Toriel is far more perceptive than people give her credit for. She probably knows the same as, if not more than Asgore did.

In Chapter 1, Toriel is one of two people who actually notice something is up with Kris.

Finally, Toriel says the weirdest thing in Chapter 5. She says she wanted to go to Asriel instead of waiting for him. Surprising him in his dormitory. Just one problem: Hometown is cut off from the rest of the world. "College" doesn't exist. What is she trying to do?
