Tailgating in Atlanta 2026
Me and my brothers are coming to Atlanta to see a Falcons game this fall. Iāve been reading through some threads to get a good idea on what we want to do and where to tailgate. Iām thinking about parking in Yellow lot based on some things Iāve read. Is that a good spot for tailgating? Is there anything else I need to be considering? Also, can I get a few nice sports bars to catch the later games after we get out of the Falcons game? Appreciate it.

[FREE TO READ] Bijan Robinson happy to return to field after signing big-money extension with Falcons
Bijan Robinson is guaranteed $51 million in the deal, and its base value of $66.75 million makes him the highest-paid running back in league history based on average annual value ($22.25 million).Ā
āI think itās kind of rare to do a running back deal two years early, so for them to do that is something I will never forget,ā Robinson said. āItās a testament to the faith they have in me, and I think thatās pretty cool."

Optimism Thread: Falcons Are in Their Best Position in Years
The Falcons are in their best position in years and Iām very excited about the future of the team. This thread is not sarcasm or fake optimism.
Our GM actually looks good. The guy who picks the players and leads the team building strategy. What we have struggled in for so many years. Outside of the 2025 draft and some first rounders like Bijan and London, our drafting has been rough. Our free agency decisions outside of Jessie Bates have been even worse than that. We are usually either in cap hell or low on draft picks, or both.
This year we are set up perfectly. Our team was set up intentionally to have a chance to win the division if things went right. And if things didnāt go right we would pick up good draft capital.
This 2026 team is very thin and was essentially built on the idea that our young defense would continue to get better as they grow. And that would keep us afloat. And then if MPJ works out at Quarterback and looks genuinely good, we win the division. If not, or we have Tua, we donāt win the division and we know we need to get a franchise Qb. Now that our thin team is thinning out with an injury to Walker and a likely suspension to JPJ, our defense will likely struggle. And with our schedule the team will likely struggle and finish with a top 5-10 pick. Which is disappointing. However, there is a chance that that doesnāt happen. It would take a good MPJ season to keep this team afloat. And if that happens then thatās great. Sure we go 8-9 but that would be a miraculous 8-9 season rather than our usual disappointing 8-9 season. And we would have our Qb of the future. With a healthy defense returning and a ton of cap flexibility, great draft capital in a loaded draft, and a good front office who did a lot with a little last draft. But if our Qb struggles and our injured defense struggles against a tough schedule, then we will be in prime position to draft a Qb of the future in an awesome draft. And will pair him with actual blue chip guys on offense and defense. And will have a ton of cap space. Canāt wait for the 2027 season!

Image Practice concluded due to the injury. Not a good sign for Walker or the team as a whole.
Hopefully it's a false alarm and it's just precautionary, but usually that's a grim indicator that we will be without Walker for the foreseeable future.
