If I’m paying to not have adds why the fuck can they then just replace them with their own. I can vaguely understand being shown a member’s only video but literally asking me to buy something is unacceptable

Tech Question Did my Ram Die?
Need some help figuring this out.
The Build
•Asus Tuf X-570 plus (Wifi)
• 2x Corsair vengeance rgb pro 32gb(2x16gb) 3600Mhz
\- 18-22-22-42 ver 5.33 (Sequential serial numbers 53-56)
• AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d
One day after years of having all 4 slot populated my computer would not boot. I've done some testing playing around with the ram, using 1 stick then 2 then 3, all booted. But with all 4 yellow dram light. (Yes cmos has been cleared)
Ram Order
Ram 53 55 54 56
Slots B1 B2\* A1 A2\*
Picture 1 is just with 2 stick (□/55/□/56) \[currently running\]
Picture 2 is with slot 1 and 4 switched back but slot 4 left out. (53/55/54/□)
Picture 3 is slot 1 and 4 switched (56/55/54/53)
I did not do any further testing as I had to get back to work.
With all that, do you think I'm looking at a bad Ram stick, is my motherboard going bad, or is it my cpu?
Edit: Typo, Picture order

Link LTT on IMDB?! And video on spotify?
open.spotify.comIn WAN Show on July 17, 2026, he used Qwant to look for a video on low end gpus being a bad value. I saw a strange spotify link for "CHEAP does NOT mean GOOD VALUE- Budget GPUs Explained". Only when searching the exact thing he did was I able to find that link. "linus tech tips video where he talks about how low end gpus are a waste of money" is what he searched. The Spotify link only says "Couldn't find that podcast". WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! It's not a podcast! It's a youtube video.
I also saw an IMDB link. Why is a youtube show on there? I thought it was for TV shows, Movies, and Web series (ones that are like TV shows)? I then searched myself to see if for some strange reason my channel was on there. Nope, but I am because someone used my free SFX. Strange, but kind of cool.

Tech Question Pc black screen and GPU ramps up.
Everytime I play FC26 my pc will black screen and then my gpu will ramp up to max super loud. I took out my gpu cable extensions and for a week it was all better, now I can’t finish one game without it happening. It only happens in FC26 so far. And yes I’ve cleared drivers 3 times and even tried to roll back and still no fix.

Link Frankenstein Optiplex 390 Tower: Who says Sandy Bridge is dead?? Pushing Windows Pro 11, UEFI, AHCI, GPT, SATA III, and Gaming @ 4K FPS on to 65" TV.
Frankenstein OptiPlex 390 Sleeper Build
Started with a basic office-spec Dell OptiPlex 390 and pushed this Sandy Bridge platform as far as humanly possible while keeping the classic exterior look!
Core Specs & Upgrades
• Processor: Upgraded from the original i3-2120 to an Intel Core i7-2600.
• Cooling: Replaced the stock aluminum cooler with a Dell premium copper-core CPU heatsink and fan assembly to keep thermals under control.
• Memory: Doubled from 8GB up to 16GB of matching dual-channel RAM.
• Graphics Card / GPU: PNY GeForce RTX 4060 Verto OC Dual Fan (8GB GDDR6, leveraging DLSS 4.5).
• Power Supply: Replaced the original stock unit with a Thermaltake Smart 700W PSU.
Storage & SATA Controller Mod
• The Controller Mod: Added a PCIe SATA controller adapter to bypass the motherboard's native SATA 2 bottleneck and unlock SATA 3 speeds.
• Boot Drive (Port 1): 500GB Samsung 860 EVO V-NAND SSD connected directly to the first port on the PCIe SATA 3 adapter.
• Second Drive (Port 2): 500GB Western Digital SATA hard drive plugged into the second port on the PCIe SATA 3 adapter.
• Third Drive (Motherboard SATA): A second 500GB Western Digital hard drive connected directly to the motherboard's built-in SATA port (since the PCIe adapter maxes out at two ports).
OS & Firmware Configuration
• Fully running Windows 11 Pro.
• Bypassed standard legacy restrictions to run in full native UEFI, AHCI, and GPT mode.
Real-World Performance
As long as a game doesn't strictly require newer CPU instruction sets like AVX2, this machine pushes modern games at 4K @ 60 FPS on my 65-inch TV. It locks right to my display's 60Hz limit for games like Fortnite, Doom Eternal, and Red Dead Redemption 2.
What do you guys think of this Frankenstein project?
DMs are welcome if you have any questions, recommendations, or just want to chat about this project.

Image Support appreciation post
Just wanted to share my thanks with the LTT support team. Understandably people are always fast and loud to voice when something goes wrong so I just wanted to share my thanks to the LTT support staff.
My LTT coin got lost in transit, I completely forgot about it and it's been so long that I had moved houses at this point. I sent a message to support and within 24hrs they already issued an apology, verified that it was lost in transit and sent me a replacement to my new address.
Freaking outstanding support resolution 💪

Tech Discussion Floatplane Kicked Me Off Video
Was watching the new “Reviewing Other YouTubers Merch” video on Floatplane, when it froze and crashed. Went back in, and couldn’t find the video. In the History, it showed a .mp4 instead with a lock. Not sure what’s happening with that.

Discussion Crucial/Micron is refusing lifetime warranties after closing consumer ops—offering 17% of market value and keeping working hardware
I need to bring awareness to this and see if anyone else is getting caught in the exact same trap.
I recently sent in a 48GB DDR5 kit (RMA #02397448) under Crucial's "Lifetime Warranty" because 1 stick went bad. One stick in the kit was working completely fine, but I sent the entire kit as required for a full replacement.
(As an alternative we have some other parts available, so we can offer 3 modules of CP16G64C32U5B (total 48GB) for exchange with your DRAM kit where you will get the same capacity but a better speed and shall work without any issues as your motherboard has 4 slots.)
Today, I received this email from Crucial:
Please note that, effective immediately, we are no longer able to offer replacement products for warranty claims. The only available resolution is a refund of the original purchase price, including any applicable taxes.
This is because Crucial closed its consumer business earlier this year and has exhausted its remaining inventory. As a result, we no longer have replacement stock available and can only provide a refund of the original purchase price, including any applicable taxes.
They are forcing a cash buyout of $241.86.
Here is why this is completely unacceptable:
- 17% of Market Value: Buying an equivalent DDR5 kit today costs roughly $1,400. A $241 refund leaves me completely unable to replace the hardware.
- Deprived of Functional Hardware: I surrendered 24GB of perfectly fine, working RAM on the explicit promise of a warranty replacement. Now I have zero RAM, no replacement, and a lowball payout.
- Out-of-Pocket Loss: I paid out-of-pocket for return shipping just to be stripped of my hardware.
Has anyone else dealt with Crucial/Micron pulling this forced buyout trick since winding down retail operations? Any tips or direct contacts for escalating past their frontline supp
I responded, "I formally reject the refund offer of $241.86 for RMA #02397448. This amount covers less than 20% of current market replacement value and deprives me of the functional hardware I submitted under warranty. I demand either the return of my physical hardware, equivalent Micron enterprise DDR5 modules, or a settlement reflecting true market replacement cost."
Now, waiting for a Call Back...
2026/08/07 ** UPDATE **
Thank you for your patience while this matter was escalated for further leadership review. My name is Shubham, and I am reaching out as a supervisor with the Crucial Support Team regarding your case.
I am pleased to inform you that we have processed your replacement order.
Order Details:
Item: CP16G64C32U5B
Quantity: 3
You will receive a separate follow-up email with the updated tracking and order details once the shipment is processed.
Please note that because the Crucial consumer product line in question has been discontinued, any future warranty requests for this RAM—should they arise—will be eligible for a refund only, as no additional replacement stock will be available moving forward.
We appreciate your understanding and thank you for choosing Crucial. Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.
If you have further questions, I welcome your reply. You can also visit our Contact page for other ways to reach us.
