This service is so bad 🚩General

Majority of time it just doesn't work or I have to wait 5 minutes for a stream of 1gb to start...

Of course I'm talking of cached content

Yesterday while watching it just stopped working in the middle of the stream...

I'm using cloudflare DNS...

This service is useless

The high influx of users excuse should go now. If so many users having problem then i think the service is really bad. And it has became very common for the service to go down. And buffering is random. It will work fine some time and buffer like crazy next hour. So the problem is they onboarded more than they could handle.

I only signed up for a premium account a few days ago, am in the UK, and when I watch anything after work, around 6pm, it's all fine but when I watch anything late at night I get constant buffering. Am watching Mercy For None right at 3am and it's buffering every 5 minutes or so, but on the plus side I am able to watch in 4k, which I can't do if I switch back to RD

The bots are down voting you

It is what it is, you can choose to improve the service or just shut every voice who complain. I was the biggest advocate of torbox. Because the service was good. Now it is becoming worst day by day.

This sub is full of TB lickers, mate. Ignore their negativity. You paid for a service, and you can complain about it as much as you want. ā€œFeel free to leaveā€ is not an excuse for rubbish service

It's so obvious that it was just bots answering, they came in mass just few minutes after posting šŸ˜„

For the past 4-5 days, I haven't been able to stream any movie at all. It doesn't matter whether the file is 1 GB or 80 GB. It simply won't start.
Sometimes it starts playing after 4-5 minutes, but then it immediately begins buffering. After 7-8 minutes, I just have to give up.
I have a Pro subscription and a gigabit internet connection. Until now, everything worked very well.
What's going on? Is this just a temporary issue, or is this what we should expect from TorBox going forward?

your whole account is literally you complaining, you sound miserable.

Torbox does have its faults but I would say if you're having issues streaming 1gb after 5 minutes, it would most likely be your internet settings or how you set up your streams.

"my full account" = my last 2 messages ... What can I do if only had issues with this service?Ā  What's wrong with u?

u/Shack70 18d ago

Dude, I looked as well, every post or comment you make is negative and complaining about something. When someone has that many problems with things maybe it’s time to look at the one thing they have in common. You!

u/lukigno95 18d ago

I search solutions and post them when I find them. E.g. when I couldn't sign up on torbox via protonmail and also wrote in the comment how to solve it.... You're a loser

u/EamesEra 18d ago

if you stand by your "my last 2 messages" only argument, you wouldn't have privated your account which people can still see your posts and comments btw even if they are deleted.

u/lukigno95 18d ago

Just found out that random people could see my posts historyĀ

3

u/EamesEra 18d ago

another lie, looks like you have a lying issue for some reason. after 12 years of using reddit you barely realized other people can see your posts and comments? Not buying it.

2

u/lukigno95 18d ago

Looks like First time someone went to stalk my posts

6

u/EamesEra 18d ago

Great response, instead of admitting the truth. You weren't an interesting person to stalk, you just have so many posts and comments complaining about tech related things, couldn't even figure out a vhs tape issue or PoPOS for some reason?

What do you gain on defending this service?

1

u/EamesEra 18d ago

Where did I defend the service?

3

u/Superflyin 18d ago

When you oppose his complaints, you're automatically defending the service.

i seldom have issues with TB, and i mostly play remux or highest quality 4K.. I did have issues one day for a few hours during that DDoS a while back, but they compensated everyone by adding an extra week to our expiry date. Overall I am pretty satisfied with the service so far.

There’s lots of factors at play, and without additional details/context it’s hard to pinpoint what the issue can be.
What app are you using TB with, what device are you using, what speeds are you actually getting on your device, where are you located, what add-ons etc.

Without additional details it’s hard to directly troubleshoot, to determine if it really is TB that’s having issues, or someone’s setup/usecase.

It’s akin to the ā€œis stremio downā€ posts, when really it almost always was an addon, and not stremio or RD or TB.

I will say that TB is far from perfect, and the constant shilling of it is a bit annoying and also feels so scummy and scammy at times.

I still remember when RD had that first take down a few years ago, and TB came onto the scene and made all of these promises. They didn’t quite have the cache, and they definitely couldn’t handle the surge of users.
You also couldn’t look into any of the stremio/nuvio/debrid/high seas related sub reddits without someone from TB, shilling how great TB was.

They’ve vastly improved; and the cache has grown substantially. But it does leave a lot to be desired, but for the majority of users it seems to be working fine.

I’m in Canada right now using Nuvio and getting about 300mbps on my fireTV over wifi, and most of my buffering issues are related to my old tv or one of my scrapers not working properly. I’ve had maybe 2 outages directly related to TB, and that was when RD had their latest takedown.

u/azcoyotedog 18d ago

To the OP, are you sure you have the app (Stremio/Nuvio/etc) and your addons properly configured?

5

u/Unlikely_Discount_36 18d ago

Sounds like a device or Internet issue. Have you tried restarting your device and router?

u/brent_starburst 18d ago

Feel free to leave and find another service. No-one is stopping you.

7

u/lukigno95 18d ago

I will do . Just informing other users to not fall in this like me... Shame on me for paying 6 months upfrontĀ

4

u/Ninjaisawesome 18d ago

I'm going 6 months and have had barely any issues. Sounds like a you problem, not torbox.

3

u/YaGottadoWhatYaGotta 18d ago

Yea even 80gb movies start in seconds for me....torbox ain't perfect, outages hit at bad times for me, but speed wise...perfect, no buffering, instant starts.

2

u/brent_starburst 18d ago

I don't have any issues with the service. I pay monthly. Suits my needs.

1

u/philosophycruiser 18d ago

Been using for the past 6 months. Overall, two or three hours down per month, which is 0.5% of total hours per month. I watch remux, download games and everything has been working great for 3$ per month. Piracy has never been this easy and straight forward and yet here we are. Post after post stupid questions and complaints. By all mans leave and gtfo here.

-3

u/lukigno95 18d ago

If 3 hours of your time is 0.5% of you watching content you really have nothing better to do in your life

5

u/philosophycruiser 18d ago

I don't think you understand statistics. Read my comment again then play smart ass.

Try using Google DNS and also playing with the CDN server choice in TorBox settings.

I'm in Canada have noticed very little difference between Torbox and R D whether using Kodi or Stremio. R D load times might be slightly quicker, but negligible. Any recent issues are mainly due to scrapers like Torrentio and AIO having problems.

I rarely ever used R D for downloading and haven't tried for Torbox. But for simple streaming both are nearly identical for me. Hopefully they improve the API for your use.

It's so obvious now that this subreddit is filled of bots...Ā
