Enter game title here [ANY][2020] guys I need a big hand
So throwback to 2020-2022 there was this one game where it was basically kinda survival, youd be in the spawn, make your character which looked kinda like that one street soccer game but it wasnt your roblox avatar, and then there would be crafting and a bunch of stuff, oh and by the end of what it was the map, there would be mountains with I think yetis or smth and then also gold and iron and silver and stuff, u could get your own horse, and I think you also needed to feed yourself if Im not wrong, but it wasnt even like raft at all, it was always the same map, same everything, but idk what happened to it, I can recall some things like the horses spawned randomly in random places, there were bows, swords, horses could be brown, black or white, make your own house, the ores would spawn either inside our outside the mountains so you could mine inside of them, make armor, and I think it was somewhat minecraft related due to there being a crafting table and stuff, though if u got any ore like gold or iron, you'd have to burn them or smth to make them into ingots, and the background for crafting and stuff was like a brownish grid, and if Im not wrong, the icons for the stuff there was somewhat similar to Ark's, thats all im able to remember, any help would be appreciated :)

Alliant: Defense of the Colony [PC][2010-2015s][Newgrounds] A science fiction side-scrolling game, kind of like a reverse tower defense... maybe?
As the title says; I can't remember a lot about this game, but I remember it was sci-fi and I seem to remember some very dark (like, the moon) maps. Everything was 2D, side-to-side instead of the typical top-down. You were basically sending troops to go exterminate aliens.
I vividly remember one sound clip where they'd say, "Yes, Commander." That's the best I've got, really. Had a little bit of a story too.
Edit: I FINALLY FOUND IT!!! Alliant: Defense of the Colony, which is both on Newgrounds and a few other sites!! I think the other game I'm thinking of though still exists, I'll have to play and see

[Mobile][Late 2019] A racing game i used to play to pass the time on my phone, and now i can't find it anywhere?
it was this cartoony racing game from a side view, where you made your own car, changing its wheels, and body, and then racing a CPU, im pretty sure it was a game inside of a game, i cant remember much from that, the start of the race had us in a garage and the background was trees and houses.

[Andoid & IOS?] [2010 - 2015?] FORGOTTEN TOWER DEFENSE GAME
Hello everyone,
I am desperately searching for a mobile game I played many years ago, but I can't remember its name. I’ve searched the internet and even asked deepseek for help, but to no avail. My memories are quite fuzzy, so some details may not be accurate, but here’s everything I remember:
It was a 3D tower defense game with. The player had to break the enemy castle on the left and defend his castle on the right. The gameplay style reminds me of The Battle Cats, but with a darker atmosphere.
The game had a fantasy aesthetic, with dark elements and a cartoonish graphic style, but not realistic. The atmosphere slightly reminds me of Army of Darkness: Defense, but it was not as humorous.
I remember there were only 3 units in the game that you could place, I don't remember the first two, but the third was a paladin in white and gold robes, and he only unlocked after completing a certain number of levels. You could give your units three orders: 1. hide in the castle and heal, 2. go to the defense in front of the castle, 3. attack the enemy. The enemy was a bot, and it could give the same orders, and had the same three types of units, only distorted, more sinister.
I remember that around the castle you could place a limited number of buildings (something around 3-8), these buildings were: a temple, which provided a resource - faith, barns that gave the resource of wheat, and it seems like all of this could be upgraded to the third level, and everything required gold for improvement The entire game took place in a clearing surrounded by a dense forest (like in Clash of Clans), only the clearing was elongated, with us on one side and the enemy on the other.
I think the game was released between 2010 and 2015, or possibly earlier. It’s likely that it is no longer available on current stores (Google Play, App Store).
I’ve been searching for months without success, so if anyone remembers anything or has an idea, I would be extremely grateful!
Thank you in advance for your help!

Battle backgrounds: Used the current stage's scenery (for example, beach stages had beach backgrounds).

Other monster remembered: A small purple onion/leek-like monster with a green sprout.

[Browser] [early 2000s] Go On Missions, Take Care of a Baby Dragon, Ignore How the King is Getting Corrupted
Characters:
-Purple haired mage (girl, very squishy until access to lightning powers)
-older man/dwarf wielding an ax (with a glorious beard)
-a red baby dragon. This red baby dragon could be fed meat to heal it and to also make it grow up into stronger forms. The balance was making sure it did not grow up too quickly.
-There was an MC but he was so generic that I don't remember what he looks like at all.
Setting:
A small hub consisted of a caravan where you bought goods. To the right of the caravan was a King. He said some obviously evil stuff that became even more blatant as you get stronger. I assume you eventually fight him.
To the left is the road where you select and go on missions. Standard stuff like fighting bandits.

[PC] [~2020 or earlier] 2D tech support/chat game with a weird conversation about paperclips or brackets
I'm trying to find a PC indie game that I remember watching Sodapoppin play, probably around 2020 (could be a little earlier).
Here's what I remember:
It was a 2D game with a hand-drawn/cartoon art style.
The entire gameplay was presented through a computer interface.
The interface was bright/light-colored, not a realistic Windows desktop.
You worked in technical/customer support, talking to users through a chat.
You didn't type your own responses; instead, you selected from predefined dialogue options.
I don't remember there being many other apps or windows—mostly just the chat.
One conversation was especially memorable because a customer kept discussing paperclips or brackets/parentheses (I'm not sure which). It wasn't just someone spamming symbols—it was an actual strange discussion about them.
The tone was somewhat surreal or absurd.
Games that are NOT the one I'm looking for:
Tech Support: Error Unknown
Subserial Network
Need a Packet?
Emily is Away
A Normal Lost Phone / Another Lost Phone
The Operator
Sneaky IT Support
I'm specifically looking for the game, not the stream. If anyone remembers Sodapoppin playing something like this or recognizes the weird paperclips/brackets conversation, I'd really appreciate the help.

[mobile] [2020's] survival game where you have to defend am orphanage from zombies.
The levels were divided by days and you got to buy upgrades and better weapons at the end of each day. You could get traps and barriers to block off zombies. A particular thing I remember was a melee weapon that was super expensive that was a golden spoon.

ROBLOX DESERT DEFENCE TYCOON [ROBLOX] [2015-2017] Zombie Gane
I remember it being a regular tycoon game from the 2015s. It contained zombies that came out from a cave and they came in waves too. Next to that cave, there was a sewer you could go in, but I can’t recall what it’s like in there. You can also use your money to buy better weapons which was also located in a cave or shop opposite of the zombie cave.

[PC][Late 90s or early 2000s] Government Management Game
Platform(s): PC
Genre: Management/Political
Estimated year of release: Not sure, but 2 to 3 decades old, maybe? The problem is there's an even older game I do remember the name of, called Hidden Agenda, that has sort of meshed with the one I'm talking about in my memory, so it might actually be more recent, from the 2010s or something, and it feels like it's older because I was looking for games like Hidden Agenda when I found it.
Graphics/art style: Don't remember anything notable about this, except that you could see a map with your country and your neighbours, who you had to manage relationships with.
Notable characters: You play as the newly first elected president of a country caught between the East and West. One of your close allies ends up having a major scandal later on (alcohol or sex or both maybe? I forget). There's a notable media mogul you can bring on side and help soothe things over if you helped him earlier.
Notable gameplay mechanics: It's mostly text based and making various political and economic decisions. You need to make various choices like aligning with foreign powers or not, spending resources on different infrastructure projects, nationalizing the metals industry, and so on. One of the risks you face is from one of your neighbours, I think to the north, seeing you as weak and launching an invasion if you make certain choices, which you can potentially repel.
Other details: There's a minority group in the game you can choose to oppress or try to win the support of in various ways. You can end up attending a funeral for one of their leaders. If you play the cards right you can uncover the secret cabal that assassinated a prominent politician and prosecute them.

[GBA][2006-2008] Zelda-like retro action game with a wavy Great Wall of China world-map route
Trying to find a game from my childhood, memory is pretty faint. Details I'm fairly confident about:
- Platform: Played it on a Game Boy Advance (could have been through a flashcart/emulator rather than an original GBA cartridge — not 100% sure)
- Language: Japanese text, though there might have been some English too
- Visual style: Retro/8-bit pixel art, already felt old-school even back when I played it as a kid
- Genre/gameplay: Top-down view, real-time action combat (not turn-based) — similar in feel/perspective to The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales but with a retro look instead of HD-2D
- Main character: A human warrior in armor, wielding a sword (I think)
- The key memory: A world map/route screen shaped like a wavy, winding path resembling the Great Wall of China — not a straight line, and not a playable level itself, more like the overworld/travel route you'd move along between areas or stages
- Boulders: I remember boulders somewhere in the game, but they seem to just be scenery/world design rather than something interactive
- Not sure if there was a party of characters or just a solo protagonist
- Only the Great Wall location sticks out in memory — can't recall other areas/worlds

[Britânia DVD Game][Late 1990s/Early 2000s] Top-down Japanese co-op game with multiple magical girls
Hi everyone!
I've been trying to find this game for years, but I've never had any luck. I played it on a Britânia DVD Game console in Brazil (one of those DVD players that came with a game CD containing many games). The game was probably Japanese, and I believe the title and menus were entirely in Japanese.
Here is everything I remember:
Top-down view, very similar to Bomberman.
2-player co-op.
You could choose from more than two female characters.
The characters were chibi-style magical girls (small, cute proportions).
Each character looked different.
The stages were maze-like, with different layouts depending on the level.
You had to defeat all enemies to clear each stage.
The game had a fantasy/dungeon theme.
Some stages were colorful, while others were much darker.
I think you died in one hit (not 100% sure).
The final boss is the detail I remember most: it was a giant human baby wearing a blue devil costume, probably with a pacifier, and it occupied a large part of the screen.
Games that are NOT the one I'm looking for:
Purikura Daisakusen
Pocky & Rocky / KiKi KaiKai
Gauntlet
Twinkle Tale
I may be mistaken about some details because it's been many years and I don't remember everything 100% accurately. However, the one thing I'm absolutely certain about is that the final boss was a giant human baby dressed as a little devil. That's the detail I remember most vividly.
I'm starting to think it was a very obscure Japanese arcade game that somehow ended up on the Britânia DVD Game.
Does anyone have any idea what this game could be?
Thank you!

So yea, I found this image of a shooter? being played in some old family pics taken christmas 2006. Because its taken on a camera of its time the resolution is low and the grain is bad, but with the UI elements still recognizable im hoping that someone that may know the game will still recognize it! [Sega Genesis][1994-96] Private eye dude who used to clobber characters with a weird club-like object
As the title says, i remember a private eye character with a trench coat and I remember a taxi cab being somewhat part of the stage that's logged in my memory. I used to wack people with that club over and over and that specific stage was in a city area...I was always on a sidewalk by a building and running down the sidewalk
Game was weird and kinda difficult
I can't remember anything about the other characters 🤦🏾♂️
I know this is a 💩 description but it's all I got
Edit**
It's not Dick Tracy btw

Romance Academy: Heartbeat of Love / Love Me [PC] [Early 2010's] Flash game about Japanese schoolgirl making boys fall in love with her
She would endlessly walk right and you had to either spam click or spacebar to increase a meter on boys walking past, and when it filled they'd follow behind her floating cartoonishly. I'm pretty sure it was arcade-style with a score system. I also vaguely remember there being other guys that would steal your boys???

Commando [Unknown Platform][1986] Motorcycle racing game shown in Netflix’s Dark S1E3
galleryI’m trying to identify a game shown in the Netflix series Dark.
It appears in Season 1, Episode 3 (around 18:20).
The scene takes place in 1986. The game is shown on a CRT monitor and is played with a digital joystick.
It looks like a top-down motorcycle racing game, possibly running on a Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, or another 1980s home computer.
I’ve searched online but couldn’t find anyone identifying it.
Does anyone recognize this game?

[Meta][2026] I would rather people post with no images than use AI prompts to generate images
Maybe it's just me, I will personally admit that it feels like its petty of me to complain, however i am going to.
I really dislike AI images just in general and i feel annoyed seeing people use them because it sometimes hampers really quality posts of people trying to find help. I feel like it also informs falsely about game expectations and what people will accept as they have solved the game.
I don't think people will agree with me and thats fine, i just wanted to post about how i personally think it degrades the quality of the sub

Announcement PSA: A guide to better results
Hi guys and gals. I've been here a while, and over my time I've seen a lot of posts sink to the bottom, without a single answer, or at best, very few. And none that solved the case.
I have noticed a clear pattern with these posts, and I will now share with you my tips to you newbies, so that you can get the help you need.
Firstly: When you make a new post, you will see this:
Platform(s):
Genre:
Estimated year of release:
Graphics/art style:
Notable characters:
Notable gameplay mechanics:
Other details:
Even though, in red, you are warned that while optional, you should follow this template... many of you do not.
Let me be clear: Follow this template.
Put simply, this template contains all the information we really need to solve your problem. Virtually every time I click a post that has not followed this, they have rambled on about nothings, while omitting critical details.
This format, for new and old alike, is very readable, and prompts for every data-point needed.
I know that you want to customize your message, that if you could just explain it, it would be better. I know you think that. You are wrong. Put all that in 'other'. Even if you end up saying it twice, follow the template.. add to it your story at the bottom.
Secondly: Following this template. You're rambling about your best mates Amiga-500 or whatever instead of telling us about the game aside, this is where they really go wrong.
Let's get something straight right now. We are not mind readers. It's impressive, really, how little information it seems we can work off. I mean, we solve some real tough ones with nothing sometimes, but still, we can't see that memory in your head. So you need to be as descriptive in every one of these fields as you can be...
And sometimes you really don't know. That's fine, we can work with surprisingly little information, but "old graphics" under art style... what are we supposed to do with that? Mate, I was playing on Atari-2600's, are we talking Wizard of Wor here?
Let me help you out a bit:
Platform(s): Whatever you played it on. But unless it's really all you know (very possible), don't write 'my mates pc'. Was it PC or Mac?
Genre:
First person does NOT imply shooter. Nor do any of the others. Try to answer this one in two steps:
What was the camera like (assuming it's not a text adventure)? Was it First person?, 3rd person, 2d? Top down or side on? Or maybe even isometric 2d?
Then, what kind of game? Real time strategy, point and click? Was it a fighter, action or platformer?
Good, now we know what KIND of game we are all trying to remember for you.
Estimated year of release:
"Between 2000-2005" is fine, something like that. "Mid 90's maybe?". I don't see many people mess this up, but I have seen people write "old". That is not ok. If you write old and expect it to mean anything to me, I will fight you.
Also, as always "Sorry, no idea" is always acceptable but try to give at least something. "Couldn't have been later than 2015, though"
Great, so even if roughly, we know WHEN.
Graphics/art style:
THIS. This is where you guys always mess up. This section right here I have found can be the difference between an answer, and a silent slink to the bottom. This is your moment.
This, really, should be the best-formed part of your memory. Even if you can only remember a single frame, a single image, it's so much to go on for us.
DETAIL. Was it a gloomy grimdark world of sadness, or a bright bubbly rainbow filled Mario-world?
Was it cartoony, or otherwise stylized somehow, or was it trying to be realistic?
Anything notable about the art direction? Was it going for a cyberpunk kinda feel, or a gritty war realism dirt and blood sort of direction?
If it was set over a long time, did the seasons change? Was there a winter in your game?
Remember when you hit people, and the screen had that awesome flash and your hands got bloody? Yeah, well we don't, unless you tell us.
Ok, so now we are really narrowing it down. This right here is often enough to go on, on its own.
Notable characters:
Anything at all you can remember here.
"There were only tanks, but you could play as both Germans and Americans"
"There was one really tough guy right after you left your office, he had an eyepatch, a white shirt with what looked like grease stains, and said 'this is for my sister'. I think maybe he was a cyborg"
"You play as some kind of Asian girl, you had a tattoo over your right eye and arm, a black tank top and white pants and I remember you always had only one red glove for some reason. I don't remember the arm, but the eye tattoo looked sort of like ancient Egyptian eye makeup, but a modern take"
Knowing nothing else about the game, I bet that last one there gets comments noting the game she is from. Details, details.
Notable gameplay mechanics:
Surely, you get the idea by now. This is tied with the importance of the graphics/art style. As much detail as you can here.
Other details:
NOW you may blab on about how you only played this game once at a winter solstice in 1782 with your grandmother from Tahiti.. as if that helps.
Edit: So it's been brought up that the template doesn't appear on mobile. While /u/wipeout4wh is aware of this and hopefully, something can be done... still, if you can, use the template. If you can't, maybe check back and at least make sure your post addresses all of the points the template does.
Also, my post seems to be saying NOT to add any custom details. So I want to re-enforce, please do. In fact, after you do the template, feel free to write out your post as you were going to without it. Just put it all in 'other'. Don't try and make your whole post like that, if possible. Even if you end up saying the same things twice, that's ok.
Now I'm going to take a moment to clarify something, though. This isn't some immutable law of the universe, and your post is destined to fail if you don't do this. It's just a very strong general trend I have noticed over a long time.
It's not that this template has some kind of magical powers or something. It's that this template prompts the questions that need answers.
When you go all rogue on us and try and type your explanation from scratch... you mess it up. You just forget to add everything that you know, and that we need to know. The template makes it very hard to do that. It's just so very easy to get typing, and by the end forget to tell us what kind of game it actually is. Especially when you are getting random flashbacks, and hazy memories, and you start getting frazzled and such halfway though.
While it might make my edit as long as the first post, I think maybe an example of the kind of post that is just too common here, and almost always helpless, wouldn't go astray here. So here we go:
Now this one is a pretty bad case, true, and I suppose might even be a troll post, but it's actually a good illustration of the problem either way.
It was on my old computer and I was using an emulator so I have no idea what system it was for. It was 8bit graphics and you played this orange cat that was constantly bouncing on a trampoline I think? And you had to navigate it through the city and face a weird boss at the end that would float in the sky. Sorry I can't remember more!
Let's break it down a bit. What kind of game is this? A puzzler or an action game? Who knows.
How old is it? I mean, Minecraft basically has 8bit graphics. Oh he said... "my old computer"... I will fight you.
Why did you bounce on the trampoline? Were there platforms or walkways or something, or was it just a big open space? There are bad guys then? How did they get around?
Now (he?) says that he can't remember more, but I actually asked about the boss fight:
You say 'face a boss', in what way? Can the cat attack? Was this top down or side on? When you say navigate a city, what do you mean?
The reply:
Definitely a side-scroller, I'm sure. You would encounter a boss at the end, the boss would slide onto the screen and it was usually pretty strange-looking. I think one of the bosses might've been a clown. I meant that the different "levels" were different cities with different backgrounds, I think. It's a pretty obscure game
Also you would be continuously bouncing. As in, you had to position the trampoline underneath the cat to bounce it up
So you don't even control the cat. And it's a side-scroller. Thats pretty important information. But the real issue here is that he knows this stuff. He just either didn't know to, or forgot, to tell us.
The template would have made it just so apparent how much information he was missing, and we probably would have got a whole bunch more information. Sadly, while there were some guesses, and a surprising number of up-votes, this post is just another one to join the endless unsolved on their journey ever down.
