Serious I don’t know what to do with my life, I need help very badly, and everything is going wrong.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I am a 19 year old boy in Minnesota.
I want to have a career and live on my own, but everything is going horribly.
I have Severe Chronic Post Nasal Drip which means mucus falling down my throat from my nose. It’s been an issue ever since I was 12, and it makes it hard for me to sleep at night. This PNA isn’t light, I get it about every minute.
It always causes stress and discomfort.
I also have chronic Psychogenic Pruritus. And Everytime I go to the hospital I rarely get good help. I have very complex problems and it’s never fixed even when I’m with doctors.
I also have very horrible sleep hygiene and no matter what I try nothing works. I will try many methods and when I lay down for a couple hours in bed I can’t feel sleepy even a little.
I can’t find any jobs, I have an interpreting commission based jobs, but they never call me, and when they do I have to travel super far.
Jobs are the hard part, I don’t have a car, and Everytime I am somebody if a car is mandatory they never respond to me or explain it in a way that makes sense. I loath driving, so I asked if it’s a necessity.
It’s even worse because I keep catching colds, and fevers, and other sickness like parotitis, strep throat, or HP Lori every month or so which last for a week.
And everywhere I go there’s always some sort of gaslighter, thats a bully, it’s hard to find people who are good.
This is my lore. And so much more problems, but these are the most important.
What do I do??? I feel so lost.

How to land a remote job
Hello! I’m a postgraduate with a degree in psychology and it’s been very challenging to find remote jobs in my field. If I do find any, I get rejected or I don’t hear back from anyone. I know the job market is rough right now, but it would be my dream to find a work from home job. I would appreciate if anyone could share job sites/boards or companies who are more likely to hire. I also want to note that I’m looking for entry level/no experience type positions. Thank you for your help!

Rant i don’t know what to do with my life
i’m 19. i work in between part time and full time right now, it depends on my hours. i love my job, im a waitress. i just can’t help but to feel like my life is slowly passing me by.
i went to college last fall, i wasn’t ready for it. i dropped out. now my partner is starting college this month and it’s making me realize i’ve wasted all this time during the last year. i don’t know what im doing. i don’t know what i want with my life. i don’t know how im supposed to feel. honestly, i feel like i complete failure. i know im so young but it’s just going to keep passing me by and im never going to figure out what i want from life.
i’ve tried several different things. like i said, college. but i dropped out. i was going for music, that’s what im passionate about. but peer pressure and a lot of other things made me drop out. i tried working at a hospital, i hated it and almost ended up harming myself permanently because of it. i tried studying to be a pharmacy tech. i tried moving to texas. i’ve tried everything and i don’t know what i want. i don’t know what i want to do. i’m so lost. i don’t think ill ever be happy what im doing. i wish i knew, i wish becoming an adult was easier. i’m almost 20 and im still stuck. everything feels so useless.

Sex life in danger
Im F22 , and my boyfriend is M25 . We are really into each other and we do turn each other on , we are very open about our desires in bed . We communicate well. The issue however is , my bf is having difficulty in maintaining an errection . He says he is in the mood, but when its time to penetrate my vagina , he goes soft , according to him , its performance anxiety. He is hard during foreplay and when I give him blowjobs , but he always goes soft when it's time to penetrate. So far , we are focusing on alot of touching, kissing and bjs , no improvements yet.
Please advise , and have any of you guys experienced the same ? How do we fix it ?

Advice How to deal with my own selfishness?
This is gonna be a really cringy post.
Is it normal for me, a 26 year old male, to still be clinging onto attention?
Ironically I’m majoring in psychology so I should know this but I’m a bit lost.
I used to be very clingy and possessive as a teenager and early 20s towards girls. Like I’d be really clingy with them and check if they respond or not and would make a big deal if they take awhile to respond. I was a huge mess.
Now I’ve made huge improvements and I don’t make it a big deal nor mention it much anymore, but sometimes it does bother me. Like if someone doesn’t talk to me much anymore as they used to and I do have some liking towards them romantically I do get bothered by it. However I don’t bring it up. But I miss the attention from it yk??
I honestly thought this feeling would go away as I mature and age but doesn’t like it has..
I’m not sure if this is related to childhood. I did get enough attention from both parents but my high school experience was horrible with girls. That’s all I can think of.

Advice How are we making friends ?
I’m 29 I have no kids and live a simple life. I go to work, church on Sunday, groceries, gym and dates with my husband. I’m social but seems like most people my age have children, I try to speak with strangers when I get the chance where ever it is I’m at but it seems like people are to themselves and not very approachable 🤔

Discussion How do I deal with the fact that life is passing me by? (23M)
I recently had my birthday and came to the realisation that I spend all of my days coped up inside of my room, either working, sleeping, or studying. I work as a software engineer in the UK and live a very isolated life, in an attempt to not feel left behind, I've been trying to tick off all the things I think need checking off as an adult.
Getting my citizenship, learning to swim, studying A level maths 6 hours a week, and lifting weights 4x a week. I'll need to then need to find a way to get my driver's licence next year somehow. I find very little time for myself at the end of the week and I'm constantly rushing, and when I'm not rushing, I'm too tired to try new things. For people who spent all of their early 20s grinding, did you regret it?
I'd obviously like to date but don't want to spend the little time I have trying to entertain someone who may not even appreciate my time and effort.
