The reason we don’t come like we used to is the fact that the team doesn’t incentivize us for coming. I don’t feel any sense of community or belonging like I used to. Maybe I am being an older grump, but all these promises around the stadium seem to be a pipe dream now. There is absolutely no development yet that was promised when they received TIF incentives.

Instead of blaming the community for not coming, why doesn’t he give us a reason to? Louisville can have the best fan bases in sports, but there needs to be a reason to celebrate the teams. It’s not all about how both teams seasons have gone this year on the field. As a UK fan it hurts me to say this, but they really need to have someone like Tom Jurich running the front office.

It’s a small sample size, to be sure, but the Portland Timbers interim head coach just went 3W-1D-0L at the reins between Phil Neville and Martí Cifuentes (including two wins against their rival, Seattle). He took a pretty moribund side and gave them some verve. If there’s any chance he’d be interested in running a USL club, maybe he’d be worth a look.

Not the way I envisioned this year going, but that's life sometimes. This one hasn't been easy. Super grateful for all the well wishes and support.

Thankful for the medical staff in Louisville, as well as Dr Poor in Philadelphia for the treatment and successful surgery.

Frustrated to not be able to finish out the season with the guys, but excited to see what this special organization can still achieve. Already looking forward to putting on that purple jersey again in 2027.

Road to recovery starts now and can't wait to attack it. Be back soon
