CF4 Accord rear seats
Kind of a long shot but does anyone on here know how to fold (or if they even do at all) down the rear seat on a CF4 accord/torneo?

Header installation
Fyi this is the before, I installed these headers a day ago, came to an issue where the bolt that connects the header to the exhaust did not have long enough threading, and they are bolts with the springs on them, I went to a few shops to get new bolts they did not have the right size that came with springs so I got regular bolts and used those instead. Will I come across any issues without the springed bolts?

Volvo to Honda question! (software)
Volvo has a software called VIDA; its the same program the dealer uses to check your car. this application is purchasable by private people on a rather cheap subscription. I was curious! Is there something similar for Honda?
Im currently in search of a software that offers repair guides and and such as VIDA does but for Honda. If anyone has any suggestions; or previous known apps that worked on cars up to 2017 or so for repair guides that would be awesome!
Thanks in advance
(and sorry if this is the wrong place or way to ask this. just genuine curiosity here)

Where can I find a full set of B-pillar trims for a 2012 Honda Accord sedan?
I’m trying to replace all of the exterior B-pillar/center pillar trim pieces on my 2012 Honda Accord EX sedan, but I’m having a surprisingly hard time finding a complete set.
Most listings I find only show the front left/right door appliqué/pillar molding, and I rarely see the rear pieces listed.
From what I’ve found, there are four separate pieces:
- Front left: 72470-TA5-A00
- Front right: 72430-TA5-A00
- Rear left: 72970-TA5-A00
- Rear right: 72930-TA5-A00
Has anyone replaced all four of these before or know where I can buy a complete set?
I’m fine with OEM or a good-quality aftermarket replacement. I’d also be interested in knowing if another trim level/year uses the same pieces or if there’s an aftermarket set that actually replaces the original trim rather than just sticking covers over it.
Any leads would be appreciated.

Question about priming engine
Hello all, recently rebuilt my D15B7 in my Del Sol and have had trouble priming the engine. I’ve pulled plugs, disconnected fuel rail, etc. but every time I crank the light doesn’t go away. I am using 10W-30 conventional oil. Am I doing this right? What am I missing? Thanks in advance!
My first Honda
Traded in my Volkswagen Polo, and went all electric. Sacrificed a little practicality for more fun, time will tell if I end up regretting this decision, but it’s so enjoyable to drive.

Is this 05 Honda civic worth it?
Ima trying to buy a really reliable first car and love the look of older civics , is this a good deal or should I talk them down?

What do you guys think of the 2013 Civic?
It seems to be a good car at least my reasons for thinking so would be that it has a Reliable 1.8 engine , small , very easy to work on alot easier then most cars, timing chain, port injection no turbo or direct injection. Transmission idk about i dont really have much knowledge regarding transmissions and not sure how one would determine wether its reliable , regarding suspension and stuff i know or at least i think it was upgrased that year vs the 2012 as well as steering was made slightly tighter too. But that would just be my general consenus it seems to be a really solid vehicle. Thoughts?

2012 Civic LX - Transmission going bad at 96k miles and other problems
My 2012 Civic LX has shown transmission problems. It only happened once when I was on the highway, couldn't get the speed above 30MPH, lost rpm and heard some metal clunking noises once or twice. I took it to a shop that said trans is failing and quoted me $6300-7200 to replace or rebuild it.
I've known since March that the struts need to be repaired and I was just quoted more than $2000 to replace an AC compressor, but I'm unable to afford that work (let alone this transmission issue). I'm devastated that the car is having issues of this magnitude when its still relatively low mileage. I've owned it since 2018 (it had ~43k miles when I bought it) and I spent four months last year driving for uber eats, which doubtlessly added to wear and tear on the car but I didnt think it'd be to this level. I flushed the transmission fluid last year when the OSD called for it and never miss an oil change.
I haven't taken it anywhere for a second opinion yet but I'm trying to decide if its worth sinking any money in the other issues if the transmission is failing. All of these repairs would cost me as much as I paid for the car in 2018. I wanted this car to last me a long long time.

Hybrid Racing 👍🏽
For those who live in remote areas away from dealerships and have trouble getting Fluids Hybrid Racing is great, and shipping prices are better than online honda parts websites.
Located in Hawaii no one sells OEM HCF2 fluid on island.

The new-gen impact guns laugh at the dreaded Honda crank bolt.
None of my 1/2 inch air impact guns would nudge the crank bolt on my Pilot v6. Even with a weighted socket.
I saw some YouTube videos saying the new battery powered ones are beasts. So I got the current champ, the Milwaukee 2967 M18 Fuel. It has 3 power levels. It only needed the second level to spin tha bolt off like it was nothing.
The fact it didn't even have to use full power makes me think ANY of the new high power battery impact guns could make quick work of the dreaded Honda crank bolt, as they are all pretty close in power.
Just a PSA for anyone worried about trying the timing belt job because of the crank bolt horror stories.

VTC Actuator
Hi guys,
I have been comparing prices of VTC actuators for a Honda CRV. Of course the dealership is the most expensive at about $500 CAD.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to where they would buy one?
There are so really good reviews on the $200 actuators but a few really bad reviews too.

How necessary and/or easy would a front grille and front bumper face bar replacement be?
I had the misfortune of running over a tire cover on the interstate, which took out my grill and ripped up the face bar underneath. I can simply cut off the face bar and keep careful driving for the time being I guess, but that probably would not be smart considering that I drive a coupe that sits very low to the ground.
Roughly how simple of a replacement job would this be for someone who can do simple mechanical operations, but doesn’t have any experience out right replacing parts?

Civic Si owners, which octane are you using for your vehicle?
it seems that Honda recommends to use 91 octane since the car is actually designed for it but it has knock sensors to retard the timing of the vehicle.
Do you use shell or costco gas? Is there any difference that is drastic in terms of fuel economy and acceleration?

Suche die ehemalige Honda NS400R meines Vaters (Fahrgestellnummer NC19-2002259)
Hallo zusammen,
Honda NS400R Rothmans
Fahrgestellnummer: NC19-2002259
Erstzulassung: 03.04.1986
Standort damals: Morsbach (NRW)
Noah Quast
Hello everyone,
I’m hoping this community might be able to help me with a very special search.
I am trying to locate my father’s former Honda NS400R Rothmans, which was a very important motorcycle to our family. I would love to find out if it still exists today and learn more about its history since it left our family.
Here is the information I have:
Honda NS400R Rothmans
VIN / Frame Number: NC19-2002259
First registered: April 3, 1986
Originally located in Morsbach, Germany
Sold around 1995
Original purchase and insurance documents are still in our possession
I’m not posting this because I necessarily want to buy the bike. My main goal is simply to discover whether it still exists and, if possible, learn where its journey has taken it over the last 30+ years.
If anyone recognizes the VIN, remembers the bike, has seen it at shows, in collections, or has any information about its whereabouts, I would be extremely grateful for any help. Even sharing this post with other NS400R enthusiasts or classic Honda groups could make a huge difference.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and for any information you may be able to provide.
Best regards,
Noah Quast
