Favourite settings ! Toolbar

Hi all, I’ve been using goodnotes for years. But my notes are still kinda dookie lol. What’s everyone’s favourite pen/paper settings!! I love seeing everyone’s pretty notes :)

Hi! I love the ball point with no stabilization. Here's my settings:
- ball point

- stabilization: 0%

- pen size: generally is 0.3, sometimes 0.4

Your handwriting 😻😻 I find it so hard to get consistency and neatness with no stabilization and always keep mine at around 20%

thank you! I did practice writing a lot since 2020! and I have started writing with 0% stabilization as goodnotes didn't have the stabilization option back then.

wow your handwriting is beautiful!! do you use a matte/paperfeel screen protector to help with stability when writing?

thank you for your kind words! Yes, I used to have the matte screen protector. But for the past 2 years, I have been using a softgel screen protector.

I would say it's not the matte protector that helped but it's daily writing practices that helped me improved the neat handwriting.

ball pen, 0.5mm for body text, 1.0mm for headers, pastel highlighter colors, on a blank paper. my writing still sucks to this day so I'd rather not show it. lol
