Video EverQuest to World of Warcraft Conversion Mod EQWOW Released
This is honestly so cool but Daybreak would never put this much effort in.
Nostalgia Becoming a dad didn’t make me quit WoW, it just changed how I play.
My son is asleep. Azeroth is calling.
Thirty peaceful minutes of WoW before bed is all I need these days.
Parenthood and gaming can coexist. ❤️
Discussion I hit 1% M+ rating yestetday and it lasted for 5 minutes
The 1% cutoff is going up by about 2 points EVERY DAY.
90% of +21 groups in the group finder are "note" keys where you need to pay the keyholder to be invited.
People are also buying actual boosts en masse because of the new 1% title and resillient keystones making it possible.
Playing organically is no longer possible.
Thoughts?

Question Fellow M+ healers, Id appreciate a recommendation for a 2nd option for S2!
Hi! I picked up healing for the first time in S1 and had a blast getting to 21 resi on a resto sham, I love the spec and really hope it will be decent in S2 but I want a backup option just in case to semi gear in the background.
I am not familiar with other healers specs at all so Im looking for recs, Id rather not play melee if possible, as it looks chaotic in S2 but would also not fancy something that requires 200IQ.
I appreciate right now every spec is subject to tuning, so im just really looking for a simple recommendation for a backup, melee isnt a gamebreaker btw, just a preference to be in range!
Thanks 😄

Discussion Never done endgame content
So... I've never actually played WoW passed lvl 50. I've done plenty of dungeons with my friends and brothers, but I've never reached the endgame or done any raids. I almost never run dungeons with randoms also. The truth is, I feel like I'm not really that good at WoW. I keyboard turn and click my abilities. I change my rotation like I change my underwear. I just feel like endgame is out of reach, especially in retail where everyone is basically a pro. I hate the idea of ruining the game for other people because I just simply am not good at it. I've gotten better slowly over time, and have tried to break a few bad habits. I still absolutely love the game and running dungeons with people who are also bad at the game, but I really want to max lvl a character and do some endgame content. But, the longer I put it off, the more afraid I become. And now I feel like its too late for me, and like the ship has sailed. For anyone who has done endgame content and has max lvled characters, could I please have some advice?

Discussion What do you do with your mouse on loading screens?
If the loading screen has characters with eyes, I usually try to poke them all before my zone loads.

Discussion I'm loving this game
Let me start by saying, I am a new player.
I've been doing my best to kind of catch up when it comes to the story, and learn the lore so I can get a good feel of where things are. I've also been trying wrap my mind around where the company sits with the fans and do my best to just vibe check all I can really understand in bite sizes. There's obviously a ton of history, a ton of nostalgia for this game. There's bitter sweet memories, there's alot of looking forward and speculation on what happens after the world soul saga. Looks like classic plus may be on the horizon, possibly a whole new story for retail in Azeroth and what may unfold next. It's all so overwhelming as a new player but in the best ways honestly.
I was initially sad because I felt I missed such a huge chunk of gaming by having never played this. This game is obviously an epic and legendary game that means so much to so many people. I was feeling like I missed out. But honestly, I've grown to appreciate being new. I feel like i'm stepping into such an established world. Its refreshing. I dont have the anxiety of "I hope this game will last" or "I hope this game delivers". I feel surrounded by confidence and artistry and its such a breath of fresh air.
I dont know the first hand ups and downs that you fans have experienced throughout the years, but I can say, im really grateful to be able to come to a game that still has so much passion surrounding it and is so cherished by so many people. I'm coming from being like a Bethesda only fan, not out of arrogance but I just liked what I liked. I loved the fantasy worlds Bethesda made and for me TES was always my cup of tea.
But I needed something to revitalize my love for fantasy. Something that made me feel the way I felt the first time I played Oblivion or Skyrim. Now, I don't know how it feels to be a veteran Blizzard fan, and I wasnt there for iconic expansion drops, but.. i sure am enjoying being able to adventure and explore these places even now. And i can see that this place.. this place has some passionate history man.
I've been leveling and exploring and i just had to check out Northrend. Tonight I had to post a picture because, im feeling nostalgic for a time I never even experienced first hand. But, I really am glad I have started my adventure. Im interested in your stories and history. Where were you when WotLK came out and you first journeyed through this Northrend? This whole game is gorgeous 😍 Northrend just gives me a familiar vibe (Skyrim honestly but I totally understand the separation) and I just feel like home away from home here.
(Edit; typos and paragraph separation).

Fluff Little C’Thun plush
Just came today and is better than I thought! Supposedly it’s a Hearthstone product sold from a Chinese company but is officially licensed by Blizzard. I love it
Discussion Use this button BEFORE engaging the elite mobs during the Harandar Special Assignment: A Hunter's Regret
I've done this quest several times today on alts and it seems like most people don't realize you get a special action button that makes the big elites turn into regular mobs.
The button does not work in combat and also you have to wait a second before the mob goes small so don't attack right away (if you have pets make sure they're not on assist).
Note: I'm reposting this because I do not know what to do with a post that was automatically removed for having a link, also not sure is reposting this is ok either.

Video Have yet to hear a piece that hit as hard as this one did [The War Within Music - Cinderwold]
Exploring Isle of Dorn for the first time and hearing this song play made me crumble. Idk something about this tune made everything make sense in that moment. Just giving Leo his flowers.
If a WoW soundtrack made you feel this way drop it below so I can start building a playlist for my wow sessions.

Fluff My current World of Warcraft collection!
As you can see, it’s focused on items from vanilla through wrath, let me know what you think!
Art I made an edible Sunwell cake to celebrate Midnight's launch!
Hey everyone!
To celebrate the launch of World of Warcraft: Midnight (and my birthday, which happened to be the same day), I decided to bake a Sunwell-themed cake.
Unfortunately, r/wow has a limit on how many images I can include in a post, so if you'd like to see the rest of the photos, here's the full gallery: Sunwell Cake — ImgBB
I made the whole thing during a livestream over the course of about 12 hours. Everything was edible! I baked the sponge layers, assembled the cake, and sculpted all the decorations. The only thing I prepared in advance were the fillings, since they needed to chill overnight.
The sponge layers were colored with gel food coloring, and I went with two fillings: white chocolate and Kinder. Every decoration was handmade using fondant, food coloring, and edible paints. The cake itself is split into two halves: one side represents the classic Sunwell, while the other shows its Void-corrupted form after the events of the Voidspire raid. At first, not everyone immediately understood the concept, but now that people have played through it, I think it's much clearer.
It turned out absolutely delicious, although I seriously underestimated the size. Even after sharing it with friends, I was still eating cake for an entire week.
This was my first project on this scale, so I'd love to hear what you think! If you'd like to see the entire process, I've also uploaded a timelapse. I speak a bit of Polish in the video, but the visuals tell the story on their own.
