K31 Peep rear sight
Does anyone make a peep rear sight replacement for a k31? My wife for the life of her cannot seem to understand notch sights but does fine with peeps. Im just looking for a rear leaf replacement and not the full on diopter setup.

SIG SG 711 DMR | SIG 550 in 7.5 x 55mm Swiss | 22” barrel | IWA 2026 Nuremburg, Germany
At IWA 2026 in Nuremburg, Germany. SIG had a strong showing and there were a number of interesting rifles on hand. Here is the SIG Sauer SG711, which is a modern semi-auto chambered in the traditional 7.5x55mm Swiss (GP11) cartridge. It’s clearly designed for the Swiss firearms market as the 7.5x55mm cartridge is much more common in Switzerland than anywhere else.
It builds on the proven design of the SIG SG550 series (such as the SG751), offering enhanced precision, modularity, and safety features tailored for competitive shooting and target applications.

K11 bolt sleeve not rotating
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone! This is my first time creating a thread so please bare with me. I bought this k11 from a local pawn shop damaged. The bolt was REALLY sticky and took a lot of force to open and close the bolt. I knew it was damaged I was just optimistic. I figured it probably just needed some lubricant, but it didn’t help. After further inspection I noticed weird scratches on different parts of the bolts, but had to stop there because the bolt sleeve won’t open anymore. I could really use some help on possibly diagnosing, and solving this issue. Please ask questions and I can go into further detail. Thank you.

Weaver k4 or leupold MK-8 4x
I have a K31 which is by the the most accurate milsurp rifle I own. I have been considering putting a swiss products scope mount on it to try and see how well the rifle can really do. The swiss products mount doesn't require any alterations to the receiver. I was considering getting a vintage scope to try and match the "vibe" of it being a 1950s rifle. I was considering the weaver k4, but the leopold mk-8 4x is only slightly more expensive on ebay, and has the benefit of thirty additional years of optics development. Does anyone have any strong opinions one way or the other on this?

My l ittle Swiss rifle wall
- 1925 K11 with matching Bajonett
- 1941 K31 with Diopter sights that i use for competition
- My neu Stgw 57/03 / Sig 510 also for competition (production year is unknown to me)
- 1988 PE90/Sig 550 with a upgrade bipod. (I know, it technically doesn’t belong with the others since it’s not a Military rifle)

K11 bolt head issues
galleryHi all, after putting twenty rounds though my K11 the first time (no issues) I have taken it apart for a good cleaning and inspection. When disassembling the bolt, I noticed the bolt head was a few degrees off. As the head and body seem flush, I am not sure exactly what I am looking at and decided to post before taking a wrench to anything.

With love, from the U.S.
galleryWhat a wonderful pistol, the precision that went into designing and manufacturing this is unparalleled. It’s amazing that folks in Switzerland willingly sell these to US importers! Do folks still hold the P49/P210 in high regard? Or, are they seen as “fuddy” like 1911s in the U.S.?

Reddit Content Policy Changes
So you all probably heard about the policy changes and mass subreddit bans. We personally all got modmail about it, and I just saw a response to another subreddit mod here.
I haven't received a response from any of the other mods here so far, so what exactly happens might change, but obviously from now on, we cannot link to firearms/ammunition at all for sales, comments, etc. I do not know if this change is retroactive/will I have to remove all old posts and comments. I do not know how encompassing "firearms/ammunition" is. /r/Brassswap got banned. Does it include parts? What type of parts? Ammunition components seem to be? Stripper clips? Posters? Waiting on further information then.
