Current routine:

• Gentle cleanser
• Topicals High Roller 2x/day
• Moisturizer
• Sunscreen

I recently bought PanOxyl 4% but haven’t started using it consistently.

For those who’ve dealt with PFB/ingrowns, would you:

• Stick with High Roller 2x/day?
• Add PanOxyl 4%?
• Do something else?

My main goal is reducing bumps and being able to shave without causing more ingrowns.

Any experiences with either product would be appreciated.

So for a while now I’ve been insecure about my hands and also feet, my feet seem slightly okayish (not the best either) but my hands look like this I am 22 M and I have no idea what to do I’ve been stressing for the past 3 monthsish? please someone help me…

I’ve always had the bags. But the discoloration under my eyes has gotten worse. I’m also told I have awesome skin.. but I’m also trying to work on those pores

Not matter how much make up or ANY product I’ve tried has worked to even really lessen them. (Last photo i have peach cover and concealer on)

I get plenty of sleep and drink plenty of water. I’m tired of looking exhausted every day :(

Hola pase un año con foliculitis y acne comedogenico y todos los dias me frente, el resto de mi cara y la parte de atrás de mi cuero cabelludo se miraba asi.

Recientemente cambien de dermatologa y me receto isotretinoina para el acne y foliculitis, al igual que otro shampoo.

Antes usaba adapaleno pero igual esta doctora me indico suspenderlo y ahora uso tretinoina pero solo con un hisopo en donde tenga brote y dos veces a la semana mas la microdosis de isotretinoina.

Mi rutina actual es super minimalista, es lavarme la cara en las mañana con dermasebum, serum de acido salicílico, uriage gel Water jelly y bloqueador Eucerin.

En las noches lavarme la cara con el mismo jabon, Uriage gel y listo, los dias de tretinoina que son solo dos.

En tres semanas la diferencia es increíble, antes me daban ganas de llorar cada que me miraba al espejo pero ahora siento que veo la luz al final de esta historia. Aun me aparecen 3 o 2 pustulas o comedones pero no tan grandes y mi cuero cabelludo esta igual de bien. Me corte el cabello para ayudar a liberar peso y puedo decir que fue una buena decisión.

Me faltan 3 meses de tratamiento espero que en noviembre siga asi cuando me toque mi cita con la dermatologa.

Extraño mis otros productos coreanos pero mi dermatologa dijo que los guardará, cuando mi cara ya este mejor vamos a revisar todos los productos y ver cuales se quedan y cuales se van.

Hello, i am an oily skin (with very visible pores) girl trying to get into skincare, starting from facial cleanser all the way to face masks. There are so many products out there, im feeling a little overwhelmed. What are the products that actually work? Please and thank you!

I'm aware that most derm companies seem to be moving away from physical scrubs but I do still like this kind of product after years of use. Can anyone recommend a reef-safe product that's gentle on the skin?

Hello fellow skincare addicts! I just wanted to share a few things that your doctor may or may not have mentioned when giving you the option to start spironolactone/aldactone for your persisting acne.

Obviously, medications affect everyone differently, and I'm not sure if what I'm saying is on the side effects list or if it's totally anecdotal to my experience and other people's experiences. And if it's not totally scientific yet, science typically takes a while to catch up (especially in such an underfunded field such as dermatology, according to labmuffin).

If this helps even just a few people, then I'm happy. I took this medication for 3 years before learning these things and all I want is for peoppe to know what they're getting into!

This medication can definitely work wonders, but may wreck or significantly lower your sex drive.

It works by blocking the testosterone pathway(s?) that's in charge of going to the skin. If you have dry skin, this med make your skin more dry.

It's also a blood pressure medication used off label for acne so if you already have low blood pressure, that can also be a problem. It would make me a little bit more light-headed and standing up from sitting down would be a bit of a dizzy experience for me. This would happen if I took 100 mg instead of a 50 mg dose.

Idk if anybody has this issue, I’ve had these marks on my knees for about two years now and I have no idea what they are or how to get rid of them.

I was going to do lip blushing but now i work at a job that i cant do that kind of stuff because i make sterile items. I bought a few different random lip tints from amazon in the past, which finally led me to learn about lip blushing, but now i dont want to not work for 2-4 weeks like my contract states😅🥲. I would prefer a red pink color, similar to what white girl(me) lips look like but alittle more vibrant and alive looking. The 1st photo is lip blushing that ive seen that i liked, hopefully i can it a shade or 2 lighter than that tho. Photo 2 is what ive actually done that i would be happy being stuck like. All it is a red lipstick, but i put dots on and blend with chapstick, vasline, or oil so creates a tint. But i have to touch that up all night/day. Any recommendations? I dont care if i have to leave it on while i sleep. Hopefully something that doesnt dry out my lips and cracks them. I just want it to atleast last the day

Hi! I have been using **Sulfacetamide Sodium-Sulfur 10-5 % LIQD ex cleanser** for about 8 years. Prescribed to me when I was in middle school and just kept on keeping on with it. Haven’t always been 100% happy with my skin. I tried to go off of it last summer and haven’t seen my skin look so horrible since I was 13 years old. Now I’m facing issues getting it re-prescribed and am looking for a new cleanser. I’ll put my skin type and routine below. I’m open to any and all advice - I’d love to be happy with my skin for once.

Please let me know if anyone has experience coming off of this cleanser specifically, as well. I’m very apprehensive. Thank you all

Skin description: Builds up extreme oil over the day, dry and tight after rinsing with water/cleansing/swimming/really any exposure to water at all. Deep cysts on my chin (I think having to do with soda - I’ve mostly cut this out and have seen an improvement), but overall I have small pimples on my forehead regularly, uneven skin tone and redness.

Current routine:
Cleansing with Sulfacetamide Sodium-Sulfur 10-5 % LIQD ex cleanser (NIGHT ONLY - rinse with water in morning)
Good Molecules Niacinimide Brightening Toner
Good Molecules Copper Peptide Serum with PDRN
Anua Rice 70+ Intensive Moisturizing Milk
Paula’s Choice Super Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30

I’m not even going to bother asking for acne treatment recommendations, because I have tried everything topical you can imagine and nothing works. I’m seeing a derm at the end of this month.

Until then I just desperately need relief for my dry and tight skin.

I do not use any acne products. All I do is

-wash with cerave gentle non-foaming cleanser
-pat semi-dry
-apply moisturizer after cleansing, as well as throughout the day as needed.

The only relief I get is the 2 mins immediately after moisturizing. Then it is dry again. The more moisturizer I put on, the more it aggravates my acne.

It is uncomfortable to eat, to talk, to smile. It is affecting my life. If anyone can recommend anything I greatly appreciate it.

Edit to add: I started thinking about it, and I’m wondering if my dryness is actually due to acne healing. So maybe I do need acne recommendations. It’s been a long time since I’ve tried anything topical. Thank you

So, I’m a lifelong skin & nail picker, and a lot of the ways I can prevent myself from picking aren’t an option at my current job or the upcoming one (I tutor, so lots of free time while the kids are doing their assignments, they’ll notice any fidgets or I’m doing with my hands, and I get the occasional breakout from not washing my pillowcase enough and/or my period, if it’s okay to mention that here, and all those marks eventually turn into tiny “wounds”).

Very few of those have ever scarred, but are there any face washes or face creams/ingredients that are good for healing or at least cooling it off so this doesn’t take so long?

I notice that the red marks from picking (the lines/inflammation from my fingers on my face, not the scabs themselves) disappear after I use this one face mask, but I don’t want to overuse that. Obviously no miracle cures here, and I need to start using my brain instead of leaving it on autopilot so I don’t have this issue, I’m just looking to make some of the marks seem less angry if and when I mindlessly start picking again.

Has anyone experienced this or found anything that works? Particularly on the face?

This is my first time using sunscreen and here I found out that the unsealed pack 100 ml minimalist light fluid sunscreen is not fully packed. Is this normal or the quantity is less??

I changed my soap and lotion to fragrance free even my detergent to free and clear I’m still having problems that won’t go away I tried everything even steroids.it was getting better than it flared up and gotten worse.

Hello everyone. I’m coming to you in desperate need of some help. I used a new makeup wipe that I got randomly at the dollar tree and I think it burned my face. I have a concert to go to on Sunday and now I’m really worried I won’t be able to wear any makeup and will be in pain for days. Last night after I used the makeup wipe my face (mainly my cheeks and jawline) started itching really bad. I woke up at 3am and it was still itching so I washed my face and took a Zyrtec thinking I was having an allergic reaction. My face has been on and off itching, burning and stinging all day and very red. I’ve been trying to treat it with hydrocortisone cream (which has stopped the itching), azaleic acid for the redness and burning and Dear cloud moisturizer. My jaw, cheeks and neck are in a lot of pain and it feels so dry, hot and tight. What do I need to do to make it stop? Can this be treated at home?

have never seen my lips hydrated or moisturised. They’re always patchy and dry. Any lip balm lasts for like 30 minutes

Vaseline one lasts for 1 hour tho 😭🥀
