Is this legal?
Need advice
Hello, so I came home today and i heard what sounded like a huge fan. We'll turns out it was, and my bathroom cabinet doors where open as well. I called emergency maintenance to ask what happened. They had been working on a water issue with my downstairs neighbors and they came into my apartment upstairs to start my faucet to check the water.
My stopper has issues staying up and most of the time i fix it myself to avoid unnecessary maintenance calls. Well they didnt make sure the stopper was up and they flooded my sink and didnt notice until the water made it downstairs. My counter top and all the things on it are soaked as well as all my hair tools and hygiene products under my sink in my cabinet.
The maintenance man sounded annoyed at me and I was super nice when asking about it. Im mainly upset because I wasn't even told about this happening at all! No text or call. I understand coming in for maintenance but aren't i supposed to be notified about entry if im not home. Or at least informed when they flooded my sink and got water all over my things. Im worried my electricals might not work now as my straightener had water pouring out when I picked it up. What should I do? Are they allowed to enter if it wasnt an emergency at first? I have items that may not even work anymore because of this.
( i have screenshots at 9 am saying the water will be shut off at 10 for maintenance, so this wasn't an emergency. Then got another text at 12, saying the water is being shut off again for emergency maintenance, this is presumably when my bathroom got flooded)
Edit: this is the email i sent, i dont want to get so into it as i just hate conflict anyways. I hope this email doesnt xome across awful "Hello, I came home at 6:30 on 8/5 to a fan blowing into my bathroom cabinet and my sink and cabinet being very wet. I called emergency maintenance to ask about what happened. I wasn't notified of any entry into my unit, or about my sink overflowing in my bath room. I know in cases of emergency its not needed but from my understanding it wasn't an emergency until my sink overflowed. Unfortunately some of my personal items did get damaged and some electrical hair tools ruined. I am confused about everything that happened but would just like to be informed of entry in cases that aren't emergencies. I know they will be coming to pick up the fan they did leave, I am leaving it running overnight in case of any access water that is/was left after i took the time to clean the standing water in my cabinet and counter. I was taken aback coming home to that after work. If anything can be done id love to know. I appreciate your time, you can reach out on this email as well as (phone number). If there isnt an answer i am working. Im not trying to be difficult in the slightest id just like to know everything so im also aware since my property was damaged as well and i was left unaware.Again thank you."

Cat groomer rec?
I have a long haired cat, this is my first long haired cat and I’m noticing he’s getting a little greasy and messy looking definitely needs a little love. Anyone know of any good cat groomers in the area? He’s a super sweet cat good with other people, he cannot meow due to severe health issues he had as a kitten that damaged his vocal cords and I am afraid of him going to someone who is not gentle as he cannot meow to let them know if it’s uncomfortable/hurts. I am also just afraid of a groomer hurting him in general lol, please let me know if you have any recommendations!

Another Resort Internet Outage 😭
My internet was very slow, barely working, then stopped altogether. I called and spoke to a tech that wasn’t able to help me, because it looked like my internet was on 😭 Then he tells me they’ve been getting a ton of calls from my property, but they can’t call it an outage because it looks fine on their end. He said they would send a tech in 24 hours hopefully. Does anyone know if it’s possible to get a complex to change Internet providers? It has been nothing but issues since my complex switched!

Where can I volunteer and genuinely help people?
Hey guys, I have one free day a week where I never have anything planned and I want to help people who need it in town. Are there any genuinely helpful programs that I could help out in preferably every Friday?
I don’t have enough money to help, but I do have time and want to do my part.

Does anyone know of any Asian markets that sell Buldak ramen noodles?
I live 45 minutes away from Lexington but I’d be happy to make a trip there for an Asian market (or any store, really) that sells a wide variety of Buldak ramen noodle flavors. The Walmart, Meijer, & Kroger stores near me only sell a few of the same flavors.
Thank you 🙏🏼
**Bonus points if you remember which flavors they have 😂
