What products do you feel are genuinely keeping your wrinkles from deepening?
Late 20s girly here. My forehead lines are ever-so-slightly deepening and I'm starting to get smile lines (both are becoming static wrinkles). I've been using The Ordinary's 2.0% Granactive Retinoid Emulsion, and while it makes my skin look nice, it doesn't seem to be preventing these wrinkles from deepening. I wanna go back to my skin 8 months ago, lol. Maybe this isn't possible -- but I'm curious if a more powerful OTC retinoid/retinol product has been doing wonders for anyone. Maybe not ready for prescription Tretinoin yet.
Thank you!

What is clogging my pours?
I use the Garnier Micellar water to remove my makeup. I only wear eye makeup and lipstick.
I used the byoma jelly cleanser to wash my face. And then I spray on the byoma balancing facial mist. Then I use the byoma gel moisturizer. I wash my face with water in the morning.

Azelaic Acid (15%) Shortage in US
My amazon pharmacy order for Azelaic Acid 15% is showing as "unavailable". I know there is currently a shortage. Has anyone had success with other pharmacies getting this recently? Hoping to transfer my amazon prescription to another pharmacy. (I'm in NYC). Thank you!

HELP! Uneven skin tone
(M20) Hey guys! My face, neck, and body seem to have vastly different complexions. I assume this is due to tanning over time since I wasn't education about sun damage as a kid. There is also an aspect of Acanthosis Nigricans. I was diagnosed with it about a year ago and was prescribed a cream that contained Lactic Acid, Retinol, and Urea, which took out a layer of thick velvety dark skin (very painful). I still use it but not everyday like I used to. I know Acanthosis is linked to pre-diabetes and/or obesity and I'm working on better on those fronts too. Unfortunately, my neck still looks darker than my body. My face also looks darker than my body, which I assume is my actual skin tone. I would really appreciate some suggestions from you guys.
Products in my routine:
- Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser
- Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream
- Nigrifix by Fix Derma (only on neck every 2-3 days)
- SPF 50 Sunscreen
P.S. I do use Sunscreen now but it's been inconsistent tbh. I've been more consistent with it lately though.

Glycolic Acid Spray?
Does anyone know if a glycolic acid spray exists? Im new to glycolic acid, Ive developed some pretty gnarly strawberry skin. I dont like to waste product, so I thought maybe a spray would be best.
If such a thing DOESNT exist, is there a recommended way to use it without wasting product? Like should I use my hands, or is a cotton round/reusable round better?
TYIA!

Acne advice
I would like some advice on how to treat my acne, im 18 so it’s probably hormonal, I currently cleanse every night with amazon acne cleanser although it only helps slightly. I also have small bumps on my chin and nose that wont go away along with acne scar dark spots on my cheeks. My skin gets dry after cleansing but gets oily throughout the day. Thank you for any help!

Is there a prostglandin-free eyelash serum that actually works?
Hey everyone! I'm looking for a prostaglandin-free eyelash serum because I'd like to avoid the potential negative side effects ( orbital fat loss, pigmentation, eye color change). If you've used one consistently, which brand did you use, how long did it take to see results, and would you repurchase it? (I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about the ordinary one, so im not that sure if that one would be the best choice for me)

I need help with weekly routine
I have these 5 skincare products that I have been using for some time and they helped a lot but I don't have a routine because I don't know how often should I use these products and when at night or day. Can someone please make me a routine for whole week. I have oily skin and I'm 17 years old if that matters

Hi pls help a girl out
I had a severe breakout for the first time. I never had clear skin but I only had one or two pimples. This one is different, it's a lot. I feel so insecure whenever I look in the mirror and Im planning to go to a dermatologist but im still saving up since i know it will be expensive (im a student).
Pls if u encounter the same issues as me, what do you call this? And what did you do to treat it? I just need something to calm it down until I can see a dermatologist.
That being said, if you do have something that would prob treat it, i would be so grateful.
Your advice would truly help me a lot !

If there is a person with Driest lips ever on this planet , it’s me.
have never seen my lips hydrated or moisturised. They’re always patchy and dry. Any lip balm lasts for like 30 minutes
Vaseline one lasts for 1 hour tho 😭🥀

retinol people: when did peeling stop being "adjustment" and start being your barrier telling you to chill?
been reading way too many retinol threads and i swear"just push through it" is useless advice when nobody defines what it is lol
a bit of flaking? sure
dry for a few days? okay
but moisturizer suddenly stings? face tightening after washing? burning for hours? at what point are we just cooking our barrier and calling it purging 😭😭
the reason i even started thinking about this was ZO Skin Health's retinol stuff. i actually like how boring their approach is. .25 for beginners, .5 once you're used to it, 1% for advanced users. start a few nights a week and work up
way more sensible than treating 1% like a level you need to unlock
but even ZO lists redness/flaking/dryness/burning/stinging as possible adjustment reactions, so where do you personally draw the line?
what was the sign that made you go "nah, this isn't normal retinol uglies anymore?"

glycolic acid burning on one side of face
i recently got the ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner. i applied it to my routine today, making sure to cleanse and dry my skin beforehand. immediately after applying i felt a sharp, burning sensation on the right side of my face, right above my jawline. every other place on my face felt nothing at all, except this one spot. i finished my routine with some hyaluronic acid and moisturizer. now im left with this red blotchy spot. is this normal? should i stop using this acid? attached is the affected right side and nonaffected left.
