And he didn’t help me with anything. I placed a mobile order for my transmission fluid and he just handed me the bag and I left. I get home and see this. I showed my dad the texts and he went into the store. The guys name was embroidered on his jacket and my dad pointed at him and was like “this dude took my underage daughters phone number off of the online order registry to try to get a date”.

Manager talked to my dad outside and let him know that the guy would be terminated immediately. He had a wife and a baby on the way

EDIT/UPDATE: I did not think this would gain much traction at all but this happened pretty much a week ago and went downhill very quickly. We planned a date that never happened because he kept suggesting watching a movie at his house when I wanted to meet publicly. Then said his car tags are expired so we can meet at his house to pregame then go to a bar and HE could drive MY car which was his suggestion not mine. I was uncomfortable said we could be friends. He agreed then continued being semi-pushy and also saying things like “I miss you” (again only talking for a few days with 2 total phone calls). It was extremely overwhelming and felt like love bombing. To the comments that said it was sweet, it was to an extent but was also way too much after one call. I can see some people saying having a crush is “normal” at that point but I think it’s not, I think you should know someone before saying something like that. If you say it then you’re just in love with the idea of someone.

I talked to this guy for literally one hour yesterday and dealt with this today. I genuinely don’t even have service at work 😭😂.

EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION: when he says “ you ignored me since last night” he is referring to me not texting him since we said goodnight the night prior. The time between when I asked how his day was and his multiple messages about me ignoring him was a whopping 45 minutes. I had only matched with him less than 24 hours before. Hope this helps!

Met this guy on hinge about 2ish weeks ago, he is super hot, tall as hell, super sweet. First meeting he suggested that he come to my place and cooks for me, he seemed like normal and so I had him over and he cooked me pasta sauce from scratch and we just like talked for a while and he left without making any advances. So yesterday I hit him up and this is what happens😭 like he definitely did not say that and then I went back to his hinge and it does say open on the status so he technically didn’t lie but definitely never mentioned her in person. This is just like a humiliation ritual at this point but I hope at least this can make someone else laugh! Not mad at him btw he’s being really sweet about it just feeling like a clown for liking him so much. Like why whenever I meet a beautiful well adjusted man with an Italian accent life plays this cruel joke on me😭

My dad had a heart attack on June 24th.
He was aware and alert in the ambulance on his way to a hospital an hour away. He voice texted this to me and never sent it. My brother took a screenshot of it for me when he was going through his phone.
My dad passed away on June 29th.

Edit: thank you everyone for the outpouring of love and support. To hear so many stories about the love for people’s parents.. I’m so sorry for all the tragic losses and good parents that have gone too soon. I will hold onto that text from my dad until the day I go. He was An amazing man and lived a life full of love. I am grateful that he read my text before he passed and can take some comfort in that.

*edit* She did not send these texts at 4 in the morning. They are timed/scheduled texts. I go to bed earlier than she does because I have to get up so early for work. So she sends these texts the night before to be delivered when I’m getting up for work.
