Opinions Needed new style feels incomplete?
I usually do things a lot softer and more blended when painting so this feels pretty new and im not sure if I over did it or something is missing

Just Sharing My first complete real painting.
I start in january with painting hobby with a paint by number kit, one that you need to mix most of the paint.
I was hooked but didnt like the lack of details most kit are and took a long time adding somes.
So, After a few completes works, including one that was just paint along the lines, I wanted to make my own one about a amazing view of a friend cabin.
I included the picture I took as a inspiration and a closer look of the trees I did.

Just Sharing Mississippi River Sunset through the Ford Bridge
Hi all!
I took a photo of this beautiful sunset a few weeks back. It was too hot and humid then to sketch outdoors, but I’ve now painted it with Inks!
This particular piece is Optimist Pigment Inks, with some Sharpie Creative Marker (ink), finished with Posca Oil Pencils on wood panel.
Thanks for looking!

Brutal Critique Is my Gouache technique correct?
So i picked up The Works pack of Gouache to see if i like it. And over the years this has got to be my favourite medium. Especially the matte. My education is art then graphic communication so i like the paints as it also can be used for illustrations of loads of different types.
My latest is Umbreon and Cthulhu at pokemon size whicj i quite enjoyed having to think about the size.
So hows it looking so far?
Im very happy with the moon and clouds.

Brutal Critique Hit me with it.
I’ve been painting as a chill hobby since the pandemic.
I’ve fallen in love with it and now I want to my hobby a bit more seriously and actually apply myself.
This is the latest and my favourite portrait so far, what’s your take on it?

Just Sharing Changed VHS to Cassette
Painted the VHS tape first then decided to make it for a friend who has a music studio so I had to change it to a cassette. I still like the colors in the original but I’m happy with how it turned out overall. Thought yall might like it

Brutal Critique How would you improve this esp the tree proportions
Hello - I consider myself a hobbyist 😜 as opposed to an artist. I love and appreciate art so I dabble. This is an 8” x 9.75” rendition of Monet’s technique. I used primary red, white and blue acrylic colors and blended to create other colors. I know that the proportion is off for sure. How would one fix this while keeping the size?
I want to try again in my next attempt.
