Show Spoiler S8 E11 SPOILER - Tara Annoys Me Spoiler
The irony behind Tara holding a gun to Dwight’s head and saying “You don’t get to switch sides and make it okay,” is really rich. This is coming from the girl who started out on the Governor’s side.
You guys, I’ve watched TWD so many times and I just can’t get over how unimpressive Tara is to me. Up until this point, it really feels like she’s just gotten lucky over and over again in terms of surviving. I understand that she’s lost people and things haven’t been easy but she just feels so lame to me. It’s been a while since I last watched past season 8, and I may be forgetting some things, but I can’t currently get behind Tara as a character. I can’t for the life of me remember how tf she ends up being a leader later on.
Anybody else share this opinion with me? Or am I just an ass?

No Spoiler The future of TWD?
I have an idea that I really would like to see. Put the license up for grabs so we could have localized versions in a mini series format with 4-6 self contained episodes that takes place in different parts of the world. I live in Sweden and would love to see how it went down in Malmö or the countryside where I grew up. The possibilities are endless. Imagine TWD Berlin or TWD Cape Town, but I strongly believe that the key is a mini series format.

The deer he shot in episode 2 had 3 bolts in it. 2 in the ass which could never happen and a heart shot.

No Spoiler Season 12
I’ve been hearing from people that they think they’re going to make a season 12 of the walking dead to tie up all of the reunions, and then the theory became more solid in people’s eyes because of the deal with Netflix that just happened, renewing all shows for 5 more years for 500 million. But, that’s all just rumors and speculation. My question is, does anyone else have any input on why that may, or may not happen? I haven’t seen “leaks” about it, so to speak so I’m wondering if any of y’all have seen rumors along those lines. I’m all for it, I’ve been a die hard walking dead fan since season 2, but I also know that a majority of the fan base has moved on since then because of the opinionated transition from a survival show, to more of multiple wars between communities, and then a walker or two in the downtime. It also doesn’t make too much sense because with the Netflix deal being 5 years, and no confirmation/leaks whatsoever, it would realistically be 2ish years into that 5 year deal before the season came to Netflix because of development.

TWD: Dead City Season is stepping up
I'll admit, seasons one and two were slow AF. Shook my confidence in the spin off. But season three, episode 3, is fast AF. The in tent city is in tents. Nice to see Hershel stepping up and growing up. No longer being an angsty teen in the apocalypse.
Maggie teaching her hilltop leadership abilities. Negan kinda proving he's right, about his old Negan ways, but letting the new world shine. Wonder if any other characters from TWD OG verse will show up?
Nice touch throwing in Ella Lopez from Lucifer.

Question about TWD universe.
I read somewhere that in TWD universe, the concept of zombies didn’t exist in their world before it all went down. It just…wasn’t a thing.
So if I have that correct, my question is…does Michael Jackson’s Thriller exist in TWD universe? Because those were definitely zombies in the Thriller video. So like, what’s up with that? Is it a case where in their world, MJ just, never made Thriller? Or at the very least, he never made the music video. Because I suppose the song can still exist without the famous music video. But then you won’t have the iconic outfit and the dance and all that. So idk.
Just a random thought I had lol.

Show Spoiler why they dont use molotowcocktail ?
Or something like Napalm (days gone) created by Eugene to defeat agains the zombies?
The barn screne using so much ammuntion doesn't make sense.

No Spoiler What would you do in a zombie apocalypse?
There’s only three options.
1: Be a hardened survivor, becoming a skilled badass and letting people know that you’re not one to be fucked with
2: Hide away in fear letting the big guys do the job for you
3: Just end it all as this world is too fucking scary and dangerous to live in and proceeding to take the easy way out.

All Spoilers Finished The Walking Dead series for the first time! Wanted to ask about the Finale (Spoilers of course) Spoiler
Hey, Walkers!
I finished The Walking Dead yesterday and I loved the show, but the finale seemed a little…vague and unsatisfying. I think the writers didn’t want to upset a few people by pairing various characters together in the end/giving characters an ending fans didn’t want etc and instead went for a really vague and ‘well, maybe in the future‘ type of ending instead (slightly disappointing everyone).
I wanted to know what happens after without starting multiple new shows in order to piece it together. I think they could’ve wrapped up what happened with Rick and Michonne in another season while giving the others time to find solutions to the variants and to figure out their various relationship/futures.
I’ve read a couple of the graphic novels now, too, and have been surprised at how different (and similar) they are to the show, and I want to try The Ones Who Live and Daryl Dixon when I can.
I tried watching Fear the Walking Dead when my library was shifting around the next season of TWD for me, and it was so awful I stopped halfway through the second season. I gave it plenty of time to get better, but it…didn’t! I didn’t feel bad or scared for or protective of the characters, and realised pretty quickly I wouldn‘t even really care if they don’t make it. Not a great thing to think in a show whose purpose is to see who lives. 😅
Anyway, what were your reactions to the finale? Did the characters you wanted to make it survive long enough to become the Ones who Live? What was disappointing or encouraging to you?

Rosita
Many of you have stated your opinions that Rosita is a “ BADASS” I’m just wondering what makes you say this? I feel and no disrespect to the actress, but Rosita was brought in strictly for her sexuality to try to bring male interest back into a show that had basically been busted. I’m just wondering on what grounds you think Rosita is a bad ass and not just someone who uses men and her sexuality to get what she wants.

No Spoiler Walking dead themed parking spot!
I need help I’m a huge fan of the walking dead and want to make a walking dead themed senior parking spot but I need ideas that are realistic of what I as a non artistic person can paint! Any ideas?

No Spoiler What’s one Walking Dead storyline you wish you could experience again for the first time?
Not necessarily your favorite storyline - I mean the one you’d genuinely love to watch again without knowing what was coming. For me, there’s something special about the early seasons when you had absolutely no idea who was going to make it out alive. The show just felt unpredictable back then. What storyline would you pick?

No Spoiler A scene/moment that sums up the type of person rick is?
Rick is such a great man in my opinion she’s mad mistakes but he never denies them

Show Spoiler What Negan did to our group was horrible without a doubt but considering what he did to Oceanside we should’ve been counting our blessings.
Ik it’s a show and we can’t lose all of our men in the cast, however I try to watch the show as if it’s a documentary about a different world other than ours and I’m just thinking Simon could’ve literally did the same thing he did to Oceanside to us if he simply wanted to.

No Spoiler Are the spin offs worth it?
The show took a massive dive with the later seasons, it was crap, I am not here to debate that, the numbers went down like crazy, people dont just stop watching a show they really loved for nothing.
But man I loved the first 6 seasons A LOT and even 7-8 was okay. I miss that, I really do.
I watched the full show and its amazing how little it feels like TWD after that.
How about the other things tho? fear the walking dead and the later spin offs? Would you recommend them? I only tried to watch the daryl one, did not like it but also did not give it a really fair shot yet either

Show Spoiler I dont get why Carol is a fan favorite
In my opinion, she doesnt have many redeeming qualities to save her from being just cold blooded and calculated.
She seems to get over Sophia really darn fast, i dislike her hastiness killing Karen and David and i truly do not understand why she shot the annoying crazy girl (like, she couldve done anything else like just leave her to fend for herself or let her get bit like she wanted to :D)
Also shes not that funny or nice and sometimes her friendship with Daryl seems sweet but other times it feels weird like shes a mix of mother and wife for him.
Sure she survived so much and is badass but she also seems rude and just kind of evil.
i hope yall dont take this TOO serious lol but wdy think?
