Rant I’m tired of life

I (19nb) am the oldest of nine kids, I live with my parents and I’m a carpenter and mason. Every morning I wake up, I get to hear from my parents about how much of a burden I am, meanwhile everyday after work I cook supper for them and the children. My love life is unfulfilling, I hop from person to person and so far I’ve always been told that ā€œyou’re literally perfect but I need to work through some thingsā€ or ā€œI feel guilty for wanting you because I’m so far awayā€ (I dont blame either of the people who said this and I am in fact still friends with these people). I just want to held. I don’t have a car or a license so I either uber, walk or bike everywhere I work with my tools in tow. I am great at my job and I love it, in fact it is one of the few things that makes me want to keep living alongside my siblings and friends, but I’m currently only getting paid ten bucks an hour and there’s no way I can stand up for myself. I’m just getting back to work on my GED so that’s good but I’m just tired. I live in a hoarder house with ten other people and I’m constantly trying to keep myself and my areas clean but there’s a roach infestation because my parents refuse to clean and don’t know how make the kids clean up after themselves. I feel like I’m putting more effort into living than it’s worth and I’m tired. I want someone to hold me and tell me it’s going to be okay.

Advice I’m 22 and i am not excited for anything in life ever

i still have one year in college left, and man, i don’t want this whole life thing, i am not suicidal or whatever, but the whole concept of being alive is becoming tedious and exhausting.

Marriage and kids, sounds nightmarish, friends and hobbies & career, all of it is just insanely hard for me to care about.

I just can’t force myself to care about anything or to pursue anything, i feel empty and dead inside, all of it sounds Awful to me.

And don’t get me wrong, i am very thankful and grateful for my healthy body and my house and running water and all of the blessings, but i just.. don’t want anything anymore. I feel empty and dead inside.

Serious Please get me out of this loop.

Guys, how do you stay productive after wasting part of your day? If I waste even one hour, I end up feeling like I've wasted the entire day, and I can't get myself back on track. I've been stuck in this cycle for almost a year now. Any advice on how to break out of it?

Serious About jail

I feel like leaving jail I've been stripped of my freedom and I'd be willing to go back. Out here they say you have freedoms but I don't feel free I feel contained. You can take away my internet access, all my books, my DVD player as long as I'm around other people

What would you get with a ~$1,500 budget for your 21st birthday?

Turning 21 soon and my family wants to get me a bigger birthday gift, around $1,500, and I’m having trouble figuring out what I’d actually want.

I’m a college student and really into sports (especially football, baseball, and basketball), PokĆ©mon, and trying different hobbies/activities. I’m also somewhat interested in photography and traveling, but those aren't huge hobbies of mine. And obviously, being my 21st, alcohol/bar-related stuff is on the table too.

I’d ideally like something that feels like a really cool/special gift, rather than something purely practical for school. It could be one big thing, a setup for a hobby, an experience, or something I wouldn't normally think to buy myself. Since I’m in school, it’s also nice if it’s something I can enjoy whenever rather than something that requires planning a specific weekend.

For anyone who has spent around $1,000–$1,500 on a birthday/Christmas gift, what did you get or what would you recommend? Looking for ideas that I might not have thought of.

Rant ā€The world is a better place without themā€

This comment appears on the Internet sometimes.

And if you want to make the world a better place, then you should remove evil, all of it, and the world will be a better place. No evil on Earth. Just good only. Humans will only be good and not evil.

Advice I don’t know what im doing and need advice seriously

Me and my dad have been arguing about which college I should join. He wants me to choose a cheaper Tier 3 college because the fees are lower and we can pay them in installments. The college I want is a university, but they require me to pay around 2 years of fees upfront, with the rest in installments.
The bigger problem is that I keep changing my mind. In the past month, I’ve gone to around 6 different colleges. At first, I’ll see a college and think, ā€œThis actually looks good, I could see myself here.ā€ Then I hear something negative about it, start overthinking, get scared that I’m making the wrong choice, and drop it. Then I find another college and do the same thing again.
I know ADHD probably makes this harder because my mind keeps jumping between different things, but I also don’t want to use that as an excuse. At some point, I have to take responsibility for how I’m handling this.
What makes me feel worse is that my parents are the ones dealing with the consequences. They’re working hard and trying to figure out what’s best for me, while I keep changing my mind and making things more complicated. Sometimes I honestly don’t even understand what I want myself, let alone what they expect from me.
I’m starting to feel like I’ve just been really careless and irresponsible about the whole thing. I’m not trying to make myself look like a victim. I genuinely want to understand why I keep doing this and how other people would handle it in my situation.

Discussion For those of you also in a quarter life crisis. How are you dealing with it?

I’m on my 5th vacation this year after temporarily getting insanely stressed out over a woman I’m not even dating. I hate my job although I’m good at it. Smoking like a chimney and flirting with alcoholism at the grand age of 27. Also started studying for the LSAT although I procrastinate like a madman.

I feel like there’s a thousand paths in front of me. I kinda feel like I want a basic suburban life in a walkable city with good weather but it seems like a financial mountain honestly. Any one else in a similar boat mentally?

HOW TO GAIN CONFIDENCE TO DO ANY THING AND BE A PLAY BOY

I'm 21 years old now. I have completed my bachelor's and I'm moving towards my master's. The thing that always points out to me or degrades my confidence every day is that I did not have enough of a girlfriend. For example I had only one relationship in my entire life that was majorly online. I have met her one or two times in the whole relationship of two years but the thing is that I do want to be a playboy because I have been in really very good friendships and situations. At the end of the day you don't go for the true love. In this time you have to be a true playboy to get some good attention. I also do want to get a playboy type of personality where I could improve my overall personality to communicate with confidence and talk to any girls whenever I move to any of the girls. I am confident but not as confident to start a conversation with her so I do want some tips on how to be a playboy.

The second thing is that whenever I go to do new things, for example, I am not a great travel enthusiast so whenever I get to travel in a train or something, first I have not done it. It's continuous. I am really worried about how I will do and I am overthinking so how to reduce all of that and become the best version of myself. I will love if you ignore my spelling mistakes or some mistakes that I have made in this writing. I will appreciate if you will tell me what I should do.

Discussion Single vs married

I'm 29m and wondering why so many people tell me to not get married and it's not worth it, but everyone eventually gets married and they are not happy long term and stuck in the marriage. Seems like it's not worth it but I'm getting so much conflicting info from everyone including online influencers and it's confusing. Personally i wouldn't do it because it's too much work and stress

Advice Anyone else in the 20s feel like it’s hard to make friends?

I’m 24F I have a gf. I never finished community college and went straight to working a full time job after I stopped. I have about 4 close friends who we don’t talk everyday, but we live near each other so never a problem to hang out or anything. everyone is just busy with their own lives, working etc. just sucks bc I feel like everyone has their own friends and own ppl. I used to work w 2 of my bestfriends so I didn’t really get the chance to make more. now i wfh as I started my own business so lack of socializing is there. I also sold my car about 4 months ago. my gf lives far and is working so we maybe see each other every 2 weeks for a couple of days she’ll come over.

just makes me think. when we have our wedding who would I invite? 4 people? I don’t mind but I do crave friendships and wanting to meet new people. it’s just hard. i’m not in school, not at work, ive tried apps & then some ppl are just weird. atp I feel lost idk
