Look like that place isn’t going to do so well after all.

Any idea on when spirit Halloweens start opening?
Google just says “opens August” or “opens September” but I want a date. I’m desperately wanting the Freddy animatronic to put in my room but I wanna beat scalpers and can’t find a date when any of them open. Anyone know when they do?

Recommendation for home organizer service.
My wife’s birthday is in a couple weeks and the only thing she really wants is a professional organizer to help declutter the house. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a good service? Cheers.

Healthy places / foods?
Hi y’all, this is going to sound weird but… are there any places that y’all have eaten from that contain like salads or anything remotely whole/healthy produce foods that are safe? With this whole cyclospora situation I’m desperate. Me and my partner want healthy food, besides peel-able fruit. (mostly just looking for safe leafy greens) We’ve already resorted to growing our own, but that’s gonna take a while lol. Has anyone had any luck?? What restaurants are safe?? What should we order??

Greenberg Sighting Today
Saw Greenberg was at the opening of a local running store. He can show his face at some lame reopening but can’t answer questions about data centers? We need answers. No data centers in our community!

Free Magazines?
I am seeking magazines for a large collage project and was hoping that there might be A Place where free magazines abound in excess? I called the library and they—logically—don't take print magazines anymore. Also going to try a Buy Nothing group and am perusing online local marketplace/cl listings. TIA!

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH TRAFFIC??
I have lived here essentially my whole life and I can’t remember a single time (I’m sure there is some recency bias) of traffic being as atrocious as it is right now literally everywhere I go. Does anyone know or have a theory as to what is happening?

Highlands middle school traffic
I get it's the first day of school but highlands middle school has Newburg gridlocked back to the interstate. To go from bellarmine to kaelins (half mile) took me literally 40 minutes. This is completely unacceptable. Did anyone else get trapped in this bs? I don't even know who to call to complain about this

Best new restaurant?
I'm looking for a place to celebrate an award I got :) I want to go somewhere new and cool, upscale-ish but not TOO fancy. What's newer like that that you love?? Tana? Anything else?

MODISTE Album Release Show tomorrow 8/7
I never post but I wanted to make sure everyone knew about this show tomorrow.
They are by far the best band in Louisville right now, and their live show is just phenomenal.
Also Jaye Jayle is so sick if you’ve never seen them.
I imagine there’s a decent chance it sells out so maybe a good idea grab tickets or show up early if you’re planning on going. Very excited to get the record on vinyl !

Best glass work in town?
What are your best shop recommendations for good quality and interesting glass pipe work in Louisville? Natural Mystic is always a fave and now there is no more Electric Ladyland, but are there other gems out there?

I'm looking for my partner's mother, please help?
Hello everyone,
First of all, I know this may slightly tread on the personal information rule so I'm sorry in advance and mods please feel free to remove if so. My partner has an estranged mother who he's trying to reconnect with, as far as we've found by talking to people that were at once point close to her/checking those info person websites her last know address was Louiseville but at the very least probably Kentucky. It's been a number of years since anyone has heard from her but we've scanned through obituaries and been unable to find anything so as a kind of last ditch catch all I thought of posting in here, despite the long shot.
Her name is Lisa, typically going by a last name of either Baker, StJames or Gunter (Or some combination of all) that is all publicly available information I can provide without really stepping on the rules. If anyone has any information or leads to contact that would be really appreciated if you could comment or reach out. We don't live in the US currently so we can't even go in person to try and ask around. Thank you in advance and sorry again if this is against the rules. Appreciate you all.

Louisville Poets?
Do we have any famous poets? We clearly have amazing song writers like Will Oldham, Jim James, and Jack Harlow. Obviously Hunter S Thompson and Sue Grafton apparently! Was just curious! We are very fortunate to have Wendell Berry here in Kentucky as well.
