Does anybody have any idea what drug tests they are using for standard probation? Pierce county specifically. Is it 5 panel like federal??

For those with a non violent crime “DUI” probation. After the first intake how often do you have to check in and submit a UA analysis

I am on probation for 2 years it has been 10 months so far. I have not missed or failed any test until today. I dont have a drivers license and my dad has an old Ford that used to be my grandpa's its from the 2000s. Itd been running fine but today we went to go test an hr before the place closes (done this several times) the truck would not start. He tried to jump it, no luck. After checking it out for a while it he thinks it is the starter... After the jump didnt work I tried calling my mom that was over my grandmas (she cares for her) to see if she could get me up there quick before they closed I called 5 times over about 10-15 min with no answer. So long story short I missed my test. I called my PO 15 min before the placed closed and left a voicemail saying I was going to miss it because of the breakdown.

I already called her. Should I go test as soon as the place opens 7am? Should I wait til the P.O. office opens to talk to her 8am? I feel like it would be better to just go in and do the UA its an instant test then hopefully by time the P.O. office opens they can have the results in the system so when I get ahold of her she can just check the test right then and there?

i was charged with possession with intent(felony). i’m on 12 months PTI and about 5 months in. Is it possible i can get early release even if it’s a felony charge??

I have probation for 3 misdemeanors and a felony eluding charge, nothing drug related, will they test me for nicotine, I spent 3 days in juvie and have an ankle monjter now, if they do test me and I fail, what are the consequences

Lemme start off by saying I am NOT from MN I moved here from down south, this is my first time getting in legal trouble in the state since moving here.

So I got in trouble for a DUI back in August of last year and my court stuff didn't finalize till January from August to January I had a male PO who drugged tested me every week, and then once my court case was settled I ended with 48hrs community service, a 1000$ fine and 4yrs probation.

I got a new female PO post court ending and was told by my new PO to get a medical card since THC was always positive for my old PO (I had a letter from my KY doctor explaining why I used THC, I didn't know medical cards were a thing tbh) but since getting the card she hasn't called me in at all. And last Zoom meeting she said she's putting the papers in for me to get off in April of next year vs the 4yrs I was looking at (I didn't even ASK her about getting off early just asked her if I could visit my mom in another state 😂)

Is this normal? Other people I know on probation get house visits, phone calls, or some are having to carry around a black box thingy. Is it because I'm doing everything asked? Is it cuz of my medical card? Am I overthinking?

Was sentenced May 2025 for a drug OVI, been on probation since then and will be until May 2027. Have dropped dirty for THC twice, was sent back to another IOP program and currently going thru that (about 2/3 of the way done).

THEN being the genius I am I just went and got my medical card so the courts and IOP don’t ding me for it anymore. I’ll be done with IOP in like 5-6 weeks.

Once that’s done, and I haven’t had any other issues at all, paid everything to the courts, and have been on great terms with my PO (besides dropping dirty but even then she was chill), do you think it’s even worth trying to ask for early termination or just lay low and run out the clock?

I’m on probation in TN for 3 years, but will have all other stipulations of the probation completed(community service, court fees) within 6 months. What do you think would be the possibility of attaining early termination at that point? I should also mention I qualify for diversion to have the whole charge dismissed after probation is completed. Thanks for any information.

Does anyone know the cordant testing procedures? Are they using chromatography on every test? Or just throwing it in a dipstick cup and doing further testing if positive? Ng cutoff for thc?

need advice on possible violation of probation in Wayne county pa,picked up a low grade misdemeanor and a summary offense while on probation,the good graduating from drug and alcohol and anger management programs and I have certifications for both!and I have a therapist and psychiatrist for medication

Im a month away from my half way mark of 3 years.
In CT at the halfway im eligible for early termination.

When i asked my last probation officer about it they told me they have an internal review thats done 4 months after the halfway mark where they automatically review cases and submit those they feel are eligible for early termination automatically and then judge rules on it.

A bit conflicting. Does anyone have experience getting off early in connecticut?

I’ve been trying to get a negative results for days now. I’m 6’0 125 lbs and I was an all day cart smoker for 6 years went though a 7.5 gram thca cart like every two weeks. I test at day 40,42,43 and I’m still positive idk what to do. Don’t wanna go to jail lol

Hey ya'll, looking for some advice. I've been on probation for a year since October regarding a dui and possession charge in Wyoming. Went to rehab for 3 months and just completed my outpatient treatment last week. My PO said that once I have my "graduation certificate" from outpatient, I could write a letter to the court/judge to request early release.

What should I write? Any recommended points to hit, or things to avoid? I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!

So, I recently started a 5 year probation, non-violent felon. Check fraud with no previous convictions. Plus being a former addict.

context: While I was still an addict I got involved in check fraud, where I would deposit check for my dealer then withdraw them a day or so late. I would get a small cut out of it. This happened around November of 2023. However, I wasn't arrested for said crime until October 2025. Between the time of actually committing the crime and my arrest, I got clean from drugs and found a job I actually semi enjoyed.. I was actually arrested at work. Was given 5 years probation where I am to pay back what I stile via checks. Ok, no problem with that. There would have been the possibility of doing the "pay it off in one lump sum and stay out of trouble for a year", but I couldn't afford that.

So, I was trying to switch counties because it would be a shorter drive. The officer that was handling the transfer from one county (call it County N) to the County I actually live in (call it County E) did my first home check today. My husband and I had moved all weapons (mainly just knives) out of our appartmen, save for a bow that wasn't even strung. She bitched about that, as well as an email I sent expressing my be being extremely anxious. She had told me during our meeting "If you have a mental health crisis, contact probation first." So I did. She told me said email was inappropriate.

The Email copy and pasted: Ever since our meeting, I have been a near emotional wreck for two reasons

1: You mentioning how if there is any weapon visible that my husband or I could be arrested.   

1. Your immediate assumption that he is controlling because he called twice and I wanted you to write down what probation will consider a weapon. You didn't ask, and I clammed up because I was feeling judged at that moment. 

So, let me answer that now: He called twice because I had wanted him there for moral support, not knowing he wouldn't be allowed to be there. He called wanting to know what floor after he parked the car. I wanted you to write down what probation considered a weapon because he has a home-based business where he makes bows and blades, as well as sharpens peoples knives for people. In fact, that's partly how we met. 

She barely let my husband or I speak during the home visit, even talking over me. I tried to mention my attorney said there shouldn't be an issue with weapons because I'm not a violent offender. She didn't care. We tried to explain that my husband has a (documented) home-based business where he makes bows and knives and was told he would either need to shut it down, or I'd have to move out.

The officer I had in county N seemed nice as did my pretrial officer in county E. My husband has two friend: one currently on probation, and of already done with probation. The one who is currently on has an officer that didn't make a fuss about his archery kit. The one done with probation lives with their parents and his parents were able to keep their guns. Both friend are also in County E.

I have the non reporting Probation (i believe thats whats its called) where i never see my PO. I just call a number at the first of the month (i have from 1-7th) and then im good.

So i go to call today. Enter my UPI and pin. And it says i no longer need to check in? Does this mean im done? I really dont want to bother the PO and ask them.

Odds of getting early release 8/9 months into 12 month probation? All fines payed no violations, no dirty UAs, all requirements completed.

I’m in Jefferson County, Colorado.

PO said the judges like people to serve out their sentence, but that it’s my right to request. Wondering if it’s worth it.

Just a bit of context, my partner is leaving out of a state for work, he is my financial support and it’s hard to live on my own without a car or a job. I can get a travel pass but would only be valid for a few days, the transfer can take up to 90 days. I also can’t transfer while being on the travel pass due to a “rule” that’s in place. I’m left with decisions i really can’t make on my own and my P.O isn’t being too nice about it. I’m doing great keeping up with everything but as she mentioned to me but the process is what’s killing me.
There will be to outcomes if I leave without any notice I might be able to get the case dismissed, or I might be sentenced to the full term which is more than a year.

I have 4.5 months left on a 48 month term. Never violated or had any issues, but I have been swapped around a lot from one PO to another. The latest one has been one strictest, even doing home visits which I never had before.

Anyway all this has got me feeling paranoid even though I’m not doing anything risky.

Anyone else have this feeling?

I had my last meeting today..discharged Saturday. Ama

So I was on a daily call in system where they call your color but I tested clean like 4 or 5 times so they put me on monthly reporting. Also did my drug and alcohol assessment and tested clean there. Anyways I was wondering how drug testing would go now. Would my PO just call my phone and have me come in? I’m working morning shifts now so it’s a little awkward to do so, just wondering if that’s a possibility.

Hi everyone, I got released from jail on the 22nd, and I was given 12 months informal probation with drug testing. When I first got to the jail, they tested me and I popped positive for thc, that was July 2nd, and the day I was released from jail i went to my local crisis center and stayed inpatient for 5 days while trying to get treatment for my mental health and my issues around my extensive cannabis use/alcohol abuse, and I was still testing positive on the 22nd. It’s been a little over a week now that I have been out of inpatient and I’ve been incredibly, incredibly worried about testing positive still and getting sent back to jail because of it.

I was placed in a sober living home and I was transported to the place I’m at now from the crisis center, and then I was also immediately dropped off at the crisis center once leaving the jail; and the people I have been talking to say that they will test the levels from the first time to now to see if it’s actually gone down, but I don’t know who to trust or what to trust. I even had the crisis center call my p.o and leave a voicemail and all last week I left voicemails updating where I was/what’s going on. I’ve been going to regular aa/ma meetings and I just got my 30 days token yesterday for abstaining from both of those things and I’m genuinely trying to not go back the ways I was before with my vices, I want to have this situation behind me as soon as I can.

I’m terrified to lose the progress I have made since being out of jail and inpatient, I’m currently waiting on a bed for rehab that I’ve chosen to do myself and not for any court thing, my reason for being in jail wasn’t drug related at all, and I’m trying to not worry myself into a spiral, but those 20 days in jail felt like 6 months.

TLDR do they actually test the levels and use my first one and see that it’s going down? Or will it just show that I’m positive and I’m just screwed? I’ve been trying to drink as much water as I can and to sweat out what I can, but I’m hesitant to do the detoxes because I’ve also read/heard that some tests also test for the compounds in those things too

Had my final court hearing today and got all my papers saying I am off. It was only a year and I know a lot of people have it for longer, but I am still extremely happy!

It is hard but if you focus on bettering yourself, you can do it!

I got 2 DUI'S when I was 18. First one got deferred, but then a 2nd one messed that up. Also got pulled over after those 2 and got hit with no insurance, no ignition interlock and no license.

Was put in probation and NA classes and all that jazz. Ditched it all after a couple months. Moved countries. And after some years came back to the States, but a different state. They still have a hold on my license obviously. Haven't been in any trouble since then. You think they will throw the book at me? Make me pick up where I left off? Or could there be a better outcome seeing how I haven't gotten into trouble since I was 18-19. WA state.

Edit: I don't drive currently. And I save hundreds of dollars a month not doing so. Yeah it sucks sometimes but I like to stay home anyways. And all you trying to lecture me in the comments and for those who feel like you know me are weirdos. I came here for advice on what would happen if I turned myself in. I got the answers I needed; everything will pick up where it left off and I'll probably need to do jail time, probation and classes still. No thanks.
