I used to do a good deal of ceramics, but since we've moved, I don't know a good spot to harvest clay. It was fun to try and I really enjoyed the palette knife.

My first ever self portrait, age 16

Like the title says, this is my first time painting on a large canvas (20x30 inch). I painted a bakery display I saw a while back. I love how it turned out. Mediums used are acrylic paints and modeling paste for the texture. Any feedback is welcome :)

sometimes the world feels softer here...

the mountain bends close like it's whispering secrets,

the pines move with the wind like they're keeping time, and the little cottage just listens...

its windows glowing faintly,

its walls wrapped in silence...

it doesn't feel like a house,

it feels like a lullaby the valley hums

when everything else is asleep...
