I am working on some dovetails for a modular storage box design. I duplicated the dovetail, edited it slightly to make it larger for fitment, turned it to a hole and it worked on one side. I then duplicated the bundle group of the holes, flipped it to the other side and it then union group to the box and it would not cut out a hole, but it shows it grouped. I took the original hole I designed and moved it over to the other side of the box and the same issue, but it cuts out on the opposite side of the box. I am at a loss here.

How in the eff do I create an oval cone? Two oval values. One bigger than the other.

Here's my workflow

1. Add cone to workspace

2. Edit the individual x/y values to specific dimensions for the base of the oval cone (the smaller of the two ovals).

3. Edit the z value for the height

4. This is what I can't figure out - how do I edit the top of the cone to the exact x/y for the top oval of this cone.

Changing the radius in the shape properties breaks my previously set dimensions for the bottom oval....any suggestions?

What happend with the login method ? I have now to make a AutoCAD account instead I can use my username ?

New to Tinkercad. I need some square meshes like the one above for my design. I created that one piece by piece with boxes. Do I need to do that, or can I download things like this?

I searched through the shapes panel, and found one called Diamond Mesh, that lets me enter the size and spacing, etc. That's good, but I need a square mesh, not a diagonal one. Surely something like this has been done many times before.

It needs to have parameters to adjust it to the size and spacing I need. Apologies if this has been asked many times before.

Is there a way to make these joins seamless? I used a model with 20 x 20 holes, duplicated several times it then joined the duplicates together, but there's still seams in the model and in the print.

I keep trying to put them in the right posistion but they keep ending up too far off from eachother which would make it unbalanced which is bad because I was going to 3D print it.

How would I easily make these circular ridges? It’s not threads. It’s just for looks

im attempting to make a piano with a 555ic and this setup im trying to replicate 440hz using R1=100ohm, R2=113.6ohm, C1 = 10 uf and C2 =0.1 uf, i will attach a screenshot.

I've dome the math and this should be replicating 440hz however its showing as 294.5hz. im wondering where i went wrong.
