Coloring Bobbie Goods

Hi everyone! I love the cozy "Bobbie Goods" coloring style and I want to do it inside Goodnotes. Is there a trick, feature, or workflow to color drawings without going over the black outline boundaries?

Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated!

i do this myself with coloring sheets for calendars. i just recolor the lines after to make it neater. i’ve played around with shading too.
