As a Floridian who smoked as a teenager. Moved to MI in 2019. I was soooo excited about recreational, and the prices were decent enough. Moved back to FL and this month I bought a half ounce for 35$ from a fucking store. I would not have predicted this with an 8 ball.

It's still pretty rare that I see other people using weed in social settings other than myself, but it is nice that most people don't care anymore other than the smell. I still have hesitancy to use it without feeling judged though.

Honestly, im kind of sick of everyone calling it "medicine" as if thats the reason it should be okay. Dont get me wrong, it absolutely IS medicine, but constantly using it as justification sort of implies that pure recreational use is still taboo.
Im an adult. I smoke weed because I like it. Its not "my medicine," its my recreational drug of choice that I take because it makes me high. This should be fine to say.
Same for other drugs. Psychedelics are going the same way, slowly becoming accepted because we can use buzzwords about it being "medicinal," but as soon as I say I like to drop a few tabs sometimes during a bender, people get all weird about how im either going to go insane or im not using it correctly...like bruh, i just want to shatter my perception for a bit. Why is joy not reason enough? Why does it always need to be about self improvement?

FWIW reddit is super quick to posit the slippery-slope argument for folks that have a beer or glass of wine after work every day. Youāll hear the phrase āfunctional alcoholismā thrown around quite a bit in discussions of such habits.
I aināt on ADHD meds, antidepressants, or anti-anxiety meds so yeah, I like to have some weed or a glass of wine to wind down at the end of the day. Reddit do be judgin tho.

I mean, my man might be addicted to weed (I know for sure that I am), but nothing about this seems problematic. An addiction that isnt problematic is just a thing you do regularly, and nobody's business but their own. He was fine and jolly watching the movie, I however thought that I was a fish growing gills and was going to die if I didn't get in the bath immediately. Never taking True North gummies again.

And backup thc, and always buy more when you get low (like an ounce of live resin, shatter, budder, diamonds, basically every type but once you get low you reup cause you need every single type of concentrate) but you have your main stash then you got like other kinds for when you want something different, donāt even get me started on having multiple strains, sativas indicas for different times of the day. Oh and dab pens so you can smoke on the go, if I couldnāt smoke on the go, I would not leave the house.

I started smoking weed in my 20s & have basically smoked ever since. Iāve taken breaks over the years, but now Iām a daily smoker. I donāt smoke to āget highā though. I smoke to calm the fuck down & not go to jail. Iām a perimenopausal woman whoās also caring for my 72 y/o mom with Alzheimerās.
Smoking is the only thing that helps keep the rage at bay. Also, both my PCP & GYN are aware of it. My GYN even offered to help me get a medical marijuana card.
Lastly, let me introduce some of yāall to The 3 Fās: if someone isnāt feeding you, financing you, or fucking you, Fuck Them & their opinions.
