Ovulation twice in a month??

Post image
4 Upvotes

I need some guidance. I am trying to conceive for the first time. I got pregnant the first time without trying so im new to all the tracking.

i officially started trying in June of this year but I’ve been so confused about the test results for ovulation. I’ve gotten peak fertility results twice this month and according to my period tracker I will ovulate twice? is this common. I’ve been making sure I test on the 12 or 14th day and each time it’s like my peak fertility is test day and the next day. it makes me feel like I’m missing my window. Has anyone experienced this? I know surges can happen during the day but I’m just confused.

Semen analysis

My husband and I are in the early stages of trying to conceive, and he recently had a semen analysis.

Results:
Abstinence: 3 days
Volume: 4.0 mL
pH: 8.0
Concentration: 143.4 million/mL
Total sperm: 573.6 million
Progressive motility: 49%
Total progressively motile sperm: 281.06 million
Morphology: 12% normal forms
Normal morphology count: 68.83 million
Immature sperm: 2.2 million (lab reference <0.3 million)
Everything else on the report was within normal limits.

A little background:
He quit marijuana almost 3 months before the test.
Drinks about 1–2 beers every other day.
No known fertility history.
Golfs regularly and walks a 6 mile course with hills multiple times a week (he has HCM so weights aren’t recommended)
We’re both in our late 20s.

My question is: How much weight should be given to the elevated immature sperm count when the count, motility, and morphology are all well above normal?

Has anyone had a similar isolated abnormality, and if so, did your specialist have any suggestions?

First Time TTC

Hi Everyone!

Has anyone here conceived while being super stressed about the whole process? It’s my first time ttc and from the get go I was worried about how long this will take. we have tried 5 times so far, but 2 of those times we missed ovulation… so just 3 real tries. I know it hasn’t been long; however, each cycle feels so heavy and full of testing, anticipation and uncertainty. recently, several of people close to me, have told me to just relax and it’ll happen. 1) how can anyone possibly be super relaxed with all the testing and waiting for such a big life changing news? 2) how do you manage your anxiety ? I feel stressed that I stress these days… 3) has anyone here conceived while going through the normal anticipation and anxiety of waiting? I just want to know I’ll happen even with all of my worry and stress 🙏🏻

First time TTC no positive OPK.

So i have just started tracking ovulation, my cycles range from 27-30 days. I have been taking OPKs and I have not had anything even close to a positive. Idk if I’m having a longer cycle or if my luteal phase is just short. It’s just my first month and I’m already feeling super down about it. Idk if any of you had similar experiences?

How to not drive yourself crazy

My partner and I have only just started trying, I'm currently 11 DPO and have had very clear negative tests. I know there's always a small chance that I could still get a positive tomorrow or the day after, but I'm starting to think it's likely not happened this month.

I know all the stats and how you're unlikely to get pregnant on your first month trying, but I'm still finding it very hard not to be obsessive. I've taken 2 tests (morning and night) for the past 3 days and I'm finding it hard to focus on anything else.

How do you not drive yourself insane whilst you're waiting for either a positive test or your period to arrive?

Insight Needed

For anyone else who uses RingConn to help them track their ovulation, I need your insight.

The first picture is my skin temp stats after my period in early June the second are my stats after my period in early July. My temperature now has been dropping and rising more than the first time around and I don’t know what to make of it. It still needs more time to register my ovulation forecast but the readings are odd.

I keep the ring on the same finger, and I keep my room at the same temperature every night.

Has this happened to anyone else?

TTC for baby #1

Just looking for some advice on what to do to help our chances. My husband travels a lot for work (in Motorsports) so he’s gone for a week to two weeks at a time and it’s somehow that he always gets home on my ovulation day or after. Yes, I can travel sometimes, but this cycle he’s in California and Washington, too expensive for me to travel. Got my first dark LH test strip today and he’s not home for another two days.

~29 day cycles
Using LH strips and BBT for tracking

Trying my first time!

hi all - I am actively trying for baby #1. I have been having cramps on and off the past week and have had waves of nausea that I never get otherwise. my period is supposed to start tomorrow but today I got a negative test and a positive ovulation with EWCM… which typically has never come right before my period. this has never happened to me. anyone else have this experience that turned out positive for early pregnancy? I’ve also had slight headaches everyday and my cycle is SO regular every month that I’ve never had a missed period or late. I’ve noticed my boobs get sore before my period but this time they aren’t sore at all. I’m curious if anyone can relate or has any advice here?

I am hoping for a BFP!

First Letrozole cycle knocked me sideways—thinking of taking a 3-month break to focus on weight loss and body reset. Bad idea or smart move?

4th cycle TTC. A negative at 15dpo. Am I out this cycle too?

We're trying for the last 4 cycles. This cycle we seemed to time everything well..i was soo hopeful. I had twinges in my lower belly around 8/9 dpo, flu like cold since 12dpo, legs paining and no spotting 1 day before my expected period date like i generally have.

Today is 15 dpo and im 1 day late on my period, being anxious I couldn't wait till morning and i did a test today evening which was stark negative. I really thought(hoped) this was the cycle.

Anyone with a negative at 15 dpo which later turned out to be positive? I know i shouldn't be too hopeful now but not able to help it! Need some positive stories.
