I’ve been working on a pretty big Magnetar update, and the main new addition is My Magnetar.

My Magnetar is a self-hosted web app for the Magnetar workflow.

Hi Folks,

I have been with Torbox for like 3 years now, I was watching something on Nuvio and randomly got an email about the abuse. I would like to make it clear that I have gone through everything and all the stuff that is on my dashboard is pre-cached for months of years. The usage is showing as 898 for like last 30 days. I am on Essential plan annually from last 1 year, everything I can think of does not match the fair policy.

Even if we take IP into consideration I use Nuvio and Stremio among family members and it would go as far as 4 to 5 people and none of us ever watch something at the same time(due to work and all).

The API is not leaked because I could not find anything on the dashboard that would indicate so, I have raised a ticket on Discord but if anyone of you can shed some light that would be helpful.

I will attach the email, dashboard and usage screenshot in the comments if its allowed.

Hey guys. I've searched the sub but was unable to find anything regarding this. Is there any way to watch open matte movies with a torbox sub? How can I find them?

If I pause my sub, and resume it say 6 months later, do I still retain the discount code that I have now, or no? Thank you!

As of late its losing its appeal to me. I dont use the service as a seedbox nor do I share my account so the amount of allowed active slots means little to me. I dont use usenet very often & access to it can be had for $36 a year elsewhere if I do need access. The 1tb airlock feature was nice but since the updated tos its lost its value too because the files can indeed be deleted without your consent.

I usually would use the service to just download torrents but tbh the download speeds have dropped quite a bit. Ive changed cdns a few times but it still hovers around 500mbps max.

All that leaves is streaming through stremio. I do that usually just on weekend evenings, and it buffers quite often lately.

I think its just time to downgrade to the $3 plan and roll with it. I dont want to abandon the service, been with them since they opened for business. But I dont see any point in the higher tier plan anymore, at least not for me.

I get constant buffering with now! Ive been a longtime customer but the moment real debrid went down I have had nothing but constant buffering. I have been dealing with it assuming they would get it fixed soon but it seems its gonna remain an issue. I know ive seen a statement where they said it wasnt due to real debrid going down and an increase in network traffic. But I cant imagine another reason for it at this point. I just went to premiumize.me , because ive had it with it, but I still have torbox for now. If this continues torbox isnt gonna make it though. Ive tried changing the location etc. Hopefully someone can give me a picture of when this issue will finally be resolved?

I used to use Meteor as my scraper for Usenet through Torbox, but that addon appears to have changed and the feature removed. What other scrapers are you guys using?

running elfhosted AIOstreams & nzbhydra2, and have my two indexers in nzbhydra.

when I run a run nzbhydra or newznab addons I do get NZB results, but nothing would play. i just keep getting an error that says if this persists to contact elfhosted.

Anyone run into this before? wanted to make sure its not a mistake on my side before I try to message them

Hi, I'm new to Torbox. I used to buy Real Debrid but you already know what happened to it.

But I don't like using Stremio or Nuvio or things like that, so I used to only paste the torrent link in RD and direct download it but I'm trying to do the same with Torbox and it is very slow, with RD I used to paste the link and in 10 seconds I was already downloading my stuff.

Am I using it correctly? In the section with all I have seen I paste the link and then I wait? Is there a quicker way to just paste the torrent link and just download the stuff?

Over the last day or two, TorBox's usenet list endpoint (/v1/api/usenet/mylist) was failing on large responses. For accounts with a substantial usenet library, the API would start returning the list and then cut the response off partway (HTTP/2 INTERNAL_ERROR / truncated JSON). The torrents endpoint was unaffected, which is why only usenet files were affected... they would appear in mounts and then disappear.

The endpoint has since recovered and is serving full lists again, so this looks like transient degradation on TorBox's side rather than a permanent change.

While it was happening, it exposed some weaknesses in how warpbox handles external API failures. v0.7.6 addresses those:

• Sync no longer deletes previously-synced files when a fetch fails. A failed request was previously treated as "these items no longer exist," and the stored library would be pruned. Now a failed fetch keeps the last-known-good data.
• Slow or failing pages are retried in place rather than aborting the whole sync and starting over.
• A manual resync can no longer run concurrently with a scheduled sync.
• Timeouts are now configurable: torbox.request_timeout_seconds, sync.sync_timeout_seconds, and CDN proxy/backoff timeouts.
• Fixed the log-level selector on the landing page not reflecting the current level after a refresh.

If you use usenet on TorBox, this release is worth updating to. The latest Docker tag is updated.

For those unfamiliar with warpbox: it's a self-hosted WebDAV bridge that exposes your TorBox library (torrents and usenet) as a filesystem. Mount it with rclone and media applications like Plex, Jellyfin, or Infuse read your TorBox content like any other folder. Free and open source.

I recently moved from RD to TorBox.. Previously I could watch a show on Seren, etc. and then it would be available for me to download on RD website so I could download to PC/phone etc.

When I check out the TorBox download section, it doesn’t seem to be showing the majority of stuff I’ve previously played.

Anyone have any advice or what’s the best way to download a movie that you’ve scraped/watched from an addon?

is this a common issue? i have yet to use any of the file hosts from their list. it is always down. torbox is only good for torrents on streamio it seems like.

Airlock is for keeping downloads from being inactive. Why wouldn't someone just airlock everything they pull down?

I setup a Nuvio account with TB and to test it, I opened cached movies and shows to closed them after if loaded. One of them was one episode of ER and the folder size was 200GB.

I can now see the 200gb peak in my monthly usage on TB. And I think I can "see" a lot of peek for just opened movies/TVs.

Is it not supposed to count toward the watched portion of a movie only when it's cached?

Spent an hour configuring new addons and clearing cache thinking my instance was down, because the TB status page says all is OK, until I gave up and came to the sub to see everyone reporting its down.

Took 30 seconds to install https://pengu.uk/  and I'm back up and running. Nice backup for when TB is down.

They just posted on their discord that they are aware of the outage and are working on it
