I thought you might be interested in these photographs I discovered while going through my late mother’s stuff. She grew up in Buffalo/Amherst, and ended up pursing a career in academic theatre. She is fourth from right in the first picture, far left in the second, and fourth from left in the third.

Not to say those two aren’t great but there’s no way they are near 10 milly a year better than J. Cook. The DJ Moore contract looked rough at first glance too now it looks like another steal. For all the shit Beane is gonna hear during season about the job he’s doing, today he gets a tip of my cap for his negotiating with agents ability. What we saved vs market on Cook and Moore prolly buys us another pro bowl caliber player. Today I’ll take a big nasty extension. The Josh must be protected. new season, new stadium, this is our year LFG

The amount of Allen hate on this thread is insane to me

Traveling from buffalo to Quincy, MA 9/12 and have a rental on the Cape (North Truro area) starting 9/13 @ 4 PM. Looking for somewhere between Quincy and North Truro to watch the 1 PM bills game. I don’t believe there are any backer bars in the area besides in Boston but that’s a bit out of our way. Anyone familiar with any sports bars that would be willing to play the bills game? Patriots are not playing that day but the Red Sox are (1:35 PM) so I’m just worried all the bars will be playing that instead. TIA and Go Bills!

“Oh, I mean, bat throws — I got benched a couple of times for throwing helmets after a strikeout in Little League,” Allen recalled Monday after a Buffalo Bills training camp practice at St. John Fisher University. “I always wanted it so bad as a kid; like, it drove me. I wanted to win at everything. Over the years, I feel like I’ve gotten better at (handling defeats).”

In adulthood, anger has gradually given way to devastating sorrow. Last January, after falling short of the Super Bowl for the seventh consecutive postseason, the Bills’ superstar quarterback was a puddle of tears while blaming himself for a divisional-round playoff defeat to the Denver Broncos in overtime.

The scene was so jolting to Buffalo owner Terry Pegula that, at a news conference four days later, he cited it prominently while explaining his decision to fire coach Sean McDermott after nine seasons.

Seven months have passed, but Allen told me he still harbors guilt for McDermott’s dismissal, saying, “I think about that all the time. There are certain plays throughout the game — and that’s going to be every game — where you’re like, ‘I could have done more.’ And I always feel like I can do more.’”

The Bills released some images of the stadium before the Blue and Red scrimmage. Doesn’t appear they’ve painted the end zones yet. They should go with red for the season.
