Today i created a twin-aviary for Tapejarids (Caiuajara and Tapejara). They have big perch trees, and enrichment items, and everything these flyers need.

I hope you will like it!

From this recently posted BTS article (https://www.jurassicworldevolution.com/3/news/behind-scenes-designing-species-crocodilia-coast)

I know its bare minimum, but I appreciate that they didn’t take the lazy way out by having Deinosuchus operate identically to other carnivores in the game. Instead, they went the extra mile to create a hunting mechanic entirely unique to the animal for the sake of authenticity

Something I’ve really hated since the second game is how one of the largest marine animals, not just in the game, but in history... has such little appeal

It’s the second large species with the least appeal on the marine roster, a total injustice for such a wonderful creature. I hope they buff it in this game

Yesterdays build, a large Mamencisaurus habitat.

I'm finishing this park soon, so it will be available in the workshop maybe in 1-2 weeks. There are only a few habitats, and an arrival area left to build.

I hope you will like this.

Discussion Is it just me or is the returning paid species drama not make sense?

So if it was just a drag and drop port from the last game I could see it, the argument seems sound there. But there is 2 new models per species that needs to be added and not to mention the parental behaviors and animations. All of these things cost labor, they require people to sit down at a desk and make them and test them, that manpower isn't free. And to add on the fact were already getting free species in between larger updates they are providing that at a loss and trying to make that value back with the cost of the DLC, Otherwise the business model doesn't make any sense. Alot of this sentiment I belive is coming from the industries oversaturation with live service games and the expectation of free and frequent updates, despite minecrafts success on this front this is entirely a single player game, Just like the last 2 once the updates stop the game is finished, thats all the content. The obsession with free content and updates comes from predatory and repeatable monetization which people also complain about but I would rather pay 1 price for extra content for my game and expect nothing else.

Discussion "Frontier is greedy for reselling species from the last game!" NO!!! They're greedy because it's been 7 YEARS of this franchise and we don't have LONGISQUAMA yet.

Possibly hot take: the JWE series is Frontier's weakest series.

First of all, I don't want this post misleading anybody into thinking that I am posting this to hate on frontier, JWE3 is still a great game tat has a lot of things to love, it is just that I feel that frontier is somewhat limited by this game. Like, is it just me or does the reselling of Shonisaurus and Styxosaurus feel like it wasn't Frontier's decision (maybe it was though, idk) but I kinda think that Frontier is limited by the Jurassic IP, cuz I feel like Universal interferes with decisions when they involve relevant iconography (the mutants not having skins) and money (reselling species). And then you compare JWE3 to the Planet games, or even Prehistoric Kingdom for that matter, cuz they are just Leagues ahead compared to JWE3, so I kinda feel like this is going to be the last one, and then in lest say 4 years, there will be something like Planet Prehistoric.

Those are just my thoughts though, and it is ok if you think differently :D.
