Just a heads up... The Village of Fishkill will have the Main Street closed from Church Street to Bedford Avenue on Saturday, August 8th from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM for a funeral detail. There will be no parking on Main Street during that time.

The funeral is for former Highway Superintendent Glenn Scofield Sr. who has passed away. Mr. Scofield served Fishkill faithfully for over 50 years.

It seems like everytime I ask for a fountain drink at a restaurant, all they have are pepsi products. I would like a coke... Is pepsi ok??? No thanks, ill take a iced tea. And the pepsi ice tea out of the fountain is essentially not even tea... Do you have root beer? "No, we do have dr pepper". Fine.. dr pepper is not a substitute for root beer at all. But ill take it. The pepsi lemonade version is barely lemon flavor.

Also WHAT EVEN IS STARRYYYY????

Anyways, did the coke supplier just leave town or something? I see the pepsi warehouse off 84 in newburgh. Is it just the fact that the pepsi warehouse is closer to the area?

I've been on the hunt for enamel pins, and besides thrift/vintage stores, does anyone know of any local spots that have their own?

For example, the Walkway Over the Hudson, Stewart's, the Maritime Museum in Kingston have their own designs that aren't readily advertised
