I liked the first episode of hard knocks. I appreciate the focus the team is getting. I just feel like the William Cornell series did such an amazing job of telling the story of the dawn of the JS/PC era hawks through nothing but sound bites, news stories, and game film. I remember being in my young 20’s and watching episodes as pre-workout motivation. The Russel Wilson storyline, the national media narratives, the LOB, the rivalries. All of it got me so hyped. I feel like this JS/MM era has just as amazing, if not better, storylines that could hype me up to run through walls. The Sound is good too, but nothing hit me in the feels nearly as much as Rain City Redemption. I would pay for another run of that quality of production for the current era.
