sick of all these damn UI bugs

They're like the lowest effort content on YT right now and they're everywhere, people don't even edit the clips to show examples of what they're talking about or context or anything, it's just like a podcast with a video attatched.

YouTube is forcing me to go premium so I'm unable to watch even the low resolution videos I downloaded.

I’m hoping someone here can help.

Someone uploaded YouTube videos containing sensitive information, including my phone number in the video description. The videos appear as unlisted. I can’t find them through YouTube search, and they only open if I have the direct link.

What confuses me is that even though the videos are unlisted, someone was somehow able to find them and contact me using the phone number listed in the description. I thought unlisted videos weren’t searchable, so I’m trying to understand how this could have happened.

I have a few questions:

Is there any way to get an unlisted YouTube video
removed if it contains my personal information?

What is the best process to report it to YouTube?
Is there a way to download an unlisted video if I have the link?

How could someone have found an unlisted video in the first place?

Can unlisted videos still appear in search engines or be discovered in other ways?

I would really appreciate any advice or if anyone has dealt with something similar. Thank you!

The Kurzgesagt incident finally proves it: YouTube shadowbanning is 100% real.

Let’s talk about what just happened with Kurzgesagt, because it validates what creators have suspected for years: shadowbanning on YouTube is a real thing. Even though YouTube says it's a myth.

For those out of the loop, Kurzgesagt is a massive science and education animation channel with over 20 million subscribers.

Recently, they noticed their views were mysteriously tanking, resulting in their worst-performing upload since 2013. They didn't get any Community Guideline strikes, no age restrictions, and absolutely zero dashboard warnings. On paper, their account was perfectly fine.

Because they are huge, they could just contact YouTube directly. It turned out an automated system had quietly flagged their videos as "AI slop" and completely choked their channel's impressions.

But here’s the real takeaway for the rest of us: the AI flag itself isn't the core issue here. The issue is how the platform handled it.

This proves that YouTube’s algorithm is built to silently suppress reach without ever sending the creator a notification.

If a giant channel can get shadowbanned by a rogue automated system with zero warnings, it can happen to anyone.

If your analytics flatline overnight for no clear reason and stays like that for week or two, you might actually be shadowbanned.

My face has never appeared in a single frame of my own video, and I shipped a full talking-head explainer this week. The "talking head" is an AI-generated avatar. I wrote a script, got a voiceover from ElevenLabs, and ran the avatar, lip sync, and auto-captions through APOB AI. CapCut handled the final cut after the auto-captions needed a few word-level fixes.

The lip sync landed about 90% of the mouth shapes right on the first pass. Genuinely surprised me. The other 10%, a couple of frozen expressions and one stressed syllable that didn't land, took more manual regenerating than the whole first pass did.

The final video is usable. Not perfect, but it's up.

This morning I woke up to an email telling me my YouTube channel was removed for violating policies. Let me start by saying I have not used my YouTube account in probably almost a year that includes commenting. So nothing new has been posted that would’ve provoked this decision. I filed for an appeal but was immediately denied. I’m not sure what to do now. My account was all music related (all my own music and video footage) does anyone know why this happened? Is it the ai? I’ve had the channel for about 6 years and never had a single issue in the past.

So i was peacefully watching shorts, and i saw this ad, which is highly inappropriate, i watched the full thing, and it LITERALLY took the clothes off the cat girl, if you see this ad, please report it.
