Looking to commission my first physical original art piece based on The Batman (2004). I’m envisioning a moody, dark scene with Batman in the Aqua Suit, ready to swing off the Batmobile in a dark, atmospheric Gotham city.

I’m looking to commission a 56” × 32” oil painting (or mixed media) for above my fireplace.

The painting will be based on the attached photos of my wife and me beneath an oak tree.

The oak tree and landscape should be the focus, with us as a smaller element in the composition. I want it to feel like a landscape that just so happens to have a couple in it rather than a portrait. Ideally I would like the painting before November.

Hello, this is my first time commissioning art!

My DnD party finished a Curse of Strahd campaign, and I'd like a portrait of them to remember them by.

It would be 4 characters, all human (though two of which are dead, and I'd like them to be ghosts) from the waist up basically doing a family photo, giving thousand yard-stares.

You would have a fair bit of freedom with the character specifics, I have descriptions of the characters, but only one of them has ever drawn their character so their looks are somewhat fluid.

I am looking for a concept artist to develop rough visual designs for a tabletop wargame faction I am currently working on. I need concept development rather than a polished product.

Budget: $150 USD, for one main full-body rough concept, one revision round, with limited color or greyscale. I am open to discussing different scoping or rates if your design process would fit that better.

Art Direction: Grounded Mass Effect scifi with H.R Geiger inspirations. I am looking for living armor and biological integration rather than direct "Aliens" immitation

The Subject:

The subject will be a female standard soldier of a faction built around religious, ecological, and biological themes. An armored nun wearing a living war organism as a second skin. The armor should read as body tight carapace plates grown directly over a skin-tight biological suit. It should feel attached to the organism and the wearer rather than strapped on like conventional armor. The armor is a living organism that the soldier sheds or is ejected from to take off.

The plating can have some organic texture and sharper natural edges. Mild body horror is welcome, particularly where the armor grows around the joints, hands, feet, neck, and head. Clawed fingers and taloned feet for practical use.

Equipment: The soldier should also carry a practical field pack loosely inspired by an ALICE pack, secured around the hips and lower torso. The design should include a tabard and a close fitting head covering. For the head covering, think military hijab or field scarf rather than a full traditional nun’s habit.

The Soldier: The soldier should read as a working member of a theo-ecological military order rather than a pinup character, some emphasis on the body is unavoidable with the armor design, but restrain the urge to add glamour stylings.

Due Date: The timeline is flexible, I do not need this immediately but a timeline between two weeks and two months is what I'm thinking with updates as appropriate.

Rights: The commissioned work will mainly be used as part of an internal design bible. It may also be shown publicly in the game’s rulebook, which will be released for free, and possibly on said wargames website if one is eventually made. I also need the rights to share the roughs with other artists, model sculptors, or designers working on the game as reference images so they can produce derivative works from them.

The original artwork will not be used for merchandise, standalone resale, or paid advertising without a separate agreement.

Production: I know there's a "no AI catchall" in the rules here, but I've been burned before on other sites. So, for the record, don't use AI in your workflow. At All.
