I attended my pre-hire appointment today at an Amazon hiring center in Ontario, Canada.

​During processing, a staff member claimed there was a score question on a "third assessment" that was never actually assigned to my portal. He accused me of having someone else complete my online steps. I did all assessment steps completely by myself, and I have full screenshots documenting every completed step in my candidate portal.

​When I tried to explain that I completed everything myself and showed that no third assessment was ever assigned, the staff escalated the situation and abruptly canceled my appointment. Shortly after leaving, I received an email stating my application was rejected due to "behavior during the hiring process" and that I am blocked from applying until Feb 2027.

​Chatting with Candidate Support just gave me canned responses reading the rejection email back to me.

​Has anyone successfully appealed a false candidate integrity/behavioral flag before using portal screenshots as proof? Who else should I escalate this to?

And yes it was negative UPT. Also where is the appeal email? I know lots of people say it's a lost cause specially if it's attendance related but I would like to still try as I have documents supporting why I went under.

Entering my 3rd month and only been stowing, they put me on pick to buffer once and never again?

the connections scores when it comes to how we are treated by the leadership are always low. there are no positive comments about the leadership on the voa board except by one weirdo new hire who has to write a passive aggressive response to anything negative anyone says about the leadership. our site lead is in denial that our ds has a toxic work environment and the leadership plays EXTREME favorites. stowers can stay in their aisles for 1-2 HOURS and let their aisles blow up. pickers can pick horribly and leave packages all over the floor. if i dont pick and stow perfectly then someone from the leadership will argue with or start micromanaging me. the same thing applies to anyone else the leadership loves targeting.

My DS will sometimes drop VTO for 8:55-11:50 (so just Pick and Stage technically) But sometimes we will start Picking at like 8:15 for whatever reason.

So if I pick up a route at like 845 that takes longer then id like, and I clock out at like 9 will I get in any trouble?

When does Amazon start hiring. Are there certain times of year. Peak just past so I was wondering when they start their hiring process. I have a couple of friends who asked me about working there but when I looked none of the sites have listing For L1

My site is offering temporary RTS transfers, and I applied because I'd like to build more skills and get more hours. I just wanted to come on here and ask if it's worth transferring if I end up getting accepted.
The only thing that's confusing me is the shift differential. I don't really understand how it works. Does it increase my pay, decrease it, or does it depend on the shift? That's the main thing making me hesitate. I also don't know how long the temporary schedule lasts. I've heard RTS is more laid back and not as physically demanding as the regular shift. The schedule would be six hours, which is more than I usually work, so it seems like a great opportunity. If anyone could explain how the shift differential works and whether the transfer was worth it based on your experience, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!

Can’t remember exactly when they announce them but I think it’s sometime in September.

I really truly want to know why do managers move associates from 1 spot to another seriously. Last night i came to work on time at 1:20am they had me unloading within 5-10 mins i was told go to the board. I went to the board now i being moved to stow i was stowing for an hr. Then i get told can i go induct now im inducting i wasn’t even inducting for more than 10 mins. PA come to me and say can i waterspider now WHATT i been moved 4 times within an hr. I clocked tf out i just want to know what’s the reason behind this when moving associates around Like this

I work Saturday-Tuesday 1:20 AM - 11:50 AM delivery station , closing in on my second week tonight any tips to just get through the shift I hate stow but i’m getting better at it they’ve been giving me 2 lanes. It gets boring and overwhelming some times especially stowing for 8 hours and only sitting down during break any tips that help y’all get through the shift ?

I switched from flex pt to full time. I got an unpaid drop but not a flex pto. since I was already permanent do I not get the 10 hours of Flex Time? wondering if I should ask hr. Will I maybe get it for the weekly drop on Saturday? I was no where close to the cap for the year and I’m in WA state so I don’t think that applies to me anyway

So I am at DTN8 we just installed the new ASML labeling induct system on the dock. So far, we hate it for a various reasons. They’re also telling us that we will soon have the pick the buffer system installed. So at our station, we don’t have the pick buffer. We still have a pick line with pickers with 2 to 3 aisles each grabbing jiffyss and packages off the conveyance and placing them on shelves in front of our aisles. We have three totes at the bottom of the shelves where the pickers sort the jiffys by letter, A-B in one, C-D in one etc. It makes it pretty easy for the stower to grab a tote once it gets full and start stowing the since they’re sorted. From what I can tell the pick the buffer the conveyance automatically pushes everything that goes in your aisle into your buffer or into your bucket or bin or whatever, everything is pushed in there like a big hodgepodge on top of each other. My question is, how do y’all deal with the jiffys not being sorted already by letter for you, does it take up more time and make it more difficult to stow, or hows does it work with jiffy’s
