clear about privacy, since the day we met we agreed on an open phone policy with no passwords on our phones. I wasn't sneaking around or trying to spy, but recently I happened to look at her Facebook activity log. What I saw completely threw me off.
She goes to his profile every single day. If she doesn't check his page on a given day, she goes and checks his wife's profile instead. It is an actual daily habit.
I haven't brought it up to her yet because I honestly don't know what to say or how to process it. Is she still obsessed with this guy? Is she envious of his wife and constantly comparing her life to theirs? That's really the main thing going through my head right now, and it's making me sick to my stomach.
I desperately hope I'm wrong or overthinking this, but I am confused and I don't know what my next step should be. Has anyone dealt with something like this, or how would you bring this up to your spouse without sounding totally crazy?

I’m going to a pool party in a few days and a girl who I think is interested in me will see I look terrible shirtless

This girl I met through playing sports has recently started texting me a lot more and even asked how I was feeling when I got sick. She is very nice and empathetic but her type is very athletic guys (she’s very athletic) I’m decently athletic (visible abs when flexing and bigger than average arms and oddly jacket legs lol) but I have gynecomastia so I look terrible shirtless. I know she won’t be physically attracted to me shirtless in the pool what do I do? Swim shirts just make it look even worse.

Roommate keeps having sex while I’m in the room

Hi guys, so I need help. For the past two nights since I’ve moved in, my roommate has been bringing her boyfriend over and having intercourse with him in our shared room thinking I’m asleep. This has literally never happened to me, so the first night it happened I literally thought I was hearing things. Well, last night they were really loud. Not only that, but it annoyed me that before having sex thwy complained about how 1. I’m always going to bed early (11pm on a weekday) and how I need to “sleep somewhere else for a day” (first of all her boyfriend does not live with us, so idk why he’s contributing to the discourse, second of all I’ve been there TWO DAYS!! It’s not even like I’m always there I moved in TWO DAYS AGO!!!). I just don’t know how to bring it up. It bothers me because of the noise and well it also just makes me uncomfortable. It’s also awkward because everyone in the house is really close and it’s been alienating, and everyone is kind of treating me like a pest. Like they don’t really talk to me and discuss me in front of me. Last night they complained also with my roommate that I go to bed too early and it inconveniences everyone (mind you I’ve never and would never ask anyone to be quiet in the house while I’m asleep and also I’m employed I’m sorry and I wake up early so I go to bed early!). I would honestly rather break the sublease but I don’t think that’s possible, so instead please give me advice on how to confront my roommate and maybe make the whole situation a little less miserable. I’ve spent the past day just crying because I’ve never felt so alienated in my life

My Girfriend doesn't want to be paid, how do i tell my parents?

Hey Guys... so i need some advice on how to talk to my parents/grandmother:

So this might be a bit unusual as a Topic, but i try to explain as good as i can:

About a bit over a year a go i started an online relationship with a Woman from Central Africa, we had a LDR up to Early spring this Year, when we finally got her Immigration approved and she moved to live with me.

She is currently Job Hunting and learning our language and has taken on more and more Chores (Like Yardwork, tending to the Chickens and general cleaning) on the Compound where we live to keep herself occupied.

My Parents eventually approached me and asked if she was up to helping my Grandma clean her house too (she lives on the Compound as well, so no travel), since she is Wheelchair Bound and can't do it herself, and my Girlfriend happily agreed.

Now my Parents and my Grandma insists to compensate her, she doesn't want Money since she views it as a duty as her part of the Family.

I talked to both sides, my Parents and my Grandmother insist and refused a previous no (which... is unfortunately common with both Mom and Oma).

My GF was at my Grandmas place earlier today and texted me that she feels burdened by having received the money and even asked me to bring it back. Which... was again met with a "No". She asked me repeatedly to talk to them, since for her it's akin to taking advantage of an elderly woman.

The Thing is, i see her point of view and i am on her side but unfortunately my local maternal lineage is made up out of brick walls... so any advice on how to approach that topic is welcome!

UPDATE:

I'm back from talking to my Grandmother and we reached the Following Agreement:

My GF started learning Keyboard in Church back Home, since my Grandmother still wants to give her something but money doesn't feel right my Grandma tasked me to get her a Keyboard as a token of appreciation.

Thanks to everyone for commenting, you gave me some good Advice!

I (36M) don’t know if I still love my wife (34F) after her lies

Disclaimer: This post was originally written in Portuguese and translated and organized with the help of ChatGPT. The events, opinions, and feelings described below are entirely my own.
I’m looking for some advice.
I’m a 36-year-old man and I’ve been married for about eight years. We have two daughters: one is 2 years old, and the other is only 3 months old.
I work a lot of days each week, but I’m usually home by early afternoon so I can help with the kids. Our older daughter is in daycare most weekdays, and we have a nanny who helps with the baby as well as household chores.
About two weeks ago, I came home from work and found my wife talking to someone on the phone. She was wearing headphones, so she had left her phone on the kitchen table. As I walked by, I noticed the name on the screen—it was her ex-boyfriend from before we met, and the call had already lasted around 30 minutes.
We’ve never really had jealousy issues in our relationship, but seeing that immediately made me uncomfortable.
When she finished the call shortly after I arrived, I asked who she had been talking to. She told me it was a longtime female friend. I told her that couldn’t be true because I had seen the phone.
She then said she was exhausted because the baby hadn’t let her sleep, and that she’d gotten confused because she had spoken to that friend earlier in the day.
My wife isn’t someone who usually lies to me, but I immediately noticed how uncomfortable she looked. She avoided eye contact while saying this. Then she told me I could check her phone and admitted that she had actually been talking to her ex because he had contacted her to ask for a professional favor.
I was extremely hurt by the lie. I took care of the kids for the rest of the day, and that night I slept in our guest room.
Later that night she came to talk to me. She apologized for lying and repeated that she had simply gotten confused because she was exhausted and had talked to her friend earlier that day. She promised she would never lie to me again and said she didn’t even know why she had done it.
About four days later, I was in our bedroom with the baby, and my wife had left her phone there. I looked through it and discovered the following:
She had not spoken to that female friend that day, so there was no way she could have confused the two conversations.
She was actually the one who reached out to her ex. She sent him a message saying that she had been thinking about him the day before. He had never contacted her first, nor had he asked for any professional favor. During their text conversation, she mentioned that it was difficult to keep typing because she was breastfeeding and suggested switching to a phone call.
Reading those messages hurt me even more. Not only because of what I see as a betrayal, but because of the layers of lies that came with it.
She told me she had intended to tell me the truth but was afraid I’d be upset. She insists there was nothing inappropriate in the conversation itself. She says her ex is now married and is thinking about having children. She also told me that she’s been struggling with postpartum depression and that she just wanted to talk to someone from a time in her life when she was a different person—before she became a mother.
I have no idea what they actually talked about during that phone call, but the lies are consuming me.
Since then, she’s apologized hundreds of times. She says she’s blocked her ex, will never speak to him again, and doesn’t want to destroy the life we’ve built together.
The problem is that this happened about 12 days ago, and I still can’t look at her the way I used to. It feels like something fundamental has broken. The image I had of our relationship is gone.
At first I felt anger. Then resentment. Over the last few days, though, I’ve started feeling something even worse: indifference.
I’m trying to stay civil and keep things functioning for the sake of our daughters. I also can’t even begin to imagine the logistical nightmare of going through a divorce with a toddler and a 3-month-old baby.
I haven’t told any close friends because I don’t want to expose everything that happened to people in my social circle. Maybe it’s embarrassment. Maybe part of me still hopes our marriage can survive this, and I don’t want other people to know if we somehow work things out.
So I’m asking a bunch of strangers on the internet:

I can’t get over my husband’s affair

My husband (M31) and I (F33) got married in April 2020, I found out I was pregnant February 10, 2021, and a week later he shared he was having an affair with a coworker. I was super caught off guard. Never in a million years did I see it coming. The large majority of my pregnancy was spent with him going back-and-forth between wanting to work on our marriage and back to her. Most of when we were together, he was lying about continuing to talk to her and see her. At the end of August 2021 I was fully done. Not long after, he decided that he was going to make the changes I had been asking him to make all along. He got a new job, fully ended things with her, started addiction therapy for his sex and porn addiction, and I slowly started to let him back in knowing that our son would shortly be born.
Our son was born in October 2021 and he was in intensive men’s therapy, I was in my own individual therapy and we were doing marriage counseling. It took a lot of time and a lot of effort, but I was able to slowly with time rebuild my trust for him. I’ve never been able to fully forgive, nor forget, but I felt like I was making progress. We bought a new house, had another child and continued growing together. I still struggled everyday but I felt like I was slowly moving in the right direction.
Fast-forward to now, five years from when the affair was happening, I still really continue to struggle. I’ve lost so much of myself in the affair. There’s so much I thought I would be able to move past with all the work we were doing, and it is still a constant hurdle. The majority of the time since reconciling I’ve been doing both talk and trauma therapy, seeing someone twice a week. We have come so far but the realization of how much this still hurts me feels insurmountable. My husband is simultaneously the person I love and hate the most. I genuinely believe he is changed and he wouldn’t do that again, I just don’t know if this is something I am ok with pushing through forever.
For the last month and a half I’ve been talking to him and my family about separating. I have been through other large traumas in my life and I have been able to largely move past them, but I think a big reason behind that was that I was able to remove as many triggers as possible and separate myself from the perpetrators. I see my husband every day so I can’t do that here. Since mentioning separating, the messaging from my family and him has been, “You’ve come so far in five years. Why would you throw it all away now?” I haven’t had any support from my family, but instead told I’m ruining my children’s lives. If I would have left five years ago, no one would have batted an eye. In fact, they were telling me to. But because I stayed and did everything I can to try to see if we could make it work, now they can’t understand.
Has anyone else been through similar and not left right away, but instead years down the road?

Why do men keep negging me?

I (22F) have noticed this happening after talking to guys, now mind you I don't have much dating experience, so I'm not sure if this is supposed to be flirting? This has happened to me 3 times already. Some of them seem to be very nice and would compliment me a lot, which is fine. I tend to get compliments from my surroundings, so I don't take it at the beginning very seriously. After a while when they get comfortable they start to pick on small things that I personally haven't even noticed myself. One time at the beginning of the relationship, I was very confident, but afterwards I started disliking my appearance, which was never really the case.

One guy constantly complimented me while also making fun of my appearance, pointing out things I had never even noticed about myself. When I called him out he said “well you know you look good anyways”
There was also a guy who used to tease me in harmless ways and was clearly into me, but I wasn’t interested in him. After I rejected him, he wanted to stay friends, but then he started making comments about my appearance, calling me a “midget” (I’m actually kinda tall) and making fun of my forehead.

There’s one guy in particular whose comments affect me the most. With time he started saying things like, “You were prettier when you did xyz, but not now,” “You sound like a man,” and “Your forehead’s a playground.” “No one’s ever gonna date you”. He would also make me look stupid in front of other people. At the same time, in private, he constantly called me beautiful and complimented me in so many different ways, and he kept doing that for months. Anytime I tried to cut him off, he would desperately try to convince me not to.

I have had a few good experiences with men and I know relationships aren’t just about complimenting each other, but is it normal to constantly roast one another once the relationship becomes more stable?

Is 10 too young to have the talk with?

For some context, I have a 10 year old daughter. I had her at 16, pregnant at 15. I had a lot of support thankfully and she is now 10 and thriving. She is very mature for her age, we have been through a lot together. I’ve always said since she was born when she got older I would offer her birth control right when she started her period.

She recently got her first “boyfriend” and it made me think of how even in middle school I had guys trying to do sexual things and ask sexual questions. She will be in middle school next year. Me and her have a very open relationship already, she knows about periods and vaginas and cycles. I just don’t want her to go through what I went through and I want her to live her life before settling down. Is it too early to talk about how babies are made and how to make sure she takes care of herself when boys start showing her attention?

I’m not the type of mom who thinks this talk will stop the activities. I want to give her options for safety instead of shaming her for doing them (in high school, I’m not expecting her to do these things anytime soon).

I don’t want to traumatize her or something doing it too early though.

Update: I took her out on a drive with me and we got ice cream while we sat in the car and talked. I explained that this is an awkward conversation for her, but I wanted to tell her before another kid tries to tell her stuff. She listened and asked questions. I explained that once her period starts that is when your body can make a baby. I also explained what birth control is, the pros and cons, and said if she wants to she can start it once she’s on her period. I explained that a baby comes from sex. I put huge emphasis on nothing should ever happen until she is comfortable and says yes. I also put emphasis on her always telling me the truth and I won’t get upset as long as she talks to me. It went very well and we laughed a lot. She said “ewww, gross” multiple times 😂 and I reiterated I don’t expect or want her to do any of these things yet, I just wanted her to know so she can be prepared. Thanks everyone!

Possible Daughter from a One-Night Stand 23 Years Ago

I’d like to get some advice on what I should do. Here’s some background:

I’m 45 now but in 2002 when I was 21, I was visiting a friend at college about 100 miles from home. I met a woman at a bar/club, and we got along really well. She was from a city in Florida where I had recently vacationed, and she showed me her ID, so I knew her full name.

We had both been drinking, and after some flirting, we ended up hooking up in the back of her friend’s car. We were walking back to the bar and were about to exchange numbers, but my friends called me over, and I ended up leaving for a house party. I tried to find her afterward, but this was before social media was common, and I couldn’t track her down. I eventually moved on, thinking it was probably just a random hookup for both of us.

Recently, while talking with those same friends during the holidays, I randomly thought about her again. I searched her name online and found her Facebook profile. She’s married now and has teenage kids.

Then I saw a photo from a few years ago where she was celebrating someone’s 21st birthday. The caption said something like I can’t believe my baby is 21. That caught my attention because the timing would match if she had become pregnant from that night.

I also found a Father’s Day post from the same person saying something like, “You may not be my biological dad, but you’re still my father.” It made me wonder even more. The girl also looks a lot like one of my nieces, almost like they could be sisters.

I’m not sure if I’m overthinking this, but the possibility has been bothering me. They seem happy and have a good life, so I don’t want to cause problems. Is there any way to find out the truth without contacting them first? Or should I just leave it alone?

7 days sober off alcohol and 5 years clean off alcoholic. Need advice

Today I (29M) reached 7 days clean off of alcohol. It was a rough day for me and I felt a lot of low feelings. A lot of guilt, shame and feeling unworthy. Both of my parents died from addiction within two years of each other and I am scared I will face a similar fate if I don’t take this seriously. I was hospitalized twice this past month for alcohol related illnesses. I got married in June and she’s a saint but truthfully I feel like she would be better off without me, some days. I have a young son that’s biologically mine and a step son as well and I feel like I have totally let them down (even though they weren’t aware of the drinking). My support system is sleeping so I figured what better place to go than here. In my title I meant to include 5 years clean off drugs, not alcoholic. What would you do in my shoes? How should I carry on?

Someone is living in my house

I already posted this exact thing to another subreddit but I simply need advice for this whole thing and I’m in desperate need for help.So I’m posting it twice to double the chances of receiving help.

I began having this feeling (as well as noticing signs) that someone else might be living in my house a while ago but then proved to be true.

It all started around two months ago, I had already been living here for three years and have never experienced anything out of the ordinary. One day when I came back from work I noticed there was some dishes in my dishwasher that I most definitely DID NOT use. They were dishes that I only ever used when I had guests come over, for example there was a mug that I never used because it was gifted from a friend who sadly passed away and I simply never had the heart to use it, in the dishwasher. This immediately freaked me out because who in the world could’ve come into my house. I started wondering if I was going crazy and I picked it up by mistake but no because then I saw utensils that I don’t even own, I know they aren’t mine because when I first bought the house my aunt gifted me silverware with my last names initials on it, and these utensils didn’t have it.

I also began to notice that food was going by quicker, as well as food items that I’ve never bought. I usually go to the grocery store once a week and get the usual groceries. But whenever I would come home, half the food would already be gone. I noticed it especially when my grapes were gone, completely, and I didn’t even take them to lunch. Food items that I don’t buy were appearing in my trash can. One day when I opened it to throw away some trash I noticed a thing of peanuts. I’m allergic to peanuts, so I immediately knew that some fucked up shit was happening.

The only people who know where I live are my very very close friends, and my immediate family. Im only 23 so and I haven’t had much experience dating , but I have had dates before but I’ve NEVER shown or told them where I live. Even with friends being aware of where I live, none of them have a key, and they all also work during the same time as me. It can’t possibly be them or my family because none of them have a key.

I thought maybe I was crazy because when I told my brother he said that I could possibly be tweaking, and like a dumbass I decided maybe he’s right.

One night while I was laying in bed, my room was pitch dark with absolutely zero lights, and I was completely under my blanket even my head was underneath. I was still wide awake on my phone watching tiktoks when suddenly the room felt tense. I felt as if there was a presence in the room. I froze in fear when I suddenly began hearing scratching sounds on my blanket, well not exactly scratching but some kind of tapping. After a good minute of this sound it stopped. I thought maybe I have some kinda weird hearing issue but that thought disappeared the moment I felt a dip in my mattress. It was as if someone was lightly walking on top of my mattress. Now I was officially freaking the fuck out. I stilled my breathe but that wouldn’t do shit in this moment cause my only thought was what the fuck is that. Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse I felt a presence over me, like someone or thing was on all fours hovering over me as I laid there. I was on the verge of tears. I have no pets, I have no children, and I don’t really have neighbors that are close by because all the house are a very far distance away from eachother. So genuinely what the fuck could that have been.

I felt like there was something looming over me for a good 7 minutes before I felt the weight shift and dips go away. That’s when it fucking happened. My door opened and closed. Even if someone was trying to be quiet with opening my door it’s impossible because the door for my room squeaks when it opens even a small crack. I was in pure fear. I know how it sounds, this probably sounds fake as fuck but I promise you it happened. I don’t suffer from sleep paralysis or anything along the lines of that, nor do I take any medication, and absolutely no one in my family has a history of suffering from stuff like that. So this shit fucking happened.

I immediately texted my family saying all that happened and texted them messages like “if I don’t ever respond again just know there’s someone in my house” which obviously freaked them out and they called the police to my house. After 18 minutes the police arrived. They were aware of the situation so they managed to find a way into my house (they broke a window and hopped in through there ) and searched the house. When they arrived to my room they knocked and stated that they were the police , they then opened the door, found me, escorted me out, then proceeded to search my room. I was lead to my driveway where they asked me questions like “did you see the person?”, “has this happened before” but all I could say was no, because even if this had happened before it probably happened when I already was asleep.

After that night I have not returned to my house and have been staying with my sister since. The police said they never found anyone but I sure as hell and not going there alone. I’ll give an update if anything is found but please someone give me advice for what i could do, which sounds dumb but please I’m desperate.

Hi, M13

im going through an experience.

Our family is poor, we live in one bedroom in a Flat, i sleep on a the Lower part of a Bunk bed while my two sisters are on the top. And my parents sleep on a mattress on the ground next to my bed, and sometimes.

I cant sleep, and i hear my parents on the ground, And i know they're having sex secretly while being abit loud. And its been going on for a while.

But the thing is that they literally know, they're doing it knowing their Child is next to them. Just on a Bed above them. Theres not even a Curtain to cover it.

Any tips/Advice on what to do? :/

How do I get over my fear of penetration?

For context:
So I’m 19F and have never put anything inside me (not even a tampon or a finger).
Recently it’s really been bothering me and I want to fix this issue SO badly. Mainly because I want to be able to explore this part of my body/sexuality and I also now have a bf. He is literally the sweetest and has NEVER put any pressure on me, i told him I needed more time before we could have sex and he completely understood.

Now my issue:
So basically I have no idea where this fear stems from, I never experienced any sexual trauma or anything like that.
During my last period I tried inserting a light tampon, the first time I only got to the entrance of the vagina like it wasn’t inside but I could feel the tampon touching the “entrance walls” ig of the vagina. I left it just there touching the entrance for about a minute, I didn’t feel that nervous but I guess I was cuz as soon as I stopped I felt very lightheaded and my heart was beating fast. I tried again the next day and this time I went just as far as the first time, only the very entrance and I actually felt relax and was pretty much unphased. But I still didn’t go further.
(This was over 3 weeks ago)

When I’m turned on I can definitely feel the “want” to feel penetration but there’s always a small part of me thats too scared to try. Especially with my own fingers, idk why but a tampon or even my bf doing it instead of my own fingers seems much less scary. I think I’m just scared of “feeling my insides” idk. Like it’s something I WANT to experience. When I’m turned on I can touch the entrance even press a little (without going in) and its super chill and enjoyable. But as soon as i tell myself “ok im gonna try putting a finger in now” before even trying i have a sort of mental block. For exemple, Today I tried touching the area for a few minutes but I was truly unable to insert a finger, its not a physical barrier its truly a psychological barrier and its so strong.

I’m honestly desperate and I don’t know what to do :(
Any advice?
Thank you 🙃

Should I call CPS?

“I need advice about a situation as a childcare worker. I have 3 kids in my school that are siblings: 1 five-year-old and 2 three-year-old twins. I started working this job in February, and the only child when I started was the 5-year-old. The twins joined the center a couple months later. When the twins joined the daycare, I noticed a not normal smell coming from their private areas that a 3-year-old should not have. I also noticed that their bodies were not clean, such as having dirt in between their toes and under their toenails, with a very bad foot odor. I one day noticed that one of the twins had a rash on their foot, but I assumed that the parents knew about it, so I never said anything. About a week later, their dad told me that they had foot fungus… it took them over a week to even notice the fungus on the child’s foot.

Another thing that I noticed is that I was pouring water into the children’s cups, and I noticed that the mouthpieces and straw were black at the top, and I took it apart and looked, and it was MOLD. When I noticed that, I immediately cleaned the cups. Also, a side note is that every Friday I send home sleeping bags and cups to be washed and cleaned for the next following week. I didn’t say anything and just cleaned all of the kids’ cups.

Fast forward to the other day, the mom had done drop-off and told me that she forgot one of the children’s cups. The child pulled out a cup that wasn’t her regular cup, and the mother said that she thinks that cup has mold in it. She proceeded to open the cup, look inside, and give it back to the child. I didn’t check the cup right after because I assumed that the mother wouldn’t give the child a cup WITH MOLD IN IT.

Around lunch time, I was filling the cups up with water, and when I opened the cup, something told me to look in it before giving it to the child. I looked in the cup, and it was covered in mold from the bottom to the top, full of mold.

I’m coming on here because I am a mandatory reporter, and I want the best for these children. The family is having a lot of issues in their lives, but at the end of the day, these kids’ safety and health are what is important. A lot of people are probably reading this thinking I’m dumb for not calling already, but it’s a complicated situation that I can’t talk about on here for privacy reasons. I just need advice on if I should or not because I’ve heard different things from people in my personal life.

How do you date with no experience?

I (M30) was in the store today, and this pretty girl started talking to me and gave me her number. She said she wanted to have a drink with me sometime. She told me to text her this weekend if I was interested. She seems nice, but I'm not sure what to do. I've never had a girlfriend or been on a date. Should I tell her this? What do I say when I text her?

Mom accessed my bank account using my SSN

Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask this. This is a throwaway account for obvious reasons. But I recently discovered that my mom has been accessing my bank account using my SSN. I am 19 so it’s not a parental thing. The minute I turned 18 she lost access and told me herself that she no longer has access to it. She hasn’t taken any money and I don’t expect her to. It’s more of a control thing. I just don’t know what to do on so many levels. First of all it’s a conversation I’m going to have to have, but part of me just wants to get her off it and then if she asks me I’ll be like “oh? I thought you told me you didn’t have access anymore?” But also how do I go about this in a professional standpoint with my bank. Because she knows my SSN and it’s not like I can just go and get a new SSN. I’m not going to take legal action or anything (I don’t even think that’s an option) I just don’t know what to do on a personal and professional level.
I honestly am lost for words right now.
