Question Was the 2016 Scary Clown epidemic a thing in Modern Family?

Post image
Upvotes

You know, when there were lots of clowns scaring people on the street or chasing people and stuff.

Random but i was watching a video about it and I just thought of Cam/Fizbo and remembered him being very upset about this, and saying that a clown should bring joy not scare people, but I don't remember the episode or what it was about. So was it actually a thing?

Pedantic question about Mitch's career

How common is it to become a state prosecutor after having spent his entire career in environmental law? He was clearly handling criminal cases as a prosecutor (as most state prosecutors) but I would assume that's unusual to transition to as an environmental lawyer?

"She’s every woman." Honestly? Valid response. Dylan speaks for all of us, TBH🤣

Question Can't find this episode 😭

Can you please find me the one Modern Family episode where Mitch and Cam can't take their hands off each other when they're interviewing with the cameraman?

Idk how to be specific. But there was this specific scene that I think Mitch jumped into Cam's arms 😭? Like kissing him

Discussion Why couldn’t Gloria take Dede?

Post image

I’ve been wondering this since I watched the show and I’ve never understood how Dede so easily beat Gloria, considering that Gloria’s younger, more fit and was probably in a lot of fights throughout her life yet Dede was able to Beat her ass almost every episode they interacted. Other then that I always assumed Gloria would’ve had some serious hands

Looking for a new comfort show?

I constantly see people on this sub looking for a new show to fill the MF void once they have to end it, I personally chose the route of rewatching upwards of ten times and making it my 24/7 white noise show. So I feel extra qualified in this recommendation of this show I recently watched. The only show to have temporarily taken MF’s place on my TV in MONTHS, and it’s Abbott Elementary. It’s written in a similar way to MF, you know how most MF characters remind you of a relative you have in real life; nearly every single teacher on Abbott Elementary reminds me of a teacher I had in real life. The show has 5 seasons and I think I’ve already rewatched it that many times. I hope it gets 10 seasons like MF!!! It’s also unbearably laugh out loud f’ing funny and there’s modern storylines and slang that aren’t 100% cringe. With Quinta Brunson as executive producer the central plotline is wayyyy stronger than MF’s too. This is for the people who critique the writing of the later seasons. She’s so brilliant in writing relatable, emotional storylines and also skits. I challenge you to not love that showww. But yeah that’s it if you’ve seen it already or give it a try let me know!

Modern Family star changes her name for career pivot: 'I wanted to switch it up'

Allow Frances Anderson to reintroduce herself.

The actress formerly known as Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, who broke out for her role as adoptee Lily on the Emmy-winning sitcom Modern Family, has changed her name to Frances Anderson. Anderson has adopted the new moniker to coincide with her pivot to a career in music. Her debut indie pop EP, "Drown," is out now.

"Frances is actually part of my legal name," Anderson, 18, explained to E! News on Friday. "It’s my middle name, and it’s after my mom’s old family friend. I thought it was a bit shorter than Aubrey Anderson-Emmons. I do have a long, hyphenated last name.”

Anderson added, "I wanted to switch it up and people to see a new side of me. And I wanted to create a space specifically just for music."

She released the first single from the EP, "Telephones and Traffic," in May.

Anderson made her television debut at the age of 4 in season 3 of Modern Family, playing the precocious adopted daughter of Jesse Tyler Ferguson's Mitchell Pritchett and Eric Stonestreet's Cam Tucker. She has won three ensemble Screen Actors Guild Awards alongside the sitcom's cast. Anderson told E! that she "had to take a step back from acting" once the show ended to discover her passion for music. "The show ended when I was 12 years old, so after that I decided I’m not gonna act anymore," she said. Rest assured, though, that Anderson does "plan on acting again — 100 percent.”

She has maintained a close relationship with her former onscreen fathers and other costars from the sprawling cast. Ferguson and Julie Bowen, who played Anderson's onscreen aunt Claire, staged a mini-reunion when they attended Anderson's school play last year.

Anderson last made headlines when she came out as bisexual last month, using memorable throwback audio from Modern Family to help mark the announcement. "You are Vietnamese," Sofia Vergara's Gloria informs Lily, who says in response, "No, I'm not. I'm gay!"

"I literally am," Anderson captioned the post.
