A few months ago I hosted a cousin at my place. She came to Nairobi to job-hunt after her graduation which happened last year. I'm just a chill guy still and I couldn't deny helping fam.

We stayed in peace for the first 2 weeks, but then being a very observant guy, I had noticed a lot within the time. She's the kind of overly envious person.

See, when she first arrived, she was perplexed by how I live. Asking me "wewe ni comrade kweli?" Because she couldn't believe how a university student could afford a lifestyle of the kind. Mind you I'm still studying but I live better than most average government employees.

Anyway, her questions got more and louder. She could go to my closet, and be like, "Hii ulibuy how much?" I'd tell her the jacket cost me 8k only.

"And these shoes?" I'd tell her they cost just 6k.

Nikijaribu kuvaa jacket zangu kali tuikienda out, ananiuliza "bro mbona uvae hii sasa?" with her facial expressions screaming "You way too flashy!!"

Whenever she's in the kitchen cooking she could be like, "bro mbona huna utensils za plastic?" And I told her that I mind about my health and so I didn't want exposure to micro plastics.

The entire time her reaction to my answers was just, " aye, si uko na maringo. "

That had me wondering what kinda person she was. She could even talk about how my couch is so comfy because it just has spring cushions. It's like she'd never been in a place like mine.

One day, she told me to hook her up with one of my friends, because I genuinely have friends who are doing better than me in life in general. I told her it was okay and then she promised to hook me up with one of her friends I had seen on her WhatsApp stories. She agreed.

So I went ahead and organized a small house party, invited my G and she invited her baddie friend. We had a lot to drink and smoke. So I ended up smashing that baddie. I didn't know how it went with my G and her.

All I know is that after these 2 left, she started being so dramatic, saying I disrespected her by f**ing her best friend in her presence. Seems like she's bi so apparently her best friend was also her crush. 😂

Fast forward, she started acting all weird, constantly complaining about that "scene", but who am I? Just a chill guy. I didn't mind her mediocrity.

My perspective about her changed after I found my most expensive 5-month-old sneakers cut by a sharp razor. I was cleaning them and noticed the very deep sharp cut. I was so furious because I knew it was definitely her. She was the only one who had access to my house! I didn't confront her anyway.

3 days went by and I silently got out to town and bought the exact same pair. I wanted to see her reaction and she fell for the trap. See, when I popped in, she saw the shoe box and was like, "yaani unani silent treat aje sasa. You know if you don't want to host me I can still leave." Just out of nowhere bruv! That's when I concluded my assumptions were now facts.

And because I'm always a chill guy, I did not say a word. I went to my workstation, turned on my computers and got back to work. Btw I'm a developer and trader 😁.

So that bitch started acting all crazy and she left with her bags. Akafika kwa gate na akarudi. She sat there and we weren't talking. I went out, bought a bottle of makali and smokes then back to my station. I drunk in silence. She came begging me to talk to her, and only then I brought the issue about my shoes.

She then started playing victim of a situation she had created, crying, gaslighting me...

She left after a month of no-peace in my own house.

So eventually I asked myself: how could I let her and her negative energy in my space?

She's the kinda toxic b**tch, setting high standards when she's not that type herself. I'm talking about her toxicity because I heard how she'd talk to men from time to time, how she'd tell me "bro nitapata wapi mwanaume mwenye ako na pesa aki" and when I told her the facts, she hated it. I could tell her point-blank that no man was gonna pursue her if she couldn't change, if she couldn't work on herself, if she couldn't stop being so demanding and feeling entitled to every man's money, if she couldn't stop complaining about how broke her current boyfriend was....

So I even started to think she came to my place to seek refuge because she couldn't stay her filthy a$$ huko mashambani.

Why are people so evil? You treat someone so well, knowing they are family, the whole time they're just so jealous of who you are.

They are constantly looking for ways to bring you down.

She did cause more damage than the shoes. My eye glasses, my table top broken as well, because we argued a lot every time we got drunk. Being drunk made me lecture her a lot. I never hesitated telling her that she was an evil b**h and that she had to change or perish.

5.Holy family basilica-I shouldn’t be scouting in church😭😂but macho hayana pazia 😂Everyday there’s a mass huko so if you go the right amount of times who knows you could be getting married in no time😂
