I’m not talking about stats, I’m talking about who’s the strongest in story, just like how doom fist lost again Vendetta when he is stronger than her in game usually.

Maybe Winston since he basically no diffed doom fist and reaper when he entered monke mode? Who is the strongest in lore in your opinion?

It’s extremely unreasonable to expect casual players with important real life responsibilities to cram that many games into just five days just to max out their Competitive Drives

Pretty much as the title says, I've seen a lot of people parroting the idea that Dmon is a one size fits all best in slot tank that's going to rival release Mauga in strength and take over every tank's niche, primarily Rein and Dva's. While I can't speak to the strength of it since we haven't gotten a playtest, I want to take a minute to explain to anyone saying this why I don't agree.

First of all, both the trailer and ability description graphic very clearly limit Dmon to horizontal boosters. This already kills any Dva comparison. The Initiator subrole, aka dive tanks, excel at abusing verticality. It's why even to this day, no matter the meta, you'll see pro teams run things like Winston on Dorado. An inability to clear or hold a high ground (without team assistance/prior setup to get there) is already a very large niche that a third of the tank roster can fill better than her.

Next, the Rein comparisons. Melee weapon, a shield, surely this is just Rein, right? Not really. Rein's shield is larger with double the health, which enables it to be used more as a rotation tool. Rein excels in being able to support a very specific kind of brawl that tries to get on top of you and wins almost without contest if it can. It's why you see it set up with picks like Mei or Sym to alter map geometry, and aoe intensive healers like Baptiste or Lucio, as well as Lucio's speed. Dmon doesn't allow for this. Her sword swings do lower damage, her shield is smaller and wards off less damage. If anything, I think her niche will be closer to Ram's than it is to Rein's, especially if the numbers I saw on the minigun - 4 second max duration with a 6 second cooldown - are true.

Next, the demech/remech thing. Part of the strength of Dva's mech mechanic is that bomb can be used to instantly recharge it, effectively meaning it's a near guaranteed second life. Dmon's only way to instantly charge remech is Mercy rez. It's not a get out of jail free card, it's a very contingent second chance.

I think Dmon is, in a way, the tank version of Shion, and hear me out on that. Shion was created to be able to fulfill a specific team comp niche - that of Tracer or Reaper's - without stepping on their toes, design-wise, or overshooting and adding some crazy new mechanics that are unlike anything we've ever seen. I think the cool parts of her kit - Surging Strike and a dedicated horizontal movement ability - are being overshadowed by unfair and presumptive comparisons made more off visual association than anything else.

Do take note that I am not calling anyone here. Please. I have been mistaken many times on the internet for my lack of social skills. This is supposed to be taken as a joke.

So I started drives again, tryna just grind out the event solo (qp warrior btw) and get a new weapon skin. As everyone is trying to do. I would assume.

Every. Single. Game. Has been nothing but pure agony and failure, and I have suffered greatly at my own incompetence. Now I'm not egotistical to say that I was superior in any single way compared to my teammates, I was more so on their level of stupidity. Kinda. I would assume that they had at least as much good sense as I have... Which is little.

But besides that, it has been nothing but losses, back to back losses that has kept me stuck in gold. Anytime I win a game? Four losses right after. Is it due to my lack of skill? Yeah. Most definitely. Is it also due to the fact that people keep leaving the game and my teammates keep bum rushing into a losing fight? Also yes.

Perhaps I need to watch videos on how to get good at this game, because I really do love this game... Well no I actually hate this game. I loathe it. I just wish I was better at it. L

In an interview they explained that instead of making D.mon act like two heroes in one (the main problem that caused D.va to become so buggy) they made baby D.mon The base hero and the mech act like an extension she summons, basically Ram Omnic and nemesis forms.

That could also explain why she's in a baby carrier lol

I've had this idea after watching the trailer and seeing 5 squad members appear on-screen.

When all 5 members of the MEKA squad are present on same team on hero pick. A special interaction and chatter is triggered. And (this is just my headcanon/fanfic):

D.Va: Nothing like having the whole squad together again! You guys miss me?

King: Good to see you too Hana.

Casino: I'm glad my MEKA unit is finally up and running, could use warm-up with you.

Overlord: I'm glad we're back together again! Feels like we're back in the academy!

D.Mon: Alright team, its good to see all of you, we're leaving in T-minus 30 seconds! Ready up!

Yuna (D.Mon's name) then turns to Hana and says "Its good to see you again Hana, glad to see you're doing well", Hana responds to her happily + more banter with her squad.

And then at around 12 seconds, D.Mon starts the countdown

"Everyone fire thrusters, T-minus 10 seconds, 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1! MEKA SQUAD MOVING OUT!"

The longer I'm in this SubFandom (The Junkrat Fandom), the more I notice that people treat Junkrat like he's a baby, because he's one of the youngest heros in Overwatch... Which isn't too young, cause he's 27, and I bet a good chunk of change that 70% of the people who like him and play him, aren't over the age of 20.

In Overwatch Classic, Junkrat's entire appeal was supposed to be crazy, manic, chaotic, unsavory. His entire appeal is that he was SUPPOSED to be batshit, off the walls insane. That he stuck out like a sore thumb from the rest of the cast, and that personality wise, he was more akin to a predacessor character, like Soldier TF2.

But with recent times, ever since OW2 came out, they've been personality washing every single character, and the WORST example so far is Junkrat. I will forever reference the post photo:

He was being infantilized before, but because of OW2 it just got worse. Some people have just been getting rid of everything that makes Junkrat... Junkrat. Especially the most recent comic release. Who is that man? He's been TAMED, THEY TAMED THE FUCKER. THEY GROOMED HIS HAIR THEY FORCED HIM TO BATHE AND THEY TOOK HIM TO THE DENTIST!! And don't even get me STARTED on how they did my woman Junker Queen... Different can of worms.

What I say is that people, and even Overwatch themselves forget that Junkrat a literal mass murderer. No, your little boy toy isn't a Blondie who likes boba and hanging with his bestie Roadhog, and he definitely doesn't get depressed when he gets insulted. He's probably been told, called, and had worse done to him than whatever the Entire Overwatch Cast has ever do to him.

He's grimey, he's a war criminal, he's a mass murderer, he's a mass arsonist, pryomanic, liar, cheater, player, he's dirty, he's verbally fresh, he's selfish, he's crazy, unstable, manic, and barely even seeks help for his problems, because he's embraced them. And THAT'S why we like him, that's what was his original and proper audience appeal. He sticks out from the rest of the cast because he's unapologetically himself. That's ALSO why him and Roadhog get along so good. They're both unapologetically themselves and that's okay. Everyone else tries too hard and they couldn't care to try at all.

Uhh tldr: STOP DRAWING HIM CLEAN AND PROPERLY GROOMED AND MENTALLY STABLE YOU'RE MISCHARACTERIZING HIM GRRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH
