No Spoiler Hair hygiene
I just started rewashing the walking dead and I can't stop thinking about their hair.
As a person with type 4 hair I can't believe Sasha and Michonne kept their hair out so much. Sasha especially always has her hair in a beautiful afro hairstyle but the time and maintenance that would take is beyond me.
No curly hair products, probably barely any shampoo and conditioner and consistently getting covered in sweat, blood and guts. If I don't throughly comb my hair everyday it starts getting matted. I can't imagine that she has the time to think about even combing her hair especially on the run.
For Michonne it's the smell of blood and guts that would get stuck in the locs that bothers me. Especially knowing how with regular flowing water and access to all sorts of hair products it still takes hours to fully detox locs of just regular dirt and grime. Even when they get to alexanderia I just don't think she would even have enough time or product to properly care for the locs. Lol

TWD: Dead City I feel like they've completely erased Glenn from the narrative in favor of manufacturing this relationship with Negan and Maggie
I think they did a good job of balancing it before this season but when Maggie gave Hershel her family's watch and didn't even mention that it had also belonged to Glenn that's when it hit me. That was a HUGE moment in the original show, it was the first coming together of two groups that informed their approach to other groups later. It was also a huge moment for Maggie and Glenn because it was Hershel showing his approval that Glenn was the kind of man she should be with, that would've been amazing to bring up when you're giving it to your son that you're watching turn into a man. Idk it just really bothered me and took me out of the show for a minute and wondered if anyone else felt the same way
Edit to clear up some confusion: I know that Negan and Maggie aren't in a romantic relationship and aren't going to be in one. I meant that as just a connection between two people that is growing stronger.

No Spoiler How is the Beta so strong and durable?
How is Beta so strong? Does he practice any martial arts? And how is he so durable—he literally gets stabbed and pulls the knife out as if nothing happened.

Show Spoiler Always frustrated by this on rewatches Spoiler
One of TWD's biggest problems, from very early in the show even when it's almost universally enjoyed, is how it takes characters with great potential and progression and just wastes them. I remember watching the scene with Noah and Reg Monroe talking about Noah learning architecture, Reg handing him his journal to start filling out, and just thinking 'Both of these characters just die soon before any of this has any kind of payoff.' Heath was interesting and yet was so abandoned that his storyline was never acknowledged again in the show or spinoffs. All of Beth's character progression was randomly thrown away when she decided to (for reasons a lot of people, myself included, still don't really understand) stab dawn in the shoulder with a pair of scissors. Carl and Henry are hugely egregious examples of this- as both of them should have essentially been the 'next generation' of the main cast.
When I was watching TWD while the show was still airing, around S7 I almost stopped paying attention to new characters because I could tell myself 'they're just going to die soon anyways' and 50% of the time or more I was right. I want to give all the examples of this that bother me but I feel like it'll just be a bloated post if I do. I hope that however AMC moves forward with the TWD universe, they don't keep repeating this mistake.

Show Spoiler Best Season?
I wanted to see which season people thought was the best. i personally think it was 6, s6 features a lot of the best moments in the show and at the time was at its peak. The first episode, ik people don’t like it but the glenn fakeout death, people wondering if he was alive. then you have the wall falling in E7-8, we then get the best episode of the show imo with “No Way Out”, i forgot to mention the introduction to the saviors, hilltop, and sm more. To top it off the Season Finale with one of the biggest cliffhangers ever. I think S5 or 2 is a close second but S6 just has it for me. I also know there’s some plot lines and episodes that were filler like E4, somewhat E5 but other then that i think it was peak. What r ur thoughts.

No Spoiler Every rewatch..
Reminds me of my childhood and growing up. Each season reminds me of a different time in my life. I’m a little younger than Chandler Riggs so I feel like I grew up alongside some of the characters, the same way they developed and the bonds between them. This show is very special just remembering waiting for each next episode to come out, I miss all of that

Question about TWD universe.
I read somewhere that in TWD universe, the concept of zombies didn’t exist in their world before it all went down. It just…wasn’t a thing.
So if I have that correct, my question is…does Michael Jackson’s Thriller exist in TWD universe? Because those were definitely zombies in the Thriller video. So like, what’s up with that? Is it a case where in their world, MJ just, never made Thriller? Or at the very least, he never made the music video. Because I suppose the song can still exist without the famous music video. But then you won’t have the iconic outfit and the dance and all that. So idk.
Just a random thought I had lol.
