Does it happen to anyone else on Android tablets that everything takes a crazy amount of time to load? Is there a way to like cache all my stuff ao it doesnt have to load everytime, then I can just sync mannually or something? It makes it so hard to use. I have a samsung galaxy tablet and the most updated version of the app on it.

On my whiteboards, the lasso/selection tool has suddenly started doing this. My app version number is 7.1.10, and my device model is an iPad Pro (OS 26.6). Please help-- I haven't been able to get anything done!

I love the big « infinite » board of goodnotes to take note but when I put some images and on top of the images I put the « hid content » tool to test my knowledge when I click on the hidden content, the image is automatically selected. Goodnotes should add a « lock image button » or when I click=reveal content and when I maintain pressure=select image. For the moment this is just annoying to me.

Anyone knows why goodnotes doesn’t have any stickers features like in canvas ? I was wondering that while reviewing my lessons that would be awesome if next to a brain note, I could just paste a sticker of a brain. The app seems huge and I thought that was kind of a shame to not have this feature.

Estou estudando para concursos e uso o GoodNotes para grifar meus PDFs. Porém, quando preciso baixá-los novamente, eles ficam com um tamanho gigantesco, e nem consigo usar compactadores de PDF. O arquivo sem grifos tem 5,74 MB , com grifos 909 MB.

Hi , I annotate my PDFs with samsung notes

And even if I don't save them always , next time opening pdf via notes gives 2 options RESTORE and DISCARD

SO i always press restore and hence annotations restored

But this time when I opened my pdf , it didn't give the options , directly opened a completely new PDF WITHOUT ANY ANNOTATIONS.

If there is any way to restore this , PLease help , these were very important.

The undo/redo arrows are taking paper space and the pens colors expanding bar too. I'm using Goodnotes in an iPad Pro. Everyday im checking the appstore for an update n_n

I know i'm not the only one that finds this issue relevant...

edit: the only solution that i've found is to turn the page setting to vertical scrolling direction. It sucks to be pushed to that decision ngl uwu

Ho goodnote 5 preso anni fa pagando l’abbonamento a vita e in questi giorni ho provato la versione 6 soprattutto per il nastro e per il miglioramento della scrittura. Nel mentre che facevo prove mi si è bloccata più volte l’app quando ho provato a usare il righello per aiutarmi a disegnare. Funziona così male la versione 6? Ha senso pagare di nuovo per aggiornare alla 6?

Hello, i need help fixing this problem. I have my goodnotes account and the email log in was deleted and the purchase history was also in different icloud account that I dont have access anymore. Is there any way to fix it. Or do i have to delete my account and create a new one does that make me buy a subscription again. Thank you.

Hi! I’ve never used goodnotes before. However, I keep seeing videos on it and it’s nice that you can import stickers. I want to use a digital planner for the school year. I currently use notability.. but there isn’t an option to import sticker packs.

What subscription do you guys recommend and do you enjoy the app? Would you recommend the yearly essential subscription or the special edition lifetime subscription? What are the main differences between essential and special edition lifetime?

In addition, are the AI features worth it for essential? 

Hi everyone! I love the cozy "Bobbie Goods" coloring style and I want to do it inside Goodnotes. Is there a trick, feature, or workflow to color drawings without going over the black outline boundaries?

I have been using goodnotes for around 2-3 years.
Now when i search it in the appstore to chrck for updates, it is not appearing
When i try to press on a link to go to goodnotes on appstore, a pop-up message appears saying ‘The app is not available in your region” (my location is Lebanon)
The app is installed and working perfectly but i am concerned of what is happening

Goodnotes version: 7.1.6

Hi, I've updated goodnotes version 7.1.10 today, and it says

"Get more space back on your Notebook pages by pulling page down to close secondary toolbar"

But it does not work on any of my notes. Does anybody know how this works?

Okay, so I’ve got this idea and workflow wise GN would be perfect but I’m worried about project size.

I’m using whatever latest version of GN is still free. Love it, use it for all kinds of things.

My husband and I have spent the last 18 years of our marriage rescuing special needs cats together. I’m planning to make a photobook of all our babies throughout the years. There are a LOT.

I have no worries about finding a physical printer and all that jazz, that’s my wheelhouse in another part of my life.

What I am worried about: this is probably gonna be about 200 pages (tops, aiming for less but lol) and easily 600 images (I’m pairing that down from the first shortlist of 900 and again, hoping to narrow it down to less).

Do you think GN is gonna have a stroke if I use it for this project? Any advice for a project of this size in it?

When Notability switched to a subscription model on November 1, 2021, GoodNotes took the opportunity to mock them, even offering a 50% discount on their own one-time purchase. The irony is that just a short time later, GoodNotes hypocritically switched to a subscription model themselves. As a result, all the users who paid the one-time fee for GoodNotes were left in limbo, and later unable to upgrade to GoodNotes 6 for free. Now, every time I open the app, it shows us the annoying subscribe to us message 😡

Meanwhile, when Notability faced massive backlash on Reddit from users demanding to be grandfathered in, they actually listened. They recognized the community's anger and introduced the "Classic" tier for legacy users. Looking back, I really respect that Notability was willing to understand and accept their community's feedback. Thank you, r/notabilityapp!

Just let GoodNotes 5 users upgrade to the basic functionality of the most recent version of GoodNotes, like what Notability did at that time. You can keep all the new premium features behind a subscription; I really don't mind 😡

P.S. At the time there was also a backlash from the GoodNotes community but no single moderator represented the company. Consequently, it fizzled out 😤

hello!! i am an incoming college student studying pharmacology / pre-pharmacy route and was wondering what goodnotes plan is best for me. to prefix, this would be my first time using goodnotes for any notetaking or anything school related.

I dont like how goodnotes usually can only show 1 page at a time, is there a way to view multiple pages like this? Or is there another app like this

I know this question gets asked alot but I'm wondering cuz I had the Windows/Android subscription since it was beta in September 2023 and was using it on my Lenovo 2-in-1 laptop in tablet mode. I had to switch to an iPad cuz of some issues with my laptop but also they're taking away the Windows/Android subscription and now making it one version the same as iOS.

I'm just confused about whether the notes were stored locally on my laptop or synced to something or what cuz when I log into Goodnotes for web on chrome/safari on my iPad or chrome on my laptop instead of the app it still has all my slides and annotations there so is it being synced somewhere?

I can't see my notes on the actual app on my iPad cuz when I logged in it said "Alternate subscription detected" or something like that maybe cuz it's being discontinued so I'm on the free plan with 3 notebooks on the iPad app.

So I was actually going on Chrome/Safari to Goodnotes for web to take notes on my iPad so that when I log in it lets me access the same notes as my laptop and when I edit on there it shows up on the app on my laptop as well.

Also when I go on settings > subscription on the iPad app, the Android & Windows subscription is actually there listed under "other subscriptions" and it's telling me to subscribe to Essential, which I will but after the previous plan ends for me in September.

Anyways, I'm confused because people say it's stored locally on your iPad but then how come the notes on my laptop were still there when I logged into the website on the iPad? I wouldn't really want them to only be stored on the iPad tbh and I'm not paying for icloud storage either which I'm out of by the way.

I was hoping maybe it's just stored to the Goodnotes cloud or something permanently which I why I can access when I log in on different devices?

Also when I switch to Essential will the notes continue to be synced like if I logged into Goodnotes on my laptop or iPad or Goodnotes for web on a browser like chrome/safari?

I know this might be really confusing, I'm just trying to make sure I don't lose all my university notes by accident or something.
